The Tiltn Hiltn, a beautiful lakefront home is one of the closest locations to town for your convenience. Located on the ā€œquietest waterā€ of Big Creek on Norris Lake, when compared to other vacation rentals. Enjoy the covered porch to view the sunrise and sunset. This pristine home sleeps up to 24. Located on the lower level is a fully furnished family/entertainment room and a bedroom with 3 Queen over queen bunk beds. The upper level includes a master suite with King size bed and full bath overlooking the clear blue waters of Norris Lake. The second "couples" bedroom includes Queen size bed. The third bedroom upstairs includes 2 Queen over Queen bunks. All bedrooms upstairs include TVs. Utility room with washer and dryer. Full kitchen including all appliances and utensils required to prepare the feast at the end of a ā€œGreat Dayā€ on the water. A gas grill is also available for outdoor grilling. Swim/sundeck for your enjoyment on the water. There is also a hot tub available outside (let us know before your arrival if you plan on using the Hot Tub, we drain it out after every stay for health and cleanliness reasons).

Boat rentals are available with this home as we are adjacent to Whitman Hollow Marina. No launching, slip, docking, or trailer parking fees required at this prestige location. Enjoy live entertainment at Froggies Patio Bar along with your favorite cocktail.

Awesome place to stay and super close to the Whitman hollow marina which has great boat rentals! Only issue we had was appliance didnā€™t all work refrigerator down stairs was not running, microwave

Great location, right next to marina to rent pontoon, live music, restaurant, bar. Host and team very quick with answering questions and taking care of anything needed. 2 full refrigerator/freezers was very helpful. Ice maker on fridge didn't work, but host provided all the ice bags we wanted. For anyone going, staircase to water narrow. We got all of our coolers/swim mat down, but we had strong young men to help with that. Definitely would book again.

Rental Stay 6/11/25-6/15/25 Tiltn Hiltn LaFollette,Tn.

There were things that were broken, dirty and in disarray including a large hole in the ceiling. The pic with the cables on the floor was on the deck where the grilll was but had no furniture to sit out there. Review the photos attached. The downstairs bathroom had something that looked like vomit on the floor so it couldn't be used. There were no instructions for when we left the property.

Served its purpose

Will start with positives and end with downsides. The house was perfectly located, easy access to marina. That was a big plus with a big group, some could go down while others stayed up and you could just move about as you wanted while not being tied to one spot for the day. Stairs down to the water were plenty safe and being able to swim right there was great. The front porch was a great hangout spot. Plenty of bed space and living space!One downside is cleanliness related. Downstairs bathroom was disgusting, had gnats in the shower drain and the ants inside the kitchen were bad. Had to keep all food stored away and there wasn't much storage room for it. The bathrooms (besides downstairs) served there purpose but the water pressure wasn't great.

Multi generational family vacation

The house met our needs perfectly. It was equipped well, and we liked the location. However, the floor was filthy, the toilets looked like they hadnā€™t been cleaned and there were chips left from previous visitors under the table. Everything else was great, but definitely need to have someone better do the cleaning.

This house is right next to the Marina which is great since we rented a boat each day. The house was recently renovated which but there were some issues. I would stay here again though and everyone in our group agreed.

Great location for adult groups looking to unwind.

Our group had a fun stay at this VRBO. Great location next to the marina and bar (also owned by the renter). Likely a great spot for adult parties looking to enjoy the lake and atmosphere. Great staff at the marina/bar. Conditional issues were my only concern with the property. Not because they detracted from our stays enjoyment as much as they generated concern we may have been potentially blamed for them.

Norris 2024 friends and family

We had a great time at lake Norris. House was good. A few minor things needed repaired. (Toilet paper holders, fridge shelves and microwave handle). Not a big deal to us! Beds were comfy and had plenty of room for everyone. Kids loved the hot tub! We love being able to walk down to Froggies and the marina! I would stay here again

Lake trip with friends

The house was nice and big for a large group of people! Great location right next to the marina. The stairs to the dock were worn down and a little sketchy. We just rented a boat for the days we were there. The air did not work too well, but seemed to be getting fixed. We had a great trip and even enjoyed some live music and food at the marina!

Friends weekend

We had a great stay. We loved being close to Froggies patio bar and the marina since we rented a boat for one of the days during our stay. Our only complaints were the hot tub became very stinky the second day and the AC upstairs was not working properly. I did message the property manager about the AC issue and someone was there very quickly to try and fix the issue. Unfortunately, the AC never really was fixed so it was a bit uncomfortable upstairs due to the heat.there was also a lot of left over trash going down the hill to the dock, but Overall, a pleasant stay.

House Nice

The house was nice. The stairs to the rock wall to the floating dock were a bit scary. I did not realize when booking that the floating dock was not connected to the stairs. Do you have to climb over some rocks to get there so if youā€™re not young and athletic, donā€™t plan on going to the dock.

Close To Marina

Property was steps away from the Marina, which was great for our large group to get to for a boat rental and dinner at Froggies Bar. Home was large and spacious. The dock is not the most easily accessible. You have to go down rocks and then jump over to it. We did encounter cleanliness and Maintenance issues that should have been addressed prior to a guest check in. It was handled finally during the stay though. If youā€™re looking for a place to hold a lot of people and use the marina this is convenient. I would not recommend for a stay where youā€™re wanting to sit around in the home and use the dock.

Weekend trip

Not the greatest stay we have ever had. We ran into quite a few issues. Trash was left at the property, things were already broke, and the swim dock was very unsafe getting to. Had to jump across to it after getting to it by rocks. My mom fell getting to it. Very unsafe, it needed stairs to the dock. Listing did not specify thatā€¦ Did not get a key for the house to lock it when we left until the last day. Overall it was okay but not the best trip. A lot of issues.. not very happy about the stay. But the location was beautiful!

Tiltn into Summer

The home has been beautifully remodled. 3 bedrooms upstairs plus bunkroom and downstaurs teenagers had all to theirselves with ouw lounging area that goes out to covered pirch and hot tub over looking lake and marina. You have own dock and swimming ( floating for me) area the kiddos loved. Close enough to marina to enjoy all the music. Great food there, we had burgers, po'boys and salads. We rented paddleboards. Close enough to let teenagers walk around as good lighting and can see everything from this lication. Kids would swing at marina late hours on front porch ..Great time. Its a golf cart, side by side area so bring your toy. Boat launch 1/2 block prior to house. Perfect location, short walk to house. Now the downfalls cause you gotta have them right? No pot holders and old school Mr Coffeemaker ( i love but im classic) teenagers love their Pods.. We travel, we travel ALOT and the grandkids have already asked to stay here again So Whittman Marina and Bhavin we shall see you again. Awesome start of Summer with birthday and fathers day at the Tiltn Hiltn.

The other poor reviews are absolutely accurate

Iā€™m right now washing everything because Iā€™m concerned about bedbugs as the place was so beyond dirty. We thought we had the wrong house because there was trash laying on the patio, the trash cans were overflowing in the driveway, there was a washer and dryer on the patio and one on the other side of the trash, there were stains all over the floors and walls, there was a napkin and qtip under the master bed. The tv and WiFi worked 1 time. The place is not at all like the picture. There were 10 vacuum cleaners in the corner when you walked in, every bathroom toilet paper holder was broken, the shower curtain was full of mold. And we spent $350 on a cleaning fee???? The place is DIRTY! We wore our shoes and looked away because we were concerned about the cleaning crew coming in while we were gone. I sent a complaint as I was leaving yesterday and still no response and also called, still no response. The bad reviews are all true.

Leftover garbage, hot tub, not ready many safety hazards

Upon checking in trash cans outside weā€™re still full from last family. Hot tub had not been cleaned. No safety railings inside house as you were going up and down the steps, a mildew odor in the basement bedroom bunk room. And the steps outside going down to the dock on the water covered in poison ivy, unsafe and worst of all did not go all the way down to the dock. As most people would be wearing flip-flops to get on a boat. I never dreamed the steps did not go all the way to the dock. The only thing you had to step on, were huge boulder rocks very slippery. If my son-in-law had not caught me I wouldā€™ve been hurt bad. We stopped in the marina and asked if someone could service the hot tub. No one showed up the first day the second day I inquired again a young kid named Isaiah went up, took the lid off of the drainer for the hot tub and took the lid with him so the hot tub could not be refilled without the cap. The third day I went back to the marina and asked if they were ever going to clean the hot tub. Isaiah left did not tell anyone he did not finish the job. He said that should be obvious and I should watch the way I was talking to him. When itā€™s 4 oā€™clock heā€™s done he goes home. I simply asked why didnā€™t you inform the crew that you had not finished your job he said that they shouldā€™ve now we will never be back to this property again. Poor management, and extremely lazy help
