Oceanview Unit in Desirable, Family-Friendly Community.

Pine Knolls Shore area offers a more relaxed, family-oriented experience than most NC or SC resort areas are offering these days. The location of this community is set somewhat apart from the hustle and bustle, and the clean, expansive beaches provide an attractive getaway for couples and families. The unit has two floors, sleeps 6 comfortably (that is the maximum number of occupants) and has been totally remodeled for 2021. It is a great location just steps from the beach and pool.
This small development, Pine Knoll Townes III, is occupied mostly by residents and out-of-town homeowners lending itself to a friendly, safe and mature atmosphere (i.e. no wild parties). Kids especially adore the ease of beach to pool to condo access. The NC Aquarium is right down the street, Lost Treasure mini golf & raceway about 3 miles, Fort Macon 8 miles, and a short ride to historic Beaufort. Please: No smoking and No pets allowed for renters as per condo rules.

Also: Most people bring their own linens. If you choose to use our service, there is a fee. You should bring some beach towels and beach chairs.

Hidden Gem

The condo was exactly as advertised. Decorated beautifully and the kitchen was stocked with all the necessities. The host was amazing, responded quickly and very accommodating! We will definitely stay again! If you have never been to that part of the coast, it is amazing. A great place to vacation in a family friendly atmosphere.

Wonderful!

Our stay was wonderful! The unit was just like the pictures, the furnishings were all comfortable, and the kitchen was “cook-able”. PKT Phase III is our favorite spot.

Perfect Beachview Condo

Absolutely, amazing, condo. Well maintained, very nice and clean, and the owner was easy to work with. We've been coming down to that area for over 30 years, and this was one of the better condos we've stayed in. Will definitely be looking to rent from him again.

Great condo!

The Condo is recently updated with most everything seeming to be new. It’s the nicest one we have stayed in at Pine Knoll Townhomes. Everything is nicely kept and the house is well furnished for a great stay with family! The owner Mr Madsen is very cordial and responds timely with any concern or questions. We would definitely rent this home again.

Restful Vacation

My Wife And I and I are adult children enjoyed our vacation this past week. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was clean, and our walk to the beach with Short. It was very peaceful and restful. We enjoyed our time in Pine Knoll Shores.

Wonderful Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful stay in this very cute clean condo. It was the perfect place for my husband and me as it was the perfect location - only a few minutes walk to the beach! The condo complex is seems very welcoming to families and everyone we met was very friendly. We definitely recommend this rental and hope to return in the near future!

Awesome destination spot

Conveniently located steps away from the beach. Very clean with full amenities. Couldn't ask for anything better. Highly recommended. Definitely would stay here again.

Family Vacation

This was our first time in this area. We love close to the OBX at home, but this far down was new for us. It was so quiet. One of the most beautiful beaches we've been to. Nothing was too crowded at all, which was nice with everything going on this year. The townhouse was so cute! Loved the decor. It was so clean. Comfortable beds, easy walk to the beach and pool. It had everything our family of 4 needed. Our boys had a great time! Lots of other fun things to do on the island as well. Everything is so close to get to. Didn't have to drive much at all. The aquarium was another great to do. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent townhome and host

This property was better than advertised (hardly ever happens). The host was extremely communicative and helpful. The location and amenities were great. It was in an extremely safe, family environment and the beach was not overcrowded. We could not have asked for more from Howard and his townhome.

PERFECT LOCATION!

Revisiting the Outer Banks after a long absence, I was instantly flooded with wonderful memories. The condo is in a perfect location, close to the aquarium, restaurants and just steps from the beach. With limited public access to the beach, it was uncrowded and peaceful. Was the condo older? Yes. Could it stand some updates? Yes. But it was clean and comfortable and the location is perfect.The pool was great (I don't swim in the ocean!), and the regular residents were friendly and helpful. The kitchen is well equipped if you wish to prepare some meals. The only things we couldn't find were a pizza pan and pizza cutter. The Atlantic Beach area has grown substantially since my last visit. The quantity and quality of the restaurants is wonderful. There are brew pubs to fine dining. It is family friendly. The Aquarium has expanded and is a must see (especially after a day of too much sun). It is informative and interactive. Yes, there are sharks. There are also dinosaurs that move and make sounds! Howard was great at communicating before our visit and was available for questions during our stay. We didn't need him since everything was clearly laid out. We brought our own sheets and beach towels to save some money. There were a few beach toys and a couple of boogie boards available. A few pieces were broken and could be replaced, but we weren't expecting these items to be there. I definitely recommend this condo and look forward to visiting again. I hope hurricane Florence didn't wreak havoc on this wonderful condo complex.

This was a lovely home with a great owner!

This property was the perfect place for a quiet getaway. Everything we needed to go to the beach and cook and grill was available to access which was awesome. We had no complaints and the owner was always quick and friendly to respond to anything we needed.

The condo was exceptionally clean! It was very well equipped with lots of extra touches. In fact, it was better than we could even imagine. There were toys and beach equipment for every age, a super well equipped kitchen, and enough space for the 5 of us to either be together or have our own space. Easy access to the lovely condo pool and the beach for the condo residents made for a fantastic place to be

THE OWNERS ARE sitting on a piece of paradise. The unit is clean, convenient, well stocked--but it needs some updating. The Front Door has had a deadbolt on it-- and outside and inside it has a piece of duct tape over it? Not sure what that was about--The Main door--from just age and Sun -I am guessing--has an opening about 1/4 inch at the bottom --you can see daylight thru there--could probably be pried open. The main bath upstairs--probably has original light figure--and it was dim and it flickers--it desperately needs to be replaced. The couches in the living are very old --and should be replaced. The complex itself is quiet-the courtyard area is nice and the pool is nice. We would return-but the owners should do some updating.

Great location, friendly community

We had a great stay here for a long weekend. Perfect for families. The back of the unit goes to a courtyard with access to the pool and beach. Everyone we passed by in the area was very friendly. Howard was also quick to reply to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend!

Love jogging/walking on large, clean beach; kids can use pool when ocean is rough or cold; enclosed courtyard area ideal for families; one queen bed, two double beds, one pull-out couch ; kitchen allows for home-cooked meals to save on costs of eating out; near NC State aquarium - great for kids and adults; seafood in area is excellent; visit Ft. Macon nearby and historic Beaufort.
