Slaughter Beach Renovated 2023 Wonderful Views Beach Front, Fenced area for Pets

Delightful small beach house. Second year as a rental, lovely updates to entire house, comfortable furnishings and Bay views for miles! Fenced area for dogs.
We are Premier Hosts with other Vrbo properties here. Relax and enjoy the 14 miles or so open water of the Delaware Bay out your windows. Waterfront deck with picnic table with lots of seating. Watch the ships at night anchored out in the Bay with their lights on. Enjoy the balmy breezes.

So you know, we do not furnish sheets and towels but have them available as rentals. Also, we have a pet fee of $100 per pet and we have an enclosed area with 3 foot high fencing for them to do their business. We have dogs as members of our family. If you plan to bring a boat we would appreciate it if it is
on the smaller size as we just had another layer of gravel put on our driveway and heavy vehicles don't do well..

We have three properties here. A 4 bedroom house in Prime Hook Beach across the street from Delaware Bay with a fenced in yard and has a king size bed in one bedroom, VRBO 390480, a 3 bedroom house in Slaughter Beach across the street from the Bay with a king bed in one bedroom, VRBO 4486647 and this house.

The sky views all around were exceptional! Watched the sun set behind us, watched the full moon rise from the bay, and then the sunrise the next morning. A quiet & peaceful stay. The house was perfect. About a 20 minute ride to big towns, but you feel as though you are in n the middle of nowhere. The house is very clean and has all the ameneties you would need for your stay!

Awesome location and very nice house. Ron was very helpful. Many extras such as chairs at beach, deck, fenced in area, fireplace. View from the sunroom facing water was outstanding. Nice quiet neighborhood. Great bike rides from house and close by. - we had a great time here. Highly recommended

This is our second year staying in this beach house. Great location, wonderful fenced yard for our dogs. This is the perfect place for our fall beach trip with our dogs. We love it and hope to return again next year

A very clean and well kept house on the shore of Delaware Bay. It’s a good place to chill and savor the bay breezes on the dune behind the house. We enjoyed our stay there. It’s a quiet, rural, beach community, but within a 15 minute drive of Lewes where there are some interesting shops and plenty of dining options. The Lewes Oyster House was particularly good for dinner.The dedicated outdoor dog area is well laid out and your dog can freely come and go from it to the house without fear of it running off.

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Slaughter Beach. The house was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The views of the water were beautiful, and we loved having access to a secluded beach just steps away. It was peaceful and quiet, a perfect spot to unwind. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat by the water.

Our 4th stay at this beautiful beach home. We come back again and again because it’s so clean, well appointed, and relaxing! If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway and beautiful views surrounded by nature, this is for you. Pet friendly, with a great fenced area (upgraded since our last visit). We had a great stay! The house is beautiful and just a short walk to get to the beach. The beach is in a natural state and you see a lot of the horseshoe crab carcasses. There is absolutely nothing to do anywhere in Slaughter Beach, which is exactly what I wanted. Peace and quiet!We really lucked out with the weather, beautiful every day! It’s just a short ride to get to Lewes or Rehoboth Beach. We did have a nice dinner out at Matt’s Fish Camp in Lewes and did some shopping in Rehoboth. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful relaxing week enjoyong the peacful location. The house, when we arrived was very clean and the bright beach decor was just what we had hoped for. We explored the area and found several.nice beaches. The municpal beach right down street is also worth a visit. Go.to Milton and try Po Boys restaurent for cajun/creole food. In Milford I highly reccomend My Sisters Fault for Puerto Rican/Dominican food. We even went to the state fair in Harrington. Thanks Ron and Anne, hope to visit again.

Great place!

Such a wonderful place to stay. Great vibe with an amazing sunrise view. We will be staying here again the next time we come to Delaware. The owner, Ron, was fantastic and has such a wonderful energy around him.

Excellent get away. Family friendly and pet friendly. Its a lovely quiet beach. The place is nice and tidy. Two lovely bedrooms and w sofas for additional guest. The 2 bathrooms are great and have good water pressure. There is a washer/dryer to clean up wet towels and bathing suits. Full kitchen to cook meals. Excellent carport. Town is 15 minutes away. Recommend Surf Bagel. Will definitely stay here again.

Our third stay here was as good as the first two! House is super clean, tastefully decorated and has everything you could need or want. Views and solitude are perfect for a relaxing getaway. Owners are proactive in communication leading up to arrival, then allow you to enjoy the peace and quiet undisturbed. Our pup soaked up the sun and loved daily walks on the beach with us on this pet friendly vacation. Enjoyed some nice restaurants in nearby Milton but mostly just chilled and soaked in the natural beauty. 15/10!

Peace by the Beach

After a 2 week stay we hated to leave. The views are absolutely amazing. Enjoying coffee watching the sun rise and cocktails watching the sun set from the beautiful unobstructed view from the sunroom is something to experience. We spent most of our time in the sunroom reading and listening to music. Hudson, our dog, loved his own space outside as well. A 20 minute ride to town where you can find anything and everything. This house is well equiped, clean, comfortable, well decorated, and so peaceful. Ron was in constant communication and very attentive. Anyone looking to "get away from the hectic lifestyle" this is the place. We will be booking again as this has become our Happy Place! Thanks Ron and Ann for sharing and see you again soon!

A Gem With Stunning Views!

Clean, charming home with beautiful views of the bay and wetlands! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pup loved her fenced in yard and we all enjoyed finding treasures.on the beach. Ron and Anne are great hosts. We highly recommend this property.

Moving in

We moved from SC to DE. We had a gap in time from our home in SC to having our home in DE ready for occupancy. We needed a home for the three of us, plus my mom’s chihuahua. We were beyond impressed with the home on the beach. It was about a 35 minute drive from our new home to there. It was so relaxing to come back to the beach after spending the day working at the new house. Looking out at that view just melted your cares away!We ran into an issue with our household goods being delayed a few days. We contacted the owner to see if it was possible to extend our stay; he accommodated us without an issue (thank God it was off season and no one else was renting for a few more days!)We would love to come back in warmer weather and enjoy the deck.Don’t hesitate staying here!

Great even in the winter!

Visited this lovely beach home in January as I am a PA student rotating at the local hospital. Hosts were extremely responsive to questions addressed concerns quickly. Allows dogs which is very important as I bring mine wherever I go! Views of the beach from the house are lovely, even with the 12in of snow we got while I was there. Definitely would recommend coming here any time of year, the beach view can't be beaten in any weather!

Wonderful

The owners Ron and Anne are the best of the best! They were so very helpful and their rental home is absolutely beautiful. My dog loved being able to sit on the deck and make his way down to the fenced in area without any issues. The view of the bay is so relaxing and peaceful. I enjoyed the quiet and spent time reading. I am not a tv person, but if you are, there is a hugh one in the living area and good sized in each bedroom. I would recommend anyone wanting a relaxing time in December, to check it out. I look forward to spending time again any chance I get.

Anne and I are from the Northern Virginia area, lived in Baltimore County, Maryland for many years and now are living in Milford, DE. We have had our house in Prime Hook Beach on VRBO since 2012 and are pleased with VRBO.

This is a small beach town on the Delaware Bay. It offers a very different experience compared to the crowds at Rehobeth Beach and Ocean City. Low stress and relaxing come to mind.

Our house is on the beach. It has been fully updated with beautiful colors and comfortable furniture. We also offer a linen rental for $100 (sheets and towels) and kayak rental for $150 (two kayaks, paddles, safety vests). Thank you.
