This booking is for Unit 2. The property is a multifamily home. Unit 2 is on the ground level of the backyard but below Unit 1. Depending on your guest and preference, you can additionally rent Unit 1 or the whole house.

We're right around the corner from Myers Park where you can spend your day on the water swimming or sailing. Sitting on nearly an acre, the house is very quiet and scenic. Beautiful calming views from the backyard deck.

Or stay inside and start a fire in our cozy back room—the perfect place for sipping wine and enjoying a nightcap around a fire.

Keep in mind: This listing is for Unit 2 at The Ridge Retreat.

There are two units stacked on one another. They are completely separated from one another, with each having its own entrance.

At any given time, both units can be occupied. It is important to remain respectful and courteous with everyone who stays at The Ridge Retreat.

Our family of 4 found the property to be precisely as listed…..just what we thought it would be. The communication with hosts before check in was great- we loved the “guide” that was helpful on all ends. Great helpful hints of nearby places and wonderful recommendations on where to visit.Beds were very comfortable. We do agree with other reviews that the residents living above have heavy feet- late into the night and early in the am. We would stay there again for sure!

My family's time in Lansing was fantastic. Our BNB was neat and tidy and our hosts were always available to satisfy our requests. I highly recommend this location to anyone interested in a finger lakes adventure.

Spacious accommodation, and management replied quickly to any concerns. There is not much soundproofing between floors to upper unit, so noise travelled, especially for guests who did not adhere to quiet hours. Despite name of property, not that close to the lake. This didn't affect us, but may be a factor for others.

Sweet little getaway

We loved our stay. The view from the hot tub was beautiful in the snow. The local wine was an awesome touch. We would totally stay again.

Good location. The area was perfect for going to the Saye Parks and wineries. Stairs going down to the unit was scary, especially using them at night.

Great place

Super peaceful, well lit abode, super clean had plenty of dishes and a dishwasher and we all really enjoyed ourselves while there. I would definitely stay again and am excited to see you the upstairs unit as well.

Great time!

My friends and I enjoyed our stay. The house was cute and cozy with a full kitchen which we needed. The beds were so comfortable and it was nice to have 2 full baths. This was a great landing pad for all kinds of activities in Ithaca and at the national parks!

Cozy and quiet! Great place to hangout and relax after visiting our son at college.

Very spacious and worked well for our family of 4 adults. We played games and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.

Location!

We were visiting Cornell for college tours and it was a great location. Close enough to campus to have meals at the dining hall and a wonderful jumping off point for visiting tourist sites like Corning. Overall just like the listing.

Family visit to Cornell

Great place that met all or needs. Close to Ithaca , Cornell. Spacious with nice big back yard, great for the dogs . Host was really helpful with questions , would definitely recommend.

Cayuga Lake gem

Needed a place close to Ithaca and this was perfect. Plenty of room for the three of us, and the place was exactly as advertised. Great communication and an all-around positive experience

Overall we had a good experience and it was decorated nicely. Beds were comfortable and it was nice that bedding and towels were provided. One of the showers had some weird film around the drain and it was super dark trying to shower. But again overall we had a nice stay. The owners were very communicative and extremely helpful providing options for things to do in the area.

Great spot for access to Lake & Wine Region

This property is conveniently located minutes from downtown Ithaca, Cayuga Lake and all the wineries. It had all amenities I needed. It also had a great outdoor space with a firepit. The only issue I had was the keypad to get in the front door. But the owners were immediately available by phone and got me in quickly.

This house is years in the making. We've always dreamed about having an escape away from the East Coast pace where we could just relax and unwind, even for a long weekend. After years of planning, we were finally able to do it.
