This lovely rental is a 1-bed, 2-bath villa in Palmetto Dunes. Beautifully decorated to include tile flooring and granite countertops, this is one of our Hilton Head villa rentals that will win you over. Windows overlook the swimming pool, ocean, and landscaped grounds, while palmetto trees frame the dunes and manicured pathways. Spend your days on the beach, by the *pool and outdoor spa, or grill on the barbecue. You can relax while your kids swim in the children's pool. The best part is you may never get in your car.

**THE ELEVATOR WILL BE DOWN FROM OCTOBER 27, 2025 - until sometime in 2026. Work will be done Monday through Thursday, 10 hours each day, until completed.

***WINDOW AND DOOR REPLACEMENT PROJECT TO BEGIN 11/18/25 - April 2026. Each wave will take approximately 4-6 weeks to complete. Scaffolding will only be used on the parking lot side of building and man lifts will be used on the ocean side.
6304 Hampton Place is in Wave 2 and tentatively scheduled to begin 1/2/26. Please inquire with any questions.

The property was very nice overall. They were doing maintenance on the elevator which we were told about shortly after booking. It was not an issue but as much as we were in and out it would have been even better if the elevator was working. The condo was very nice. We really appreciated the spaciousness and the views. Itā€™s a beautiful place and we really enjoyed staying there. One thing of note: the vertical blinds on the sliding patio door did not function well when we got there. They need some attention. We really appreciated that everything else in the unit seemed to be up to date and nicely done.

Need improvement

Master bath needs repair, leaks water under door and shower floor needs work, appears a make shift job was done though needs real repair. Please purchase new chairs on balcony. They are super uncomfortable. Great view and love to sit outside and enjoy ocean. Please purchase better chairs with table so you can eat outside. The size of the unit is perfect for a couple, plenty of room. Address those two things and I would give 5 stars.

Great vacation

This was our first vacation to Hilton Head but it won't be our last. The rental was exactly as advertised. The location was great... so close to the beach and everything else we wanted. The unit did have a smell and the showers could have used more TLC but we otherwise really enjoyed staying there.

Great Location

This is a great property with wonderful views of the ocean and pool area from the large windows. There is easy beach access and the resort is in close proximity to many restaurants and shopping areas. Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina is about a 6 min drive. The furniture in the condo was very nice and clean, however the carpet was stained. The large bathroom with double sinks is a plus. Palmetto Dunes has 3 great resort golf courses with public access.

Wonderful beach nice property. Decent place to stay

6304 had a moldy smell when we first entered the unit. It eventually subsided. We found a cockaroach in our bed one night and the dishwasher rack was rusty. Amenities otherwise were comfortable, pool and beach access were great. Had a great time overall. Probably try somewhere else next time due to the cleanliness.

Overall our stay was near perfect at Hampton Place. The condo was really good and laid out well, everything that we needed was there. We have always stayed oceanfront, but we really enjoyed the view from the balcony. Speaking of the balcony is where Iā€™m giving it four stars, I know it showed in the pictures the 2 Adirondack chairs, but they were the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sit in. If the condo had a high top table and chairs, I would consider it almost perfect. Besides the chairs being uncomfortable who wants to see the beautiful view through the balcony railings.

We were looking forward to a nice, quiet get away. There was a lot of maintenance ( hammering, sawing, slamming things around) going on while we were there. We were also disappointed the pool heater was not working so we were unable to use the pool or hot tub.

July beachweek

We had a delightful trip to palmetto dunes with no cares or worries. There was only a small problem with the air conditioner setting that was easily and quickly solved by a prompt visit by Conner from the management company. All the appliances worked (Keurig and drip coffee maker), 2 showers made cleaning up from the beach quick and uncontested ( no tub), and the bed was comfortable. We spent the majority of our time outdoors and the Adirondack chairs on the patio were very serviceable to sit and enjoy the evenings or snack outside ( not suitable for a full Al fresco dinner). We loved our effortless week at Palmetto Dunes

Nearly Perfect Week Away

The property was great for just the two of us. The condo is nicely appointed and very conveniently located with great views. I really enjoyed the vacation rentals that accompanied the booking. This property is managed seamlessly. The only negative we have is that the televisions were less than optimal. We could not get audio in the bedroom and the living room system operated very slowly when using apps, and very limited channels available. Overall, highly satisfied and would definitely book again!

Perfect location

The condo was in a perfect location; very close to the beach and at a quieter end of Palmetto Dunes. All neccessities were provided by the owner. February was too chilly to enjoy the pools, but the pool side deck was available to enjoy the sun. Gas grills were available and very clean. Our only suggestion is that the living room carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced. There are a lot of stains from spilled beverages. The building maintenance people were very efficient and the facilities were spotless. We will be back next year.

Long-Term Rental

Overall good experience, with just a little hiccup with check-in. Property was in good condition. Dryer vent was unhooked when we did our first load of laundry. We pulled the u it out and fixed it, Neighboring unitā€™s alarm went off for 2 hrs the first two mornings, starting at 6 AM. Thankfully, property management company was able to fix that. Microwave vent fell to the floor when we opened the microwave. Property management company ordered new part and fixed. They came in another time to change furnace filter. Loved the south facing deck for winter warmth. Bed was not comfortable, as mentioned in another review. It was some better once we rotated the mattress, but I would recommend replacing. Had to change the battery in the smoke alarm due to chirping.

Nice place to stay, communication needs work

The location to beach was great. Facility seemed a little older based on pool condition and elevator issues. Walkway to beach we well maintained. We had some hiccups right from the gate. The property manager does not communicate timely through VRBO but instead emailed a link to another site. I donā€™t feel this should be allowed. If you are listing a property through VRBO all my info should be found there. I was searching in my email for what I needed to access the property. I had to ask for codes for pool. The elevator was out when we arrived after it had just been fixed. I understand this is a property issue, but none the less no one from this condo followed up or gave me a phone call back even after I asked twice for such thing to happen. The shower leaked water all over the floor making it a huge fall risk even with a rug. There was mold on the wall and all along the grout and caulking. The rest of the place was fine. Bed was comfortable, sheets low quality. We had issue with no hot water the first night but was fine after that. (Unit has own hot water heater). There were linens provided for pull out bed although we had to search for them, this info was not included inside the condo or in any email communication. Carpet is as carpet does in a beach condo, felt damp and filmy. We left with all of our clothes feeling damp, which had not happened with any of our other beach stays. The kitchen was nice. Enjoyed our time, although,will Not stay with this vacation company again.
