Nestled within the Adirondack Park, this custom year round home sits like a tree house overlooking the tranquil river. Relax indoor with the comfort of central AC and heat. Our home has beautiful views from every window including 2 waterfront porches. Top porch offers unobstructed views perched above the river and lower screened porch with direct access to waterfront. Indoor, you will find a custom kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. 2 full baths, washer/dryer, Wi-Fi. Plenty of indoor entertainment for rainy days or movie nights. 2 bedrooms on main living with a king and queen sized bed, walkout basement with queen size sofa sleeper. Outdoor amenities include (3) single person kayaks, (1) two person kayak, (3) paddle boards and canoe. BBQ gas grill, fishing poles, (2) fire pits, beautiful deck overhanging the water, private dock to fish/swim or bring your boat.
Activities within minutes of home include downhill/cross country skiing, snow tubing, white water rafting/tubing, rail bikes, hiking, Six Flags Great Escape, Saratoga Race Track, boating, wineries/breweries/distilleries. Located within 15 minutes of beautiful Lake George, historic Saratoga Springs and downtown Glens Falls.

We were so comfortable in this house! Everything was so tasteful, clean and in wonderful working order. We utilized the kayaks and fire pits. The view from the house is spectacular. Easy drives to Saratoga Springs, Lake George, 6 Flags, Outlets and so many great restaurants!

Perfect Waterfront Stay

We had a great week at Hudson House. The waterfront location was perfect. We enjoyed fishing and kyacking as well as the beautiful views of the river, mountains, rainbows, and foggy sunrises. The home was tastefully decorated and was well stocked with everything you may need. We had the opportunity to meet the hosts and they were so friendly and a lovely family.

We had a great week at the Hudson House. Alll amenities were thought of. The dock and river provided endless entertainment for the kids. Location is great, quiet but close enough to anything you need and major attractions in the area. House is clean and the perfect layout for our family of 4.

The property was amazing. We had chefs who really appreciated the kitchen. Everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal was there. Trudy was a pleasure to work with. Any question I had was answered with a very prompt response. The Adirondack charm and woodworking throughout the house was very relaxing. Also, the beds were comfortable. We would definitely go back no questions asked.

Exceeded expectations. The house was wonderful, and the hosts left us wanting for nothing. So well furnished and equipped, well beyond the basic needs. Would highly recommend, we had lots of great family time at the house, on the river, and on area hikes.

Beautiful, peaceful, and fun getaway

Very clean and spacious with plenty of things to do for the kids including fishing, swimming, and kayaks with an incredible view and private access to the lake. Easy to get to Lake George for fireworks at night or stay and toast marshmallows at the cabin.

Perfect Lakehouse

Beyond expectations

We had a great week at the Lake House even with the poor weather and power outage. Relaxing and outstanding property. The renovated house is gorgeous and every detail is well thought out and intentional. Quick drives to Saratoga and Lake George. Trudy and Ken were gracious and responsive hosts.

Adorable home

This was our first family vacation to the Adirondack area and it did not disappoint! The home was perfect for our family of four, the hosts were responsive and helpful every step of the way. Every inch of the home was spotless and new. All amenities were considered! The location was exactly what we wanted, private but close enough to restaurants and beaches. We loved exploring the area. Highly recommend! We will be back!

Hudson House

Canā€™t say enough about this amazing home! The pictures donā€™t do it justice! Absolutely beautiful and immaculate. Has everything you could think of needing. The water was beautiful to swim in! We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. Plenty of things to do even with some rainy days. Great location to visit both Lake George and Saratoga. Ken and Trudy were excellent hosts and were very accommodating! There was a nice bouquet of flowers on the kitchen island when we arrived as well if some goodies to make sā€™mores. We had an amazing week!

Highly recommend this house!

It surpassed our expectations! Wish we could give it more than 5 stars! Everything has just been renovated. It ticks all the boxes of what you'd want from a vacation accommodation: million-dollar view, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and amazing outdoor activities. The house was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. We rented for 9 days and could have spent a few more weeks without ever getting bored! There are so many activities right in front of the home: kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding and even great fishing right off the dock, all provided by the wonderful and super responsive hosts, Ken & Trudy! We were even able to swim right from the little sandy shoreline. We will definitely be coming back!
