Welcome to Owls Nest Cabin Arrowbear. A peaceful mountain retreat ideal for family and friends.
Owls Nest Arrowbear is part of a cabin community with beautiful steep terrain, giant rock formations, and real country roads. This area is perfect for wildlife spotting and bird watching, with owls calling from the treetops. This mountain neighborhood offers great proximity to skiing, hiking,biking, and local lakes. Arrowbear received its name because it is located between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear. If you want to be in a peaceful retreat outside of the bustle of the larger communities, this is your place. The main floor offers a cozy living space with a traditional fireplace, also a 50" smart TV. Adjacent is the kitchen, Master Bedroom, 2nd bedroom, and bathroom with a shower. The Lower Level offers a second full Family Room with LCD Smart TV, Record Player, Work Desk, Second Bathroom, and Access to large back deck. The 3rd Bedroom is also located on the Lower-Level and features a unique Queen-Size bed with a Trundle Twin bed. This room is also where you will find the full-size laundry. We have a large balcony that you can access from the lower floor. The comfortable furniture will invite you to relax among the trees and enjoy the sounds of nature.
Owls nest is 2 miles from Running Springs, where you can find groceries, pizza, and a place to get last-minute skiing or hiking needs.
Snow Valley is less than 4 miles away, Green Valley lake is 5 miles away ( great place for your family beach and park) and Big Bear is 16 miles away...where there are many activities both winter and summer.
Many adventures await you here in the woods.
Please remember this a cabin and with it comes small idiosyncrasies that you might not have at home.

This cabin was so inviting, comfortable, beautifully designed and fully stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and communicative. Just a warning to anyone that might be coming up during a winter storm to carry chains, since the roads leading to the cabin become narrow and a bit steep.

Perfect getaway

Property was very cute and had everything we needed. The owners were super quick to respond to help us with the heater upon arrival. It was perfect for our family trip and the owners even sent activity ideas during our stay. It was perfect!

Adorable house

Great home for me and the kids Family room cozy as were the beds. Coffee was an added touch. If there’s any snow street/driveway would be challenging but thankfully not an issue while we were in town.

As soon as you enter, you can tell that there was great attention to details and giving each guest the feeling of being at home. The nest had everything you can think of from a coffee station to a record player and even the spices. They thought of everything.

Great place to stay.

This cabin was such a great place to stay for a weekend away for a party of four. The cabin's location is perfect because of the short distance to hiking trails, Lake Arrowbear, stores, and restaurants. The area felt safe and peaceful. The cabin inside is spotless, super clean, well-decorated, and neat. Well-equipped kitchen and bedrooms with additional pillows, blankets, and towels. High-quality beds and sheets made our stay comfortable. Thank you Regina and Lloyd for letting us tay in your amazing cabin. We had trully and amazing time.

Superb vacation home!

My husband and I cannot say enough good about this home. We stayed here for 3 nights with our 3 young adult sons. The home was very easy, meaning check-in was easy, the owners are super friendly and helpful, everything was labeled, extras of items needed, nice big table for games and dining. They even had coffee creamer and the plushest bath towels. It's located in a great, little quiet neighborhood. It was just what we needed. We played games, did puzzles, and watched movies. There are two separate living areas, so that was nice as at one point, we had two different type of movies being watched. Really nice back patio. The owners have thought of everything, nice touches throughout the home. We would love to stay here again!

Cute and tidy cottage with a great layout

We loved staying at Lloyd and Regina's darling place! It was so cute, nicely appointed, well organized and very clean. The towels and linens were soft, fresh and a good quality. The downstairs space was excellent for our teenagers to hang out, our son loved the record player with classic rock albums! The layout of the house was great for our family of four. The downstairs room sleeps at least three with a large three person trundle bed. The place could work for a family with a couple more kids, or even two small families, 4 upstairs and 3 downstairs. Check in was easy and check out was uncomplicated. The parking was a little tricky, so I would definitely only bring one vehicle. We parked our Honda Odyssey fairly easily, but that seemed to be all there was room for in the driveway. Two really little cars might fit. If there had been snow and ice we would have needed chains to get up the steep curvy driveway to the house for sure, our van scraped a little on the curve so I would not bring a low car. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay at their place again!

Lovely rustic-modern themed cabin

The hosts put a lot of thought and care into their lovely nest. Great attention to detail to guest needs such as wireless charging pads, blackout curtains, quality cookware/bakeware & very powerful gas stoves. Everything was well-labeled, organized & tidy. Guests had access to hi-speed wifi, Netflix, Prime, a wide selection of DVDs, record player, guitar & a variety of games. We liked that the upstairs/downstairs kinda felt like 2 separate cabins, which is really nice for 3 couples or 2 small families. Super comfortable king-sized bed, every bed had loads of firm luxurious pillows & the bathroom towels were so soft. Along w/ an electric tea kettle, coffee maker, french press, foaming wand & Keurig, they even provided a huge selection of quality teas, hot coco, coffee & snacks! If you have littles, believe me when I say these hosts have thought of everything: montessori toys, books, coloring books, a foldable crib, highchair, baby diningware & most importantly a BABY GATE for the stairs! It was convient that the walk-in shower was upstairs, very helpful for guests w/ limited mobility to get in/out of. Also, there's only 2 steps to the main entrance, the entire first floor/doorways are very accessible to use a wheelchair throughout. The Owl's Nest was a real gem for our family and the best VRBO/AirB&B experience we've ever booked. 2 nights is not enough, you really need to stay at least 3. A big thank you to the lovely hosts for going above and beyond in caring for us!
