Unparalleled Direct Gulf Views from this elegant, spacious, top floor unit. Bright, elegantly tropical décor frame the views from the expansive screened in lanai off of your large open living area.

A large bright updated kitchen has everything you need to enjoy your island vacation. This fully equipped kitchen features a range, microwave, dishwasher, pantry, breakfast bar and white Corian counters. Be lulled to sleep by the lapping waves of the gulf only to wake up to the sparkling water views in the large master suite with king sized canopy bed and private lanai. Relax in the deep tub in the bright master bathroom. Enjoy the beach décor of the 1st guest bedroom with king size bed. The spacious 2nd guest bedroom features two comfortable twin beds. The tropical grounds of Janthina feature a lagoon like pool, tennis courts, an elevator and its own charming private boardwalk to the stunning beaches of West Gulf. To top off your day of shelling, tennis and swimming, watch the sunset from the beach. This small 7 unit complex offers privacy, peace and tranquility unfound anywhere on the island.

Family Vacation

Very spacious property with an absolutely fantastic Gulf facing view - including a rooftop deck. Bedrooms large, bathrooms great, good-sized kitchen - plenty of room. On-site pool which was very well maintained.

Beautiful Condo

We loved this condo and the view from the s large screened in balcony could not be bear. It is steps from the beach and there was plenty of room for both of us to work remotely for part of our stay. Very nicely decorated.

Great Property!

We loved staying at this property! My brother and I went with two friends for a tennis week on Sanibel. We loved being next to the water! With this unit you have access to the roof patio. Not everyone does. The star gazing is amazing! My only negative is not the property but the no seums. If you don’t know what they are, they are little gnats that bite and leave welts. I literally had hundreds of bites all over my legs. I tried everything; bug repellents and lots of other things. The only thing that helps is skin so soft. They drown in it. I still have two scars 6 months later from scratching. My brother as well. We weren’t able to sit at the beach because of it. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll go back because of them. If you get bitten by mosquitoes then noseums will be attracted to you as well. At least with mosquitoes you can use repellent. The property was beautiful and clean. The tennis court was great! It’s hard court for those of you wanting to play. This unit was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Nicely decorated and comfortable. We took a private boat tour for a day and it was so fun! Brides beware of noseums!

What a View!

While the property is a little tired, the view makes up for a lot. We appreciated easy access to the beach, the availability of the swimming pool and the store room with beach chairs, floats and umbrella. Morning coffee on the screened in porch overlooking the gulf with many birds, and occasional dolphins was particularly memorable.

Lovely condo on the beach

This is a beautifully decorated on the Sanibel beach that is perfect for a family with young children. There are only six units in the building so it is quiet. The pool and beach were never crowded. The management company, Kingfisher Vacations, was very responsive.

Location!

This condo is in a wonderful location. We went up and down the island and this was by far the best area! The condo was beautiful...roof top area beautiful for sunset dinners. We've been up and down the gulf coast and this by far our favorite location.

Great BFF girls getaway !

The process for checking in and out was seamless. The property manager checked in frequently to ensure our comfort. Overall great time. The only downside was the bugs. Be sure to take bug spray!

Great week at beach

Sanibel off-season is a great way to remote work and remote school for a family of four. Janthina is a perfect mid-island spot... plenty of space, great wi-fi, steps from the sand and close to everything on Periwinkle. Will definitely be back!

What a view!

The view from the family/living room, which includes the dining area and even kitchen, is fantastic. It feels like you're on the beach even when you're in the unit. Likewise, the master bedroom has the same great view. The screened in balcony creates it's own living area for relaxing and dining. We loved the beach. Shelling was great and one or two days we had dolphins swimming within 20 yards of us in the water. We rented bikes and rode a number of places for groceries and meals. Restaurants were readily available, even if only for take out due to the pandemic. We had no problem finding what we needed. Great food! Everything about the trip went extremely well. All had a great time.

The Perfect Island Condo

Sanibel has been our family vacation spot for decades and we’ve stayed all over the island. This is hands down one of the most gorgeous places we’ve stayed. Rooftop was a hit, great beach access and storage for the beach toys, garage and additional parking. We also loved how quiet and private everything was. Can’t wait to book again next year!

Excellent property, beautiful location!

Worked out very well during the ongoing COVID pandemic. Place was very clean and well taken care of. Beach was private and quiet. Excellent location with multiple nearby restaurants for takeout. Lots of beach items provided like umbrellas, chairs, toys, etc. Overall very happy and we'll hopefully be back soon!

Super Stay

This was a wonderful place to stay - being right by the beach was the best part! Glad there were books to read because we hung out on the beach so much, I read more than I thought I would. Our family would highly recommend this place.

As advertised

The location of Janthina was perfect. We were only a few steps from the beach with breathtaking views from the living room and master bedroom. The open concept was perfect for my family and the size is the condo was outstanding. If you plan on going to Sanibel look no further than Janthina 3A...it couldn’t be much better.

Beautiful condo and great location!

The accommodations were awesome and well appointed with all the necessary items. The condo needs some 'refreshing' but it was still quite nice and very clean. We were thankful that the owners allowed us to reschedule our vacation from Oct 2018 to July 2019 (with a fee) due to the red tide conditions. Although we would not return to the area in July again (places of interested closed for renovations as it is the 'off season', etc.), we would definitely rent again at a different time of year.

Condo on the beach with great views

Stayed here for one week towards end of July with a group of 4 adults. We had a great time and enjoyed the spaciousness and beach views as well as the beach itself. However, there were definitely some issues that detracted from the stay. My first impression was that the exterior condition of the building was overall “okay”, but definitely in need of some renovating. The building had areas of peeling paint, and the exterior layout and landscaping arround the small pool area and path to the beach was functional, but not very attractive. I like a more natural landscape, but this just lacked for anything “pretty” compared to other condos we have rented. The condo itself had a great layout and beautiful views to the beach. While inside it was generally clean, (living room couch had some serious stains though), the exterior was not. The screened porch/lanai needed a serious cleaning and some black mold removal around the sliding doors and corners, as well as replacement of the broken door handle on the screen door. I love sitting on the lanai and enjoying the view while at the beach, and this was a major disappointment. In addition, there were napkins and potato chips just left on the ground from previous renters. I should have called and had it cleaned, but seriously, who wants to deal with this on their first day of vacation? I got the broom and swept it myself. The rooftop area was the exact same—completely uninviting, and a major disappointment. I did get an email mid-week from the rental company asking if there were any issues, and I could have let them know, but I was on vacation and did not feel like having it disturbed with a cleaning company and felt like this was not a simple issue of a quick clean. Location was good, we rented bikes for the week and could go anywhere. We used the grill and stored the bikes in the garage (mildew smell not withstanding) which was handy. Overall I would say the condo just need some real TLC. We have rented beach houses and condos up and down the East Coast, so I say this comparing it to other places we have stayed for a comparable price, understanding it is a rental that takes heavy use. I probably would try another place before staying here again, but it definitely has a BEAUTIFUL view and is quite spacious, features which we did enjoy. The rental process couldn’t have been easier, so I would applaud that as well.

Beautiful!

Great unit! Loved the view from the balcony. The unit was spacious and the furnishings were top notch. Sand toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, all available and appreciated when traveling with little ones. We definitely would consider this unit for future trips!

We have stayed in quite a few different condos on Sanibel, but this one was absolutely fantastic. It's beautifully decorated, very spacious to accomodate our large family, and decently clean. The view of the beach is just breathtaking. We love Sanibel, our kids love Sanibel, and we look forward to returning to this condo every visit...we already booked next year.

Wonderful Place

Had a great vacation here! The condo was spacious, clean and had all the things we needed. The condo as well as beach was quiet and made us feel like we were on our own little island. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful low-density penthouse condo

My family and I (total of 5) stayed in this condo for 14 days in July/August. It was by far the best vacation we have ever had in our ten years of coming to Sanibel. The condo was immaculate... so clean and airy, and the rooms are open and inviting. The lanai is huge, and has more walking room than any condo we've ever rented. My husband and I loved the "separate unscreened lanai" outside the master bedroom. This condo includes so many extras from a quality MP3 stereo, TVs in every room, separate in-cabinet ice maker, to the little extras like straw hats and cushions for the lanai chairs. The rooftop deck was the highlight of every evening, with a terrific view of the sunset to the west. The owners/realtor have went out of their way to accommodate every need of the guests. The location is great, just a short bike ride (or walk) to Baileys Grocery/Hardware and several restaurants. I would whole-heartedly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a great family vacation accommodation on Sanibel Island.
