Large Villa, Iconic Location Shelter Cove Marina Harbour Walk, Full Harbor Views

You won't believe the size of our Two-Story, Large 1 bedroom Villa! What a great vacation you're bound to have. We have a very nicely decorated and very comfortable 1 bedroom townhouse right in the heart of the Shelter Cove Marina, which is a part of the well known Palmetto Dunes Plantation. Shelter Cove is Hilton Head's largest marina. The villa is well-suited for a couple and for overnight guests using the sleeper couch.

OUR TOWNHOUSE IS A CORNER UNIT WITH AWESOME FULL HARBOR VIEWS. The living area has a dining room with a greenhouse window wall and a glass top table with seating for 6. You'll also be amazed when you see the 2 walls of glass in the living room...giving our place a terrific bright and open feeling.

Not just 1 but 2 balconies to enjoy...one that has some morning sun and a great view of Shelter Cove's courtyard and the 14' bronze statue of Neptune...and a nice view of some of the harbor too. The other balcony has fabulous full views of the marina and, in season, great afternoon sun and beautiful evening sunsets. Also during the high season, you also get a weekly fireworks display over the harbor...and you have a front row seat from your balcony.

Our kitchen has been nicely renovated & updated. New cognac colored cabinets, granite tops and all stainless appliances.

For all of you that like to bring your best friend along, WE ARE PET FRIENDLY, as long as we understand and agree to the dog or cat you'd like to bring along...must be well behaved & trained. If your dog is a shedder, please be sure to clean up dog hairs on the furniture and floors. Sorry, declawed cats only.

Shelter Cove is a very popular place for vacationers. Waters sports (fishing, kayaking, sightseeing, etc), lots of stores for shopping and a ton of restaurants all around the harbor, most with al fresco dining...even a restaurant that offers a 'doggie menu' for your pooch to eat along side of you! Also there are MANY other restaurants and stores to shop, especially at the nearby Shelter Cove Town Centre which is just a short walk away from the marina.

Most of the harbor front restaurants offer al fresco dining with live entertainment. There's even an amphitheater/pavilion maybe 100' away from our balcony that has live entertainment for you during the high season...it's very popular and gathers a nice crowd...and it's great fun for the kids too.

In season, there is a free shuttle 'buggy' that will pick you up right next to our building. It takes you around the Palmetto Dunes Plantation including our private beach house and the country store. And just a few blocks away from the marina is the new Shelter Cove Town Centre. An outdoor mall of stores, restaurants, park, entertainment pavilion and a huge Kroger's to do your grocery shopping.

And if you like theater, there's a playhouse only 1 block away. You can also rent a bike right from the marina...go all around the marina and Shelter Cove...even bike from Shelter Cove through the tunnel and under highway 278 and see the rest of the Palmetto Dunes Plantation!

Our townhouse is large. It has almost 1,300sf of living space. The villa is nicely decorated and very comfortable...more like a year 'round place to live than a rental unit. As you enter, there's a powder room, then the kitchen. The dining room is ahead with a greenhouse window wall. Then as you pass by the open kitchen with counter and stools, you see the expansive living area with 2 walls of glass and the 2 balconies. And there's a queen sleeper sofa in the living room for the kids or your guests to use. If you let us know in advance, we can provide an air mattress...some of our guests have enjoyed using it on the balcony when the weather is comfortable to sleep out there.

To get upstairs to the master bedroom suite, go up the spiral staircase. Once you're upstairs, you'll find a huge master bedroom with a sitting nook and a large platform whirlpool tub that's open to the bedroom. There's also a vanity with double sink and a separate area with the shower and toilet.

We offer rentals throughout the year. Weekly prices run from $895 to $1,395 depending on the time of the year and if your week is during a holiday or special event like the Heritage Golf tournament. Also, at the end of your stay there is a cleaning charge. We also offer discounts on multiple week stays and deeper discounts on monthly stays, especially during the winter months for all of you 'snow birds'.

Credit card payments are through VRBO/Homeaway and are subject to their service charges.

By the way, for all of you TV buffs we now have we have a 55' big screen LED-HDTV with DVD in the living room and a 40' big screen LCD-HDTV in the bedroom. Both have the preferred channel lineup.

And for all of you that can't leave your computer at home, we have internet in the villa.
