Main deck is large gathering spot off the kitchen and living area with water view. Private assoc. beach with lifeguard, shining sea bike path and walking trails thru adjacent conservation land minutes away by foot. Located in Quissett area of Falmouth close to Woods Hole and ferries and Historic downtown Falmouth. Travel lightly as we supply many amenities. Watch the sunrise over the water.Beautiful.

Leading up to our stay, Nancy was very communicative and reassured me that steps would be taken to keep the property fragrance-free, which was important as two members of our group are sensitive. While some of the décor and furniture are a bit dated and show signs of wear, the house itself is lovely—spacious, with a well-stocked kitchen, oversized windows offering beautiful views, and a fantastic location. Upon arrival, we did notice that two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first floor hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly, and the living room television remote wasn’t working properly. Nancy responded quickly to these concerns, and overall these issues wouldn’t keep us from staying here again.

Great house. Spacious. Clean. Great location. Walk to the beach, Falmouth and Woods Hole. Beach chairs available so we did not need to bring ours. Quality sheets and towels. Great communication from the owner. Easy check in and out. Excellent.

Amazing location and views.

This house was the best we have rented on Cape Cod. There was ample space for 6 adults. The deck was beautiful and helpful to have a screened in porch if there were bugs at night. Highly recommend!

View of the ocean from Master Bedroom

Steps away from the biking and walking trail, you can actually walk or ride your bike to Woods Hole. Lots of space for a family to spread out. Sheets of mattresses were clean and comfortable. When I needed something, Nancy was always very quick to reply.

Loved the Location

We had a great stay at this property. If you are there with a family and plan to eat dinners at home, you're in luck as the kitchen is well stocked w/ pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc. The location is perfect -- easy to get to so many places and if you like to bike, you'll love the location even more. The owner was very responsive w/ questions and attentiveness to any issues that surfaced, however, the property does show some wear and tear and certain things can use some refurbishment. I also found that it wasn't as clean as I would have expected as the 1st renter of the season. With that said, it was a fun and enjoyable stay for us and the location really is pretty awesome!

Relaxing home away from home

We spent two weeks at this amazing Cape house. Nancy was great to deal with and the house was amazing! The house was very clean, nicely furnished, and a great location! Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful family vacation

Excellent vacation! Great location to make the most of the cape. Short walk to the beach and bike path as well as a short drive to the vineyard ferry. House was spacious, well equipped and had beautiful water views.

Lovely stay

Beautiful home with perfect layout for family gathering. My adult children had their own space on the first level. Lots of room to spread out for those that had to work remotely for part of the time, idyllic setting. Ping pong matches, puzzles and cooking in fully gourmet equipped kitchen filled the rainy days with fun. Be warned of extremely sensitive smoke alarm if cooking...use fan and open windows if doing any cooking at all... its painfully ear piercing, and answer the phone promptly to prevent dispatch, and run to laundry room to de-activate. Corner bike rentals were excellent. Bike trail very close. Highly recommend this home to anyone wanting a perfect getaway. Thank you, Nancy!

Beautifully appointed home with Wonderful Central location

Nancy was lovely to work with- she was always readily available and helpful- her home is lovely- very clean and well stocked with everything needed for a beach stay. We biked a lot and the house was very close to the Shining Sea Bike Path as well as a well marked road route along the ocean. We also cooked a lot and the kitchen was very well stocked and we were thrilled to find everything needed to cook a lobster dinner. Very spacious and it was clear that Nancy has taken all the steps needed to follow the Covid safety guidelines

Very enjoyable stay

We just spent 2 weeks at the house. The accommodations were fine. It's a very comfortable house. The location is very good, close to the private, life guarded beach and to downtown Falmouth. The views off to Martha's Vineyard Sound from the house and deck are beautiful. The house is well equipped with all you'll need and the AC came in handy. We'd recommend it.

Excellent House

House was large and beautiful, with a perfect location within walking distance to a private beach and a bike trail. Five-minute drive to downtown areas of both Falmouth and Woods Hole.

Great rental for large family near beach

We come to Falmouth every other summer so we have seen our share of rentals. This rental was one of our favorites. The house was clean, well-stocked and had a great selection of beach gear. It is a ten minute walk to the beach with lovely views of the ocean from the house. They have a great cable setup so we could watch all the fun movies we wanted. It was great.

Spacious welcoming home, amazing view, great location!

Why do you come to the Cape? Is it to relax with family and share the joy that comes from: ... being together in a beautiful place away from the life’s frenetic pace? … a perfect day at a beach that you can walk to? … a picnic in a lovely garden by the sea? … a three generation bike ride? Perhaps it is just the joy of relaxing on the deck while watching an Osprey soar in a clear blue sky as the Ferry silently makes it way to the Vineyard, or waking to the morning sun shining off the sea? If you have ever closed your eyes and imagined a place where you are surrounded by all of that and much more, you should find a week to gather your family and friends and visit this lovely home. The owners of this property have created a special place. Atop a hill, just a short walk from the beach, they have designed and built a space that gives you a treetop view across the Vineyard Sound from the: kitchen, dinning room, living room, yoga room, porch, deck, master bedroom suite, third floor balcony… if you are in the living spaces and can't see the sea it you must be napping. Our family has been vacationing at the beach for 30+ years, sharing houses from Maine to the Caribbean, this space is one of our favorites. It has lots of room for our three generation vacation, a lovely kitchen for family meals, well-designed living spaces and decks with fun things to do for everyone in our 18 month to 60+ year old clan. The location is perfect, hours closer than a ride to the eastern end of the Cape, but nestled in a quiet spot, high enough above the roads to protect you from the bustle of the beach, but close enough to walk, ride or short drive to beaches, gardens, the bike path, the ferry to the Vineyard and wonderful restaurants. Nancy the owner was very helpful and communications went well, and she definitely helped us a time or two when we had questions. Hope you enjoy your visit as much as we did!

This home is a little piece of Heaven, with the space and amenities perfect for our whole family.

We love staying at this home, and have had many wonderful extended family memories here. The views of the ocean from the large deck are gorgeous, and the convenient location close to the beach and bike path is perfect for all generations.

A beautiful and elegant home that immediately conveys "Make Yourself at Home, Relax & Have Fun!"

Wow, was our first impression! This is what we wanted and imagined how we would feel. We loved it and our family was so pleased with all the space. We were at home for the week! Room to come together and also room to enjoy time away from everyone. As you come in the garage door entrance a nice large laundry room, fully stocked with soap & lots of space to kick off shoes and drop wet towels from the beach etc. You can walk right out another door to the outdoor shower if you choose. There are 3 nice sized bedrooms on this floor and 2 full baths. The rooms are fresh and clean and beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels & linens. Downstairs in the basement is a ping pong and game room. As you go up a flight of stairs, that is the beautifully furnished living area with couches & club chairs and with a game table for 4, gourmet kitchen with plenty of seating, half bath, formal dining room and you walk out the back door to an amazing screened-in porch that is nicely furnished. Step out onto the huge deck with more seating and a full outdoor dining table and grill. The Best View of Vineyard Sound and being able to watch all the boats and ferries go by. Sitting on the screened-in porch in complete privacy, the whole deck is private, and enjoy the peaceful water view at any time of the day. The kitchen was beautiful, upscale and well stocked with anything you needed including a huge pot we used after clamming. Check all the drawers before you make your grocery run. There was foil and wraps, trash bags, coffee. The dining room was so lovely and it was nice to seat everyone and use placemats on the table for dinners. The next set of stairs takes you up to the master suite and spectacular deck with same nice water view. Huge bedroom and bathroom and a sitting room too. Having our home centrally located allowed us to do exactly what we wanted. We could go to the private beach with a lifeguard right around the corner and bike path right there too. The water is so clear, small waves and clean beach. We could day trip to Martha's Vineyard and catch the ferry right nearby. Drive up & around The Cape. Grocery, restaurants, shopping just about 2 miles. I talked with the very sweet & kind homeowner, Nancy Donoghue, several weeks prior to our trip and she was so helpful and made a notebook for guests & lots of brochures were avail. She was avail. anytime during our stay if I needed anything. Great home & great vacation! Thank you so much!!
