Step inside and be captivated by the open-concept main level, where your gaze is drawn straight through to breathtaking Caribbean views. To the right, discover the first ensuite bedroom, followed by a cozy gathering area with a 75" flat screen, set opposite a ten-foot island that serves as a focal point in the kitchen. Adjacent is a grand dining table under two striking chandeliers, complemented by a convenient powder room.
The main level also features a spacious bedroom boasting pool and sea vistas, complete with an ensuite bathroom featuring a tub, shower, double vanity, and an additional outdoor shower. Ascend the staircase to the upper level and pass under a contemporary light with suspended crystal balls, adding a touch of elegance.

The second level offers a versatile space with a full-size ping pong table, flat screen TV, and a half-bath, perfect for both adults and kids alike. We had an amazing stay at The Golden Spot! The home is absolutely gorgeous and truly has everything you could want for a perfect vacation. From the pool and beach access to the kayaks, SUPs, hammocks, pier, and fishing, every detail made it easy to relax and enjoy our time. Having access to a private chef and housekeeping was the cherry on topā€”it felt like a luxury retreat.Placencia itself is a charming, small town that felt peaceful and never overcrowded, even during spring break. We loved exploring the area by golf cart and made several trips into town. Everywhere we went, we felt safe, and the food and people were wonderful.We would absolutely come back and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway!

All around amazing! The location, house, warm and hardworking staff, meals prepared by Juan were delicious, pool, beach, ocean toys, views, etc. was just as perfect as shown in the photos. Well equipped house and the suites were luxurious and comfortable. Loved the location, easy to drive from Belize City and had fun trips through Captain Jak's in Placencia while still relaxing and enjoying all the amenities The Golden Spot offers. Golf cart was fun and a couple people did use the bikes. The owner was very communicative and Belize is a true gem. Highly recommend this property and have already shared it to family and friends. Would love to plan a return trip to this VRBO which is first for this family that has stayed in many over the years. Thank you for sharing your home away from home - it is truly a special place!

The property was the best for the children. They had access to fishing, swimming, and kayaking all day. The owner provided excellent information on tours and activities. And, we loved the service of Juan (super chef), Kelly, and Marvin. We all highly recommend The Golden Spot.

Adult Family trip: Beautiful home and pool

Ten adults , family and friends, celebrating 60th birthdays and retirements. Beautiful home, great food prepared by chef Domingo, great fishing trips, perfect scuba diving trips, relaxing pool, pickleball courts close, corn hole, water volleyball games, massages outside listening to the waves, well we wanted for nothing. Beds and pillows were just right! All 5 rooms had king size beds and were suited. Ideal situation for our group. Great memories made! Highly suggest The Golden Spot in Belize for anyone looking for a fun filled, relaxing trip!

Gorgeous beachfront home

We had a marvelous day with delicious meals cooked by chef Juan. Kelly and Marvin took care of the house and all of our needs. Really enjoyed our visit. Only item of note is the distance from Placencia is further than we had expected, not really a golf cart right away, requiring more cabs than we had expected.

The perfect Caribbean vacation for the whole family!

What an incredible experience! The Golden Spot was the perfect destination for my familyā€™s Caribbean vacation. The private pool & beach, kayaks, paddle boards, staff (including a Chef!!) weā€™re all amazing. The complimentary golf cart made rides into the Village fun for the whole family. Beautifully decoratedā€¦ and friendly hostsā€¦. we canā€™t wait to go back again!

The best vacation ever

Everything about this property is superlative. Iā€™ve been staying in Vrbo listings for 20 years and this is the best of all of them. The house is beautiful and pristine. The beds are just like home. The kitchen is well-equipped. The pool and beach are perfection. Kelly, Marvin and Juan made us welcome and looked for ways to make our stay even better. We hope to come back very soon.

AMAZING

The house is so clean and beautiful, we had a great stay. Having the golf cart for the week made traveling into town and to the other resorts easy. We took a puddle jumper plane from the airport as that was the fastest option, itā€™s about a 30 minute plane ride and then 20 minute drive to the house from the airport in town. We did a few of the recommended excursions including the catamaran which was so relaxing and fun. Also took a boat out to King Leweyā€™s island which was also an amazing experience. Overall great stay!

OUTSTANDING LUXURY HOME

This house is even better than the pictures! It was amazing! We were greeted by the wonderful staff, Kelly, Marvin and chef Juan. They are so sweet and quickly became our friends. We did one snorkel trip then stayed at the house and enjoyed the golf cart, kayaks and paddle boards. There were so many spaces at the house and all very luxurious. We will for sure be back again!

Placencia thanksgiving vacation

We traveled with two families 4 adults and 3 kids, ages 8 to 11. The owner was incredibly helpful and nice and her on-site property managers took care of the house on a daily basis. The house was impeccable when we arrived and the service was as good as it gets. Chef juan was very nice and Skilled and even made us a few meals off of the menu. Sunrises from this location are incredible. The whole setting was very luxurious and relaxing. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, clean sheets, towels, etc. I would recommend this house to anyone who would like to visit Belize.

Wow, wow, wow!! So many great things to say about The Golden Spot that I donā€™t even know where to start! The photos donā€™t do the beauty of this place justice. Itā€™s even more beautiful and pristinely decorated and clean in person. Tiffany made the booking process so easy, her communication was so prompt, responsive and friendly. Itā€™s like talking to a friend! She checked in on us once we arrived and during our trip. Tiffany = 10/10. The amazing staff!! Kelly, Chef Juan made us feel right at home and took such great great care of us. If you are looking for a place to stay in Belize, stop looking and immediately book The Golden Spot!!

Gorgeous! Better than the pictures

We had an amazing time as the first guests at The Golden Spot. The house is incredibly comfortable and beautiful inside and out. We loved that every bedroom had a king-sized bed and its own bathroom. The house is very roomy for a large group, yet has many spaces to get away for a couple hours of solitude. The rest of the group was in the pool out back while I took a nap on the rooftop couch one afternoon. The Caribbean was like glass most mornings, so we enjoyed some paddle boarding and kayaking most days. You can literally toss a rock from the back deck into the oceanā€¦ itā€™s that close! And the staffā€¦ Kelly, Marvin and Juan (the chef) were so pleasant and helpful. The place was kept clean and the beach raked every morning. The food was delicious at the house. We did some meals at the house, but really enjoyed the nearby restaurantsā€¦ they were excellent. Thanks to the staff for making our stay and Tiffany for the helpful communication. We will definitely be back!

The Only Place to Stay in Belize

The Golden Spot made our entire vacation in Belize. From the ease of communicating with the owner, Tiffany, before our stay to our wonderful welcome by the staff to just being taken care of all week long, this place was top notch. Of course the Golden Spot is beautiful and spacious (we were two families of 5 with kids ranging from 11-18) enough for our entire group to find a spot to relax but what made this experience truly awesome was the staff. Juan, the chef, is amazing, and kind. Book him for meals (Tiffany has an awesome menu she will send you beforehand which is included in an all you need to know PDF booklet she sends you before you get to Belize.) Marvin keeps the property looking spectacular and even scaled a palm tree to get us fresh coconut water. Consuela kept our house clean and tidy and we couldn't be more grateful that we didn't have to do much on vacation except relax. Sean (owner) also happened to be in town during our stay and was so friendly and helpful too. I've rented a lot of properties over the past 25 years and this has to be one of my favorites. The property without question is stunning but what truly sets this place apart is the owners - Sean & Tiffany and then their incredible staff - Juan, Marvin & Consuela. They made our vacation with our family and good friends one we won't ever forget.

Paradise in Placencia

I canā€™t say enough good things about the Golden Spot. My stay at this gorgeous, perfectly located, spacious, well appointed villa was everything I had hoped for (except the sneaky no see-ums). The staff were amazing. Kelly, Marvin and Chef Juan were so lovely and responsive to all our requests and needs without ever feeling intrusive. And every meal was delicious and served on schedule without fail. My friends and I took full advantage of the kayaks, SUP, ping pong, cornhole, bikes and golf cart. While the village was a bit far for the golf cart, it was perfect for running to the local market and nearby restaurants. And the masseuse who came to the villa - wow! Siri (abbreviated name - sheā€™s a real person) is not to be missed. Tiffany the owner/property manager was fantastic to deal with. She was super responsive, provided tons of information and answered all my questions from pre-booking to day of arrival. Five stars all around for this gem of a (golden) spot.

Five Stars! Unforgettable Stay at The Golden Spot

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Golden Spot with three adult couples, it was exceptional! The property was immaculately clean, and not a single thing was out of place or in need of maintenance. The staff was incredibly warm and accommodating, truly going above and beyond because they wanted to, not because they had to. This included the house manager, maintenance team, and the chef, all of whom made our stay seamless and enjoyable. The chef deserves a special mentionā€”he prepared an incredible variety of dishes, and even cooked the fish we caught, which added a personal touch to our meals. Everything was fresh, healthy, and did not feel mass-produced. The beds were extremely comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of activities. The ownership was also a breeze to work withā€”responsive, helpful, and kind. The pool was crystal clear and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing. The ocean was just steps away from the back door, with stunningly clear water. We had an unforgettable experience watching dolphins, schools of fish, and even a manatee swim by, all from the comfort of the back porch! The property is conveniently situated near activities like snorkeling and fishing, which made for amazing day trips! We chose to drive the ~2 hours from Belize City on well-maintained roads without incident, and it was well worth it. Perfect in every way!
