Beachside home in the heart of Duck, NC and walkable to the ocean!

Having been raised by the beach my entire life, I've always dreamed of owning my own beach house and my sweet husband made that dream come true several years ago! This is our family's second beach home and we love it! We have a large multigenerational family (my husband and I, four grown children, 3 married w/5 littles between them). I've tried to put all of the things we loved about staying as a family at the beach over the past 40 years into this one home and added things I would have liked to have had as a convenience while staying such as paper products, linens on the beds, basics in the kitchen and an updated kitchen. It's the little things that make the stay more memorable such as riding beach bikes to the beach, walking to town for ice cream after supper, having new different books to read at the house, rocking chairs on the deck/porch, and not having to either bring or purchase a bunch of items just for the stay such as cleaning supplies, condiments, spices, etc. so I've added those here for our guests. Hopefully, you agree and enjoy staying here at the Gulls Nest. It's so central to everything in Town and oceanside.

Ocean Dunes, our neighborhood, is great! Great location to everything and special because at least half of our neighbors live here year-round and we have a community bond to keep the area mutually enjoyable. The Town of Duck is special because it is like staying in a small village town walkable to everything you need and has lots of things you can enjoy such as live music in the evenings at various outdoor bars and eateries and great sunset walks along the boardwalk that expands the entire length of the town.
