Our home away from home!

Can't say enough positive things about our experiences staying at the Safety Harbor Motel. Danielle, Ben, and their family have something special in the quaint bayside town of Safety Harbor. Most importantly, every room is clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and well appointed. A two block walk down Main St leads you to some of the best pizza in all of the country (this is coming from a NYC girl who knows her pizza, LOL). Walk another block across t he tracks and you are in the heart of downtown with many charming shops and restaurants. Stroll the short 3/4 mile to the marina or boardwalk and take in the sights and sounds of the natural habitat along the shore of Old Tampa Bay. Not only do you have in-town convenience, but the Safety Harbor Motel is less than 30 minutes to Clearwater Beach, Dunedin, or Tarpon Springs, all popular spots for travelers who want to visit the beaches and small towns along the Gulf coast. Plan your next stay in the area around this hidden gem!

What a GEM!

This little apartment was the cutest! Clean and welcoming. Great decor. Had everything we needed and such a fun location. It should be noted that there are stairs going into this particular unit and a narrow sidewalk leading up. I may have missed that in the description. We have a disabled 5 year old so it was a slight inconvenience but he’s still small enough now to manage. We loved our stay here even though it was short! We would love to come back knowing this is in the area we love to visit. Thank you!!

Tranquility hideaway

Perfect place for a vacation stay! Great atmosphere! Awesome little town! I would definitely book again! We accidentally didnt book enough days and the manager/owner was very nice and added the extra day we needed without hesitation! Thank you!

Very pleasant stay

We stayed here for a week and had an exceptional experience. The motel is tended by the owners who care about the property and their tenants. Everything we needed was cheerfully provided. We have dogs, and were able to walk them close by. Full kitchen, comfortable beds, TVs, upscale furnishings, washer and dryer available: thank you!

I absolutely love Safety Harbor Motel!!

Wonderful stay. What's the weather was more cooperative or overall my family and I enjoyed ourselves. We're lucky enough to be in town for the community 3rd Friday event, which was awesome. I've got two active kiddos (6 years old and 1 year old) the main Street is walkable and has access to both shopping, dining and parks. This is my second vacation safety harbor and anytime I come to Tampa Bay to visit family I will always make sure to book near main Street. Check in was easy, our room was absolutely perfect. My family and I thoughly enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely love this place. Short walk to great food and stores. Extremely accommodating and friendly management. Clean place with the cutest decor. My kids said they “could live here!” Thank you, your hard work in creating the space shows. Bravo!
