The home sits on a secluded, no-wake cove close by to Sugar Hollow and Shanghai marinas. With 8 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, this home can accommodate your extended family for a special vacation, sleeping up to 26. The fully equipped kitchen, outdoor dining areas, fire pit, hot tub, and private/covered dock for your boat and water toys will ensure everyone has a great time. Located in gated Lakeside Estates, your stay will also give you access to the community pool, private boat ramp, walking trails, boat trailer parking, and city water. A short boat ride or drive away are several golf courses. Enjoy the view from one of the three decks on this no-wake cove home on beautiful Norris Lake.

A Great Place to Stay

Our family has been vacationing at Norris Lake for over 10 years and this house was probably one of the best. A well stocked kitchen with double ovens, refrigerators and dishwashers and plenty of cooking utensils, pots and pans and dishes. Very comfortable and 8 bedrooms.

Family vacation

There were 21 of us in this house, ages 1-49. We loved the location, the quiet cove with easy access to the jumping bridge. This house had plenty of space for us all and many options for entertainment. When there were issues with the microwave and the grill, the owner replaced them both quickly. We would stay here again.

We really enjoyed the house. The stairs were steep and hard for older members so we just met them at the closest marina. Not a dig, just FYI. We had to get two boats, due to size of group and the dock accommodated nicely. It was a peaceful cove, with kayaks and water trampoline, which provided a lot of fun.

it was beautiful, peaceful, clean, family friendly, stocked with needed items, owners very responsive. the driveway was easy to get to. big enough for lots of people to stay. I would stay there again.

Everything about this property exceeded expectations. Location (in a quiet cove close enough to the jumping bridge but not too close to be noisy), property itself (tons of space, clean, plus games and activities), and customer service (hosts were communicative and easy to work with). Would absolutely stay here again

Annual Norris Trip

The location and house were fantastic for our large group! We had a wonderful time. Plenty of space and we loved the private dock. The only complaint is the beds need new mattresses and the furniture was pretty worn.

Waterfront home

The house was big enough for our group of 10 adults and 3 children. The kitchen had everything you need and more. The 2 fridges came in handy to have a fridge of just drinks. We spent most of our time on the back deck, dock and boats. We were a little bummed that the community pool wasn't up and running and looks like it hadn't in quite some time. And the steps.... so many steps. Thanks for a great week.

Expectstions

Floor plan and room set up met or exceeded our needs. Double oven and dual dishwashers were an added plus. One of the nicest rentals we've experienced.

A new favorite!

Our family of 3 generations had a great week despite being caught out on boats in a storm and returning to find out the power had gone out. What a fun adventure that we will always remember. The host was great and we loved the house and the lake. We are ranking this #1 best

Great Week

House is a great setup with so many bedrooms. Dock is solid with a roof and there are not too many steps. We'd use the property again! it was a fun week. Management was very attentive to any issues that popped up.

We had a great time. The 100 steps were ALOT!!

Plenty of room for our group of 17. you need new pots and pans. I'm 62 years old and from the deck to our room there were 114 steps. We rented a pontoon and had a lot of fun.

Good house for large groups

Location was great. House was clean and dock worked out well for multiple boats. Overflow/trailer parking is not very convenient but for only having to use the boat ramp to load/unload once, it wasn’t a major inconvenience. We had 10 adults and 13 kids from 3months up to 10 years and the house was perfect for everyone. The kids loved the water trampoline

A great time at the lake

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week at the lake and there was plenty of space for our group of 21. We brought 2 boats, a paddle board, kayak, and tons of inflatables, and had a great week playing in the water. We cooked every meal at the house and that worked out well too. I believe the kitchen and main living area is actually more spacious than it appears in the photos. Some of the mattresses are ready to be replaced, but otherwise, we found the house to be a great place to gather as an extended family.

Dated house at good spot on lake

Pros: The house is located at a perfect boating location just inside the No Wake Zone by the jumping bridge. Dock is on a private cove which is shared by another dock and very close in proximity. Every floor (3 floors) had a seating area with a TV. Kitchen well stocked and grill was the cleanest I’ve ever seen at a VRBO. Great views from the deck on each level. Cons: Be prepared to walk a lot of stairs. Mattresses and couches were pretty worn and badly need replaced. Deck needs some work due to soft rotting boards. No access to dock area without walking through the house. Overall a great location but needs some work.

Not worth the money and it is uncomfortable

This is overpriced because it cannot accommodate more than six people comfortably. The ad stated it could sleep 15 (?) people, but the bathrooms are tiny and sharing bathrooms for that many people is very difficult. There is room for about 7 people to have dinner together. The ad for this property stated there was a gym available; that was a complete lie (and one of the major reasons we selected this property was for free gym access). The major fan in the living/dining/kitchen area did not work, which meant you had to turn the AC down to feel comfortable. Both gas tanks for the grill were empty, ruining a dinner.

Great location, missing hot tub.

We hosted 16 friends for Memorial weekend and the location was great and house had pretty much everything we needed! Just a couple disclaimers to share for future guests: hot tub didn’t work and this was not told to us until we checked in. We were really looking forward to this since we have some health issues and don’t have one at our house. Upon looking at the hot tub when we got there, there was no water and were leaves from the Fall in it so it just seemed it had been out of commission for a while. We would have booked another place had we known this ahead of time so that was a bummer. The other thing is beware of the boat dock at Sugar Hallow. Definitely difficult to put bigger boats in but is nothing to do with the house. Thanks!!

Overall okay.

Upon arrival and unloading we found a dead mouse on a glue trap right on the kitchen floor. There was mouse droppings throughout the house and 2 days into our stay a live mouse was running through the cabin. There were dirty clothes left in the dressers of 2 bedrooms. There was quite a bit of dust. The cabin has actually been updated and is nice, however the pictures showed 2 refrigerators and there is now only one. 17 people under one roof needs more than one. The temperature was very hard to regulate, but not terrible considering how the cabin is set up. The beds were comfortable in most of the rooms. Communication with management company was good. The cabin has a very steep driveway so if have a larger vehicle its tight. The views were beautiful and it wasnt too far from grocery stores. Its roughly 2 hours from Gatlinburg. All of my major concerns were brought to the management and they were polite with their response. Given these issues i would stay again, it was worth it for the price.

It was great!

The property is well maintained and clean. This is one of the few cabins we have been in that had enough of everything. Towels, and they are the big thick towels, too, pots, pans, plates, glasses, cups, dishcloths and dish towels. It is rare that there are actually enough dish towels to be able to dry some dishes with them. Some of the furniture is a little older, but that is great. All the couches and chairs are extremely comfortable and you could take a nap on if you wanted. It is really good quality furniture. The table in the eating area is great. The benches are comfortable and heavy, and the table is really big.. The only thing I would personally want changed, was to have a cover and swing on the 1st floor deck. The 2nd deck has both. But I had to have a hip replaced and then a broken knee on top of that, and its often hard for me to climb stairs, so they always put me on the 1st floor where I can be the 1st one up to fix the huge breakfast they like, and in the morning when I go out, before anyone else is awake, to drink my coffee, I would love a covered deck and a swing.(Just saying). The property is well maintained, and the owners are extremely nice and informative. there were people there ranging from age 2 to 70. Six teenage boys, and other guys in their 20's that think they are still teenagers. When you get a 17 year old guy that says he liked the cabin and has no complaints, that is a win-win. We put the guys on the very bottom floor, and it worked perfectly for them and US. The property is easy to access and the location is convenient to quite a few stores, if needed. I didn't use the fire pit personally, but the guys did, and they enjoyed it a lot. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cabin, and I hope to be able to rent again in the future. Janie Davis

Good Company

We were overall pleased with the house. There were some minor things that need improvement but it was spacious enough for our whole family. Some of the descriptions of the rooms didn’t match but everything worked out.
