This dog-friendly new construction retreat is the perfect getaway for those seeking a peaceful, relaxing vacation, right in the heart of Deep Creek Lake.Ā 

The cottage features modern amenities and thoughtful touches, offering a full sized bathroom, kitchen and living room with vaulted ceilings and a loft bedroom with an adjustable Simmons BeautyRest pillow top bed. The open-concept design allows for plenty of natural light to flood the space, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance.

Step outside onto the private deck and take in the picturesque vista of the glistening lake and wooded landscape. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee or stargazing at night beside the fire pit, The Tiny House at Deep Creek Lake offers privacy and convenience.

Located across the road from the lake and all its amenities, this cottage is an ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers, foodies or those looking to hunker down and unwind.Ā  Enjoy swimming, fishing or boating at the public access spot a short stroll down Lake Shore Drive. Skiing or snowboarding at the WISP is a short five minute drive. Head around the corner to Deep Creek Lake State Park for a leisurely walk along the shore or spend the day with your toes in the sand at the beach. For those seeking adventure, the area offers hiking and mountain biking trails and water activities to satisfy your sense of exploration.

The Details:

New Construction, just under 500 square feet, featuring a full kitchen and bath. Open floor plan living room that spills out onto a side porch with back patio and firepit. Sleeps 2-4. A loft bedroom with a full size adjustable pillow top Simmons BeautyRest bed and lake views. The living room couch pulls out into a full sized bed, tucked away for your convenience is a memory foam mattress topper for a lush and comfortable night's sleep. Lots of green space with ample parking, patio with grill, fire pit. WiFi, flatscreen t.v., record player, all of the essentials. Plenty of room for your family or pups to run around. Oh, and the location is unbeatable!

This tiny/cozy house is perfect for a couples getaway. Althought the top bedroom area was a bit clastrophobic for me, my girlfriend enjoyed it. This is an awesome cozy cabin.

The host, Jeff was exceptionally proactive in communicating. The house is exactly as pictured and described. Even better than expected in person.The house had beautiful Christmas decorations and a very nice welcome basket. We traveled with two small dogs and there was room in the loft for their little beds. Carrying the puppies up and down the stairs was necessary due to steepness but that was expected. Just something to consider if thatā€™s not your thing. Overall positive experience!

This was a fantastic tiny home that worked well for 2 of us for a long weekend in October. The inside of the home was cozy, with full size fridge, stove, and shower - slightly bigger than you'd expect for a tiny home actually, we were pleasantly surprised! But the real gem was the outside of the property, a fire pit setup, 2 hammocks to relax in, picnic tables and chairs on the deck to hang out at, and of course the hot tub was awesome. The home isn't directly on the lake, but still very close and with some indirect lake views, and close enough to get to several access points pretty quickly. The owners include great recommendations in their guidebook, and also provide a Maryland state park pass for free use, which is handy when visiting local parks for hiking, or the deep creek lake state park for lake access to beaches, boating, etc. We found the house to be very close to lots of great restaurants and bars like Firewater and Honi Honi - and try Brenda's pizza shop, we got takeout from there that was great! It was also only a short drive away from great hiking spots like the rock maze and the muddy creek falls! Overall we loved the rental, the lake, and the whole experience...can't wait to come back again!

Cute tiny home with plenty of space in the kitchen and living room for two people. The house is very centrally located so it was no more than 15 mins to get anywhere we wanted to go. I particularly enjoyed the fire pit out back!

Loved the Tiny House! We celebrated our Anniversary at Dutchā€™s and our Golden Retriever loved the dog beach at the State Park. The owners really thought of everything to make you feel right at home.

Our first time in a tiny home. If you have bad knees you may want to rethink this property Centrally located! We enjoyed the fire pit, the hot tub, the Adirondack chairs. I would recommend this home for adults with young knees! I was hoping to see more of the lake. The construction equipment next door was a put off, but we were out and about most of the time. We rented a pontoon boat for a day then did a lot of hiking the other days.

Prefect Get away!!

We had an amazing getaway at the Tiny House visiting from Washington, D.C. area for a couple of days. The property manager was easy to reach and made the check-in process seamless. When we first arrived, the place was a bit warm, likely due to the time of day, but it cooled down by the evening. The manager provided excellent recommendations for activities, including hiking, dining options, and a beach area for us and our dogs. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again!

The tiny house was 100% as advertised. It was clean, the host was very responsive, and the location was perfect. This is an ideal weekend getaway house for a couple or small family. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in Deep Creek!

Great getaway

My wife and I went on a trip to hike several trails around Garrett County and the house was a perfect location for our trip. We enjoyed the hot tub after our hikes.

Fantastic Little Getaway

We had such a nice stay at the tiny house! The inside was adorable and the location is perfect. The views were beautiful and there were lots of hiking trails and delicious food nearby. We definitely plan to come back for another stay soon!

Quaint Tiny home

We stayed for a few days , first time in a tiny home !The home was well laid out , living room was comfy , kitchen well stocked , and location was perfect. Owner was very responsive and gave perfect tips prior to the trip! The coffee bar was delicious and also offered a nice bottle of wine . They thought of everything! The only downfall that I could see and itā€™s only due to our age the sleeping quarters in the loft is very small , some one younger or kids would love it! We enjoyed ourselves immensely!

Couple's Weekend at the Tiny House

First, the stay was too short! Deep Creek, any time of year is incredible. Boat/Ski/Swim in the summer, ski/skate/sled in the winter, not to mention the great surroundings. The Tiny House is perfect for someone to get away. Jeff and the fam go the extra mile to make things super nice. To the luxurious Nespresso coffee, and snacks, to spring water and a hot tub to warm the heart and melt the cares away. House is not that tiny, actually. It is very comfy for a couple. Super clean and well kept. The only thing to be aware of is the few steps to the loft bed are steep and the shower head is a bit low, but you expect those kinds of things with a Tiny House. The bed was excellent, best sleep my wife and I had in months. The owners have thought of everything you need for your stay. All you need is your clothes, essential toiletries, and food. Everything else is taken care of!

Deep Creek Tiny House

We had a wonderful stay at this little house. The lake views were beautiful and it was located close to everything we wanted to check out. The hottub and record player were added bonus's during our snowy weekend. Definetly reccommend!
