The Neighborhood:
Appleton is one of the few midwest downtowns left that continue to thrive and grow. With great restaurants, awesome wine shops, a close public library, an amazing performing arts center and the best farmers market north of Madison, THIS is where you want to be. Not to mention an awesome night life downtown scene!

Getting Around:
Uber and Lyft are abundant and ready to take you wherever you want to go. There is also a city bus station a few blocks away. The downtown area is VERY safe and you can easily walk anywhere down here at any time of day or night.

Interaction with Guests:
You have private access via a keypad lock to the spaces upstairs, so will let you come and go uninterrupted on your own. However, should any questions arise, we are just a phone call or text message away.

Cute & Cozy

Right on the corner of a busy street and near train tracks… the provided earplugs certainly help. Apartment was very clean and all the appliances worked great! Night life is very active and loud. Within walking distance to several bars.

Weekend away

Everything was nicely done, and had everything you need. Right on college ave so no need for a car. The owners are very nice and answered any questions I had right away.

State view 202

It’s small, but absolutely all the necessities are well covered. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. There are room-darkening window treatments so a person could sleep in if they wanted to. I am short, so having the microwave on top of the refrigerator was a challenge. I think a step-stool stashed somewhere in the unit would be helpful. The table with bar stools was a little awkward because the chairs are made of a very smooth plastic, meaning I had to sit on one chair and brace myself using the other chair to avoid sliding off. Once I mastered that technique I was fine. My sister stayed with me for one night and found the couch to be comfortable. The white noise machine and ear plugs were thoughtful touches. I very much appreciate that parking is provided. The keypad lock system is handy; no need to carry keys.
