Beautiful log cabin on pristine Lake. All knotty pine interior. We feature a wet bar that seats nine over looking the lake, large open kitchen and living room. Full bathroom, two good size bedrooms with two queen size beds in each. Four satellite televisions, stero, cd player, DVD player and VCR. Large deck with plenty room to BBQ and relax. Excellent swimming right off the aluminum pier, large fire pit area with lots of room to sit after a busy day of fishing and swimming. The lake is very clean and great for fishihg walleyes, perch and big muskeys there is also good hunting in this entire area. We are located in the snow belt so in winter it snows almost every day. The home is located very close to the snowmobile trails that go for hundreds of miles both in Wisconsin and the UP. There is down hill and cross country sking and the ice fishing is fantastic.

This place truly has something for everyone in the family. We bring our friends with us for weekends and they just rave about the experiance. Presque Isle is a great place to relax, we have plenty of good resturants in the area and the people are some of the nicest we ever met. We would love to have you come on your next vacation. Cute cottage with a BEAUTIFUL lake, peaceful and quiet. Great location 2 local bars/restaurants with great food and service. The place could use a good cleaning (beds were clean so that was ok) no bath or hand towels so if you didn't bring towels that could be a problem. Mike was nice to work with and responds promptly.

Really nice, comfortable cabin

This cabin was exactly what I was looking for. Nice lake, no skiers, great deck, good beds, good pier, all the kitchen hardware you could need and just a cute, cozy atmosphere about the whole thing. If I had one negative thing to say it would be that the owner requires you take your garbage with you. I REALLY don’t like added requirements put on me after I get there. Put it in the listing.

We had a great time in this cabin! It is very nice inside and out - good beach for swimming, secluded and calm, great restaurant two minutes away (visited twice). There was good fishing, but you need a boat to get to the places. Also, cool waterfalls are just 50 minutes away, on Lake Superior in MI state. Beautiful nature, therexwes no rain at all.The only thing - the water may not be very good for drinking, so we got water on the gas station *also, 2 min away). Thank you.

Horsehead Lake

Great overall. Cabin was clean and cozy but a little heavy with furniture to navigate around. No toliet so thank gooodness I packed some and left a couple rola for the next guests. I’m convinced the giant tadpoles ate all the fish…not even a nibble. The hill going up to the cabin can be tough for someone with health issues. Big rocks along the shoreline makes it dificult to get in the water. Overall, it was a great stay with a nicely secluded can in the woods. My favorite part was the firepit.

Wonderful place to stay for a snowmobile trip

not really kid friendly

We had a nice time and the property was beautiful but was challenging with a toddler. Rough terrain so there wasn't anywhere she could play and the house has to much stuff it felt very conjested. It is super beautiful the view is amazing!

Lovely cabin, beautiful lake

We enjoyed the spaciousness of this cabin and the authentic "Up North" decor. Horse Head Lake is beautiful, and this was our first time staying on this lake. The cabin feels secluded, but it's just down the road from a great pub, gas station, convenience store, and the cute shops in Presque Isle. Our Host was very responses when I need to message him. Thanks for providing this great spot for us to introduce our grand kids to the North Woods!

Nice comfy cabin

NICE CLEAN CABIN IN THE WOODS VERY CUTELY DECORATED WEATHER WAS PERFECT FOR US .FISHING OK CAUGHT ALOT OF PERCH ENJOYED THE FIRE PIT. ONLY SUGGESTION IS THAT YOU BRING TOWELS CABIN DOES NOT INCLUDE BATHROOM TOWELS. WE DID NOT KNOW THAT. OTHERWISE A VERY NICE PLACE ON Lake in the woods.

Family Fun

It was a great place to stay I would rent it again except I wouldn't spend the money on a boat I called the DNR before I planed this they never told me when the water is down the lake has big piled of rocks/boulders which we hit some more that once WHICH is not the property owners fault the property owner was great and his home is very nice

fun place, tubing was great, not to clean,

owner is not around ,leaves cleaning the house to a woman in town ,we had problems and a few days of a septic smell around the house, with no help ,but the family stayed out side on the deck for most of the time, if fishing get a lake map!!!

Great Cabin

Beautiful property

My family had a wonderful time relaxing on this beautiful property. The cabin was spacious and very clean. We truly enjoyed the tranquility.

Better Than Expected

We loved this place. The pictures on line do not do it justice. It is so nice and homey inside. And the views of the lake were so beautiful. Our family (of 7) stayed here for a week and never felt crowded. Thanks for the memories

Great Stay

We had a wonderful time staying at this cottage for a weekend of snowmobiling. The house is a little further then anticipated from the trails; but we made it work. It was more like 1.5 miles from the trail. Overall, the house fit our needs. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We would consider staying again.

Horsehead Lake Retraet

Great cabin! Very clean and comfortable ,fully stocked with everything you would need. Nice clean quiet lake, north woods privacy with good dinning close by. We have stayed here several times and always had a wonderful time. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away to fish swim hunt snowmobile or just relax
