Beautiful Home on the Beach at the Jersey Shore

Indulge yourself with a fun filled vacation in an upscale Jersey Shore community of prestigious homes located directly on the beach. Walk across the dunes behind your home to set up your spot on the private, life guard protected Maryland Beach on the southern edge of Point Pleasant Beach and just 2 houses away from the northern edge of the distinguished town of Bay Head. In Bay Head, you will be sure to enjoy a morning walk, bike ride, or jog into town or along the very popular 2 mile stretch of East Avenue by the beach.
Later, you can take a short ride or walk to the north side of town to enjoy the rides, games, and amusements of the famous Jenkinson's Boardwalk. There is plenty of nightlife to be found there for a family of all ages. Later, take a ride into the quaint town of Point Pleasant to indulge in the delicious homemade ice cream at Hoffman's while you window shop your way through town.
If you want to venture beyond your secluded community for a day, you could take a short walk to the Bay Head Station where you could catch a train to Penn Station in the heart of NYC, where the city never sleeps. Or, take a 30 minute drive to Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey where you can take a ride through the largest drive thru Safari outside of Africa before entering the park filled with breathtaking shows and more than a dozen roller coasters, including the tallest in the world, the infamous Kingda Ka! There you can also find Hurricane Harbor, one of the largest water parks on the East Coast.
Daily fishing charters are also available at the Point Pleasant Inlet, or just take a stroll over the dune to try your luck at surf fishing, or actual surfing before or after the beach crowd arrives. Regardless of your fancy, there is something for everyone at this exclusive vacation spot in a home built to include your whole family. ENJOY!!

My family was in town for a graduation party and enjoyed staying at this beach house. Being the beach was fun and the house was spacious for 2 families.

Love This House

This property was the best ever...right on the beach...very peaceful listening to the ocean...the teenagers enjoyed the beach...not overly crowded....the sleeping area is downstairs and perfect for resting peacefully while others are upstairs chatting. Will definitely rent again. Very clean. Definitely perfect for a large group of people and parking is perfect...only downfall is finding the little driveway that leads to the house. All restaurants very close distance and a quick ride to seaside if you want. Neighbors were very friendly.

No Sheets or Towels

OUT of TOWN guests be aware! The host is not the most hospitable person she has been very short and not friendly. This is not a common practice specially for luxury rentals. The host did not communicate it during check in or any of the correspondence. They did give us a key to a closet that had some sheets and towels but they were dirty and dusty. The host also is not great with communication I would not stay here again. The only positive is the location and the property manager who was very kind but not the owner of the property which is the person you communicate with.

What a View!!!!

The home was spacious, clean and the ocean view from the main living level was absolutely stunning. It's the perfect location and it is a great time of year to rent. I high recommend this property.

while advertised as premium beachfront, relatively new property, and priced as such, the unit was poorly maintained, poorly cleaned, dirty, and smelly. Significant noticeable wear and tear, HVAC was functioning poorly, which significantly affected comfort and enjoyment of the stay.

Fabulous location, with small improvements weā€™d come back every year.

We had a wonderful stay on the beach. The house works well for a group. The bathrooms are nicely designed with extra sinks and doors allowing someone to shower while another uses the sink. Sherrie is VERY responsive and answered my questions immediately. My only negative, it is an expensive rental and should be better supplied and furnished. The kitchen needs better utensils etc and the bedrooms could easily be made more comfortable. Beds are good, but why not put a nightstand on both sides of king beds? House is great - itā€™s the details that should be improved.

Beautiful view but problems

Beautiful view from a great house. My family and I loved that part! There were problems from the beginning. There where 2 keys in lock box - one that did not fit any of the doors and the other one fit the front door only. When an issue developed with the only operating key the owner was contacted but was of no help. No way to contact Home Away and we were given no help in any way. Very disappointing that no one local could be contacted to address our concerns. Very poor customer support and that with our concerns made for the one star! When we arrived the pillows were on the porch chairs and damp. The kitchen sink was clogged and required a plugger and drano. The kitchen sink faucet was workable but very faulty. Clothes were left in the washing machine. The dish washer was fully loaded and had standing water in the bottom. Pots and pans were not appropriate for a family vacation with members who like to cook. Broken glass pieces were found in the sand immediately in front of the house, Lost power once and found only one box of matches with one match that did not work. Fortunately there were plenty of candles. During a bad storm the doors to the deck leaked into the great room. The internet connection was VERY slow and difficult for those who expected to do work while there. There were no speakers to play music. We did our best to enjoy our time together as a family but all these minor inconveniences made it unpleasant when all could have been handled by a competent handyperson! We will not be back.

Best Stay in Point Pleasant

A must see rental. I recently rented the property for an end of summer get together with 10 friends and relatives. All that stayed, had nothing but good things to say about the house. The place was immaculate and very well maintained. Plenty of room for all that stayed. With that kitchen, no need to order out, enough room to prepare large meals. Lots to do, all within walking distance. View of the ocean from the balcony was breathtaking, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. The owner of the house couldn't have been better, never failed to return a call expediently. If you are looking for a great place for a family and friends get-together, then look no further this is a dream vacation spot. I definitely plan on returning again and again. Cheryl, I can't thank you enough.

Wonderful Beach House

We had a group of 12 women stay for a long weekend in this beautiful Beach house. We commuted into NYC to see Radio City Music Halls Christmas spectacular and a brief tour of Lower Manhattan. We went into Bayhead to a fabulous bakery. We ate to much of course but, who can resist. The Beach house was great, with wide open spaces for all of us to congragate, eat, chat and play some games. Our rooms were comfortable and it was nice to have so many bathrooms with so many women.

Beautiful, Spacious, FUN!

We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation at this lovely home. It is beautiful, beachfront home in a private setting, with many amenities within walking distance or a short drive such as bars, restaurants, boardwalk and groceries. Spectacular views with a great open floor plan. This home provides plenty of room for family gatherings and meals, as well as cozy space for more intimate conversation. Upper level great room/kitchen and adjoining porch offer great panoramic ocean views. We look forward to our return visit in the future -- great fun!!
