Need to getaway to one of the quietest and most relaxing beaches in North Carolina? There are public restrooms near 46th beach access and a Kiddie Water Park with Skateboard park on 49th. Enjoy this Family Friendly, 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Beach Cottage with a New Kitchen, outdoor shower, and Wrap-Around Screened in Porch with fans. Our kitchen feels like you are right at home with all the cookware, pots, pans, crockpot, blender, and spices. Includes Washer/Dryer/Iron/Hair Dryer/Keurig, and Coffee Maker. This updated Ranch Sleeps 7 and is only a 15 minute walk to the beach, Golf, Restaurants. Backs up to the Intra-Coastal Waterway Public Boat Launch. Only 10 minutes to Southport Ferry to Bald Head Island. Enjoy the quiet beach, fishing on the dock at the boat launch around the corner. Oak Island Golf Club is just a few miles down Oak Island Way or just relax on the screened porch. Fenced in Yard & Outdoor Shower. Maker/Pillows/Bedding except you'll You will NEED SHEETS King (1) Queen (2), twin (1), plus beach towels. Let us know if you are enjoying a special celebration so we can welcome you. WIFI/Internet/Smart TV & Spectrum Cable App. Included in LR and BR. Bring your family or a special friend weekend and enjoy "Island Time". Drive down Island Way to visit all the local shops, coffee house, brewery, pizza parlor, ice cream, and seafood restaurants. Beach Chairs and cooler are in the rear shed for your convenience. Bike and kayak rentals on island. Sorry, we do not allow pets at this time due to some allergies and concerns from our other guests.

We loved our stay, enjoyed the screend in porch, both morning and evening. Great house

My family and I loved our stay. The house is in a great, quiet location. Plenty of room for 6 of us. The screened in porch is perfect to enjoy in the evenings. I'm certain we'll be back again.

My stay

The community is very nice, and the house was very nice. But I will say there were no sheets on the beds and I was never notified to bring my own. They try to charge 35 for you to use their sheets they have in the closets.

We loved our stay here. The kitchen was wonderful and fully stocked with everything needed. Beds were very comfortable. We loved the screen in porch and it was only a 5 minute drive to the beach and shops. Parking is available at the beach for 5 an hour. The host was very quick to respond with any questions. Great place, would definitely recommend and are hoping to come back next year!

The Perfect House

I usually feel like I make a few sacrifices to stay at the beach. In this case there were none (unless you just need to be closer to the beach). The rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. The kitchen is amazing if you like to cook. The real gem of this house is the wrap around screened in porch. It was such a pleasure to stay in such a nice house with great space and great walkable views of the sound.

Family Vacation

We absolutely loved our stay at Oak Island. Jen was a fantastic host. She was helpful from day one of booking all the way up until our checkout. I had told her about how excited my two little boys were about going to the beach. Upon our arrival, we found toys laid out for our boys on the dining room table and a sweet message on vrbo from her about the beach toys! Our favorite thing about the house was definitely the porch. My husband and I both loved having our morning coffee and quiet time out there. Our boys always chose to eat out there any chance they could get. We had almost all of our meals out there! The house was clean, organized, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was a dream to cook in! I also really enjoyed using the gas grill on the back deck. The house was well stocked on pans, utensils, cups, plates, towels, and more. Jen provided sheets for us which was a blessing! Having a house with so many things provided helped make the stay that much better. It was the perfect house for our family vacation! Our family would definitely love to stay there again in the future.

Relaxing Vacation

The weather could have been a little better,due to the hurricane, however we made the best of it and overall a great vacation. Jen was great and answered any questions right away. She even offered and extra day for us to stay due to the weather.GREAT HOST!!!!

Relaxing beach getaway

W have had such a wonderful experience. The hosts were easy to communicate with both before and during our trip. It's a beautiful home, very clean and is just as advertised on the site. It has a huge wraparound porch where we spent a lot of our time and the outdoor fans kept it comfortable even in the heat. Our first time using vrbo and we are very happy we did.

Delightful Stay

Jen’s house on Oak Island is delightful. Wonderful use of the space. Easy quick drive to the 46th street parking and beach access. The beach is full of families and is very dog friendly. The house is also close to a small butterfly garden and access to a he intercostal byway. We had a small electrical problem and Jen responded and took care of it quickly. Highly recommend!

Cute and Cozy

We stayed here for our annual beach trip. House was close to everything in OKI and the beach! Kitchen was well equipped for our week long stay. We enjoyed sitting on the porch for dinner and games at night. Owners were very accommodating and quick to respond when we needed help! Would stay here again!!

Perfect family vacation

This property was great! We had 4 adults and 3 kids in our group and we all felt like we had plenty of space. We loved the wrap around screened in porch, the outdoor shower for after the beach, and the well stocked kitchen. The house is a quick drive to the beach, and is close to grocery stores, souvenir shops, ice cream, and many restaurants. The house was very comfortable and we enjoyed the time we were inside!

Small town paradise

Stayed week of 7/9/2022. An absolutely cute town to be in. Beaches, grocery stores, restaurants, within 5 mins of the house. The house itself has everything you need. Decorated with a nautical theme, full kitchen. Unfortunately we only had two days of sun. If I return back to NC I will be staying here again.

We are a family of 6 that bought this home to spend more quality time as a family. We love the warm & friendly atmosphere of Oak Island and enjoy spending time at the beach and eating at our favorite beach places like Pirates Deck, Pepperoni Grill, Lazy Turtle, and Oak Island Restaurant. After a fun day at the beach, we love the outdoor shower in the fenced-in back yard. Then we retreat to our screened in porch and listen to music by candlelight. We hope your family enjoys their ISLAND TIME here as much as we do.

If you are looking for a quiet get-away with family & friends, Oak Island is the beach for you! Just a 10 minute drive to Southport, Holden Beach, & the Ferry to Bald Head Island. Check out Wilmington for additional activities if you want some excursions as well.

You'll especially love the new kitchen upgraded with granite and new cabinets. The kitchen comes fully stocked with all of your spices, crock pot, dishes, pans, and cook ware. Bedrooms have cleaned comforters, extra pillows, and new comfy beds with a smart tv in one of the extra bedrooms. Living Room with new Smart HD TV so you can watch all your favorite shows. Walk to the pier behind the home to watch the sunset or drive down the end of island (the pointe) to look at all the pretty beach homes. Take a day trip to the aquarium or make your way over to Southport where several movies were filmed and enjoy dinner on the pier at Fishy Fishy. Make yourself at home during your vacation get-away!
