Overall we enjoyed our stay, especially starting the morning on the back deck surrounded by whispering aspen trees. Some of the property wasn't clean when we arrived but Sunset Lodging was very responsive, sent someone to address the issue, and refunded us for the first night unsolicited—they were easy to reach, kind, and accommodating. By the end of the week we were sorry for the trip to end and wished we could stay longer.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Quelah and its location but this condo’s bedrooms were dated and had very poor lighting and wasn’t worth the nightly price we paid. The condo was clean but the bathrooms featured a very difficult climb in and out of the shower...not well suited for older adults and kids. I would not recommend...

Hi Rebecca We are very sorry that you were disappointed. We do have updated photos and do keep things transparent as to what guests are renting. We do also have a few other quelah condos if you'd like to try a newer one next time!

Great Sunriver Vacation Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very enjoyable stay at this Quelah two bedroom home. Clean, bright, cheerful and comfortable with a private and shady patio facing the lawn. Well stocked kitchen and all amenities were available. Located just about five minutes from the river loop walk, which we enjoyed taking our dog on every morning. Would definitely recommend this unit and hope to return next summer!

Nice Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The queen bed was extremely hard and quite squeaky when moving around at night. Cobwebs were found in the living and dining room and lots of dirt, toys left behind, popcorn, candy, etc. under couches and living room chairs. The dryer belt might need changed, it squeaks at the beginning of a cycle but goes away after warmed up. LOUD dishwasher, NICE coffeemaker. Regular cereal-type bowls would be nice to add to this unit. Only big plastic shallow restaurant style soup bowls. Plenty of towels and kitchen supplies after add'l teaspoons were added to the utensils/cutlery. Nice size refrigerator and comfy living room seating. Lights in kitchen and over dining table are dim but surrounding lamps help. We liked the unit but the queen bed and early 10:00 check out were the only draw-backs. Most units we've stayed in have 11:00 checkout. The property mgmt and facilities staff were TOP NOTCH-very helpful, understanding, and most accommodating! I wish all of Quelah properties were managed by them.

Great location, tough kitchen

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a cute condo in a wonderful location, but it definitely needs some upgrades in the kitchen. We planned many meals that were so much more difficult in this kitchen. The cupboards looked like a garage sale with a hodgepodge of things. The oven and stove are so outdated it took forever to cook with and we couldn’t get the barbecue hot enough to use. If you plan on dining out your whole vacation then this is the place for you.
