This A-frame cabin in the woods comfortably accommodates 6 people. It features a spacious open living area, rustic charm, large windows, cozy bedrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen for a serene and enjoyable retreat. Not to mention, lake access through the Sky Valley community!!

Our cabin offers a charming retreat for those seeking a peaceful getaway. With its rustic ambiance and proximity to the lake, golf courses, the Wisp Resort, and other surrounding attractions, our cabin provides a perfect escape for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Whether you're looking to relax by the fireplace, hike the nearby trails, fish, or simply unwind on the deck surrounded by nature, our cabin offers a warm and inviting atmosphere for a truly unforgettable experience!

Guest access
You will be able to access all the Sky Valley Amenities including the beach, boat ramp, basketball courts, and fishing ponds.
The cabin includes a firepit and a large front porch for those that love to live in the outdoors.
A boat slip is not available at this time, however the property is large enough to park a boat. Four wheel drive is recommended in the winter season.

Great cabin in a great location. Came for spring break with the kids. We hiked, we fished, we relaxed in the hammock, we had a fire. This place is lovely! 10 out of 10 - will come back again!

The bungalow is wonderful; very clean, quaint, near town. Beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water for the shower. It has everything you need. The only point to note is the upstairs shower is tight to access. Very tall, large people will have difficulty entering the shower doorway. Once inside, the shower is full-sized.

Lovely Bungalow Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and location of Blue Sky! Lake access in the community was a real plus and proximity to Oakland, McHenry and DCL State Park was terrific. Highly recommend!

The Kitchen was very will stocked. Only found one dish towel, but I may have not looked in the right place.Bedroom perfect. House is older, but that was no problem. Our dog, Bernie, non-shedding, accompanied us. Small hand vacuum didn't seem to operate.It had been snowing and it was good to have salt already spread on the deck and steps. Nice neighborhood for walking.

Cute and cozy stay

We stayed here for a quick two days, wish we could have stayed longer! Everything was great. Quick communication, clean, nice amenities, and loved that it was pet friendly. Our whole family really enjoyed our stay!

Girls Weekend Getaway

Nestled into the woods, access to lake and a short drive to town. Perfect location to everything. It was a lovely place to go for our yearly girls trip. Would definitely stay here again.

Great cabin in deep Creek

This is a great cabin. Kids loved the loft area. Comfortable beds and furniture. A lot of nice touches including Keurig with pods, shampoo dispensers in showers, and a well stocked kitchen. Would definitely come back.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. Beautiful and clean accommodations and very receptive owners. i highly recommend. It is a very peaceful and tranquil setting.

Pros: comfortable beds, kitchen fully stocked, games available. Location was convenient and within 20-25 minutes of most activities. Very quiet setting. Cons: no shovel (we had six inches of snow) - There was not a poker for the fireplace. The kitchen was small for a group of people. It was crowded with two people cooking. More seating needed in living room for 5 adults. There was one sofa (two seats) and 2 chairs. firewood was laying on the ground outside (wet) and not stacked so we had to buy three bundles of wood. Overall, it was a nice cabin to spend the partial week and New Years Eve. The upstairs room was nice for privacy. The two downstairs rooms were comfortable.

Thanks for your stay! The new firewood was just dropped off, there was dry wood covered next to the shed. The shovel was in the closet! I’m great at communicating with the guests when they have questions where things are or if they need anything. Next time just ask me!:) happy new year!
