Perfect Beach Cottage

The house was very clean and comfortable with the perfect amount of space for our family. Having the pool close by was nice! Short drive to the beach. The property manager was very quick to respond!

~Summer Vacation with family~

We loved the location because it was very close to our family that lives on Sea Aire Canal. The house was clean and tidy. The only complaint is that there is no closets or dressers so you have to leave all your clothes in your suitcase. There is a place to hang clothes in the bathroom if you choose just make sure to bring hangers with you. Also be prepared to make your beds the sheets were layed out on the beds.

Please note in listing it says linens provided. It does not say beds are made upon arrival. Also hangers have been purchased . Since we are new to the rental market we are still learning .

Mixed feelings

Booked this house a few weeks ago, the listing advertised a pool, boat dock and fishing pier! My mother and I decided to bring our 4 grandchildren! Once we got to the house it is beautiful and clean plenty of space to sleep us all! But not as kid friendly as they advertised the kids were not able to use the pool that was one of the biggest reasons we choose this home,I am in a wheelchair so I needed this so I could easily get to the locations with the children! We messaged the property manager and was told these amenity are not available for renters! The kids were fascinated with the ring doorbell, as they have never seen something like it before. And they messaged to please have the kids stop pushing the doorbell! They didn’t understand that it’s not ringing in to the house that it’s calling someone’s phone! This is my last beach trip due to my fast declining health. And I just wanted to watch my grandkids have a good time. When we rented they said pool that's all the kids wanted to do was swim that's why we booked here we knew the neighborhood has a pool when we asked for code to pool we were informed that renters cannot use the pool boat dock or pier as advertised in may when we paid. We were never informed we couldn't use the pool or we would have cancelled. The kids are biracial .....makes me wonder not a biracial family in the neighborhood. We are asking for a part refund since they advertised a pool we were not allowed in ...

I am not exactly sure how to respond to this review other than to ask you to look at the other reviews that we have received that five star. Our HOA voted to change the rules for rental properties in our community and the pool Boat ramp and boat launch are no longer allowed to be used by short term rentals like Airbnb and VRBO. When we were notified of this, we immediately changed our listing taking these items off not sure when the guest looked at it the first time, but it took them several weeks to finally finalize their booking request due to credit card issues. I worked with them until they could make payment. I could post pictures but will not. All I will say is we lost two mattress pads, a set of sheets someone cut our table runner with a pair of scissors, and one of the guest apparently was confused and thought our front porch was a bathroom with the neighbor directly across from them. I’m very sorry to have to post things like this. I have never had this happen at any property that I have owned. We have a lovely home and enjoy sharing it with others.
