Accommodation was great, private gated community with walking access to the Gulf of America.

With 22 people staying in one house I was a little nervous on how well we would all get along, but this house was perfect! There were plenty of places in and around the property for us to spend our time! The location is close to a lot of restaurants and shopping areas which was really handy and the beach was so easy to walk to.

I rated my AvantStay experience in Miramar Beach a 4 out of 10. Our family stayed September 4–7, 2026, and we did not have reliable hot water throughout nearly the entire stay. Hot showers were a basic expectation for our group, and the issue significantly affected our vacation.We also found pet hair in a common area, broken theater seating, and second-level furniture that needed cleaning or replacement. A boxed water heater outside the residence made me wonder whether there had been a hot water issue before our arrival, though I cannot say when it began.AvantStay communicated with me by text and reimbursed us about 22% of the cost of the stay. I appreciate that response. Still, I spent too much of our vacation dealing with maintenance concerns, and the overall experience fell well below my expectations.

The vacation home was very clean, spacious, and accommodating for our group of 10 ladies. Everyone had their own bedroom and private bathroom, which was perfect for our group. The layout provided plenty of space and privacy. The beach, stores, and outlet were all conveniently located and within walking distance. We also loved the beautiful pool and hot tub and enjoyed having the opportunity to use both during our stay.Major issue was the inoperable elevator. We specifically selected this property because of the elevator, as it was an important consideration for our group. Unfortunately, it was not working during our stay, which was a significant inconvenience, because several women in our group had difficulty climbing the stairs due to disabilities; particularly when carrying luggage and other items up and down the stairs. This was an huge disappointment and would have appreciated being notified before our arrival.This host was responsive through text/email, unfortunately the major issues I reported weren’t rectified during our stay.Overall, we enjoyed the home, its location, and the amenities. With a working elevator and hot water on all 3 floors, this would be an excellent vacation home for larger groups.

Work Retreat

We chose this location as there are 10 of us coworkers and this way we all had our own space and bathrooms. The home was perfect for our team meeting, catered dinner and watching the sunset together.

Great Trip

The house was in a great location directly next to the beach and very clean ! Plenty of rooms for the entire group and the theatre room was a huge hit . Communication via text was very easy and they were more than accommodating . There were a few items that needed to be repaired (couch leg, table top, trash can drawer etc) but we assumed it was because of back to back reservations with little downtime to address.
