Our condo is not "across the street," "oceanview" or "second row". We are right on the Atlantic Ocean! Every vacation day begins and ends with the soothing sound of the Atlantic surf and the serene view of blue sky and golden sand. The soft sand of Surfside Beach is just a few steps from the door. Start your mornings watching the sunrise or catching dolphins on their morning swim. We are also not in a "resort" or a crowded high-rise that has crazy lines for the elevator; you won't have to drive anywhere! There is a swimming pool exclusively for guests and is never crowded. Relax on the lounge chairs while the kids swim.



There is a king size bed in the master bedroom, and two double beds in the second bedroom. Beds will be made when you arrive, kitchen and bath towels are provided. Bring your beach towels. Here, every day offers a choice of shopping, golf, and attractions from the convenient Surfside Beach location, or just relaxing on the balcony or the beach enjoying the sunshine.



Surfside Beach is perfect for a family vacation, away from the traffic and crowds, but still, a short drive to the wide variety of attractions, shopping, dining, and entertainment the Grand Strand has to offer. There are over 100 golf courses nearby. The Surfside Beach pier, restaurants and shops are a few blocks away. Luxury shopping and dining are a few minutes north in the Market Commons area. Just a short drive north is all the attractions and shopping of Myrtle Beach, Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand shopping center, the Myrtle Beach boardwalk, and one of the world's largest Ferris wheels. About 15 minutes south is the Murrells Inlet restaurant row, said to be "the seafood capital of South Carolina". For a unique cultural experience, Brookgreen Gardens displays one of the world's largest collections of sculpture by American artists in a lush outdoor setting, along with a zoo and butterfly garden, it's just a few minutes south on Business 17.

Loved it!

We had a lovely stay here! Loved the condo. Found it to be very clean, nicely stocked and comfortable with a great ocean/beach view! Will definitely stay here again! The rental company did an excellent job with check in/ instructions, etc., and the communication was excellent. Thanks for such a lovely week!

South Shores II

4th time here and love it. Million dollar view and puppy friendly. We had a couple of hiccups with Wi-Fi & cable but Mandi & her team were on top of it. Only complaint was the unit was not as clean as weā€™ve become accustomed. Overall, a great place to stay.

Great family stay!!!!

We loved our stay here and plan on rebooking for our next summer vacation. Only complaint we had was there was still sooo much sand covering the island chairs and table chairs. Also lots of sand in the bedrooms. I did have to do a quick wipe down and sweep the day we arrived but overall, everything was perfect for us. We appreciated all the nice cooking equipment and silverware as our last place we tried out had the bare minimum. Definitely an 8 out of 10 for us!

The bathrooms were too small and cockroaches in the living room. Pee-stained rug in the living area. We love the facility, but this room needs some updates in the kitchen and etc.

The unit was clean and we were allowed to check in about 30 minutes early. The host service was responsive to our requests. There are problems with the unit itself. I love this location but would prefer a different unit.

Great week!

We had a great week at South Shores II! The condo was clean and spacious. The beds and furniture were comfortable and there was everything we needed in the kitchen. Loved watching the ocean from the balcony and saw dolphins on several days! The only negatives were how small the master bathroom is. Itā€™s definitely a tight squeeze, but the shower is wonderful! Also, there is a palm tree blocking some of the view from the balcony. However, that wouldnā€™t stop us from renting this unit again in the future! We had an issue with the dryer, and someone came right out and fixed it. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Looks are deceiving

This should be a nice place and from initial looks it is, but it was very dirty. There was only an obstructed view due to extreme overgrown palm trees and grass. Not like the picture at all. We didn't mind but the owners need to update the pictures and maybe the cleaning company. An inch of dust was under everything including the beds.

Perfect access, but...

This condo has the best access I've ever had, but the condo itself left something to be desired, esp considering the price - incredibly small bath area in master, palmetto bugs/cockroaches found every day, tv in guest room never worked, tv in living room went out halfway through trip (not good when you're stuck inside on a rainy night), and worst of all, no reply from property management to my text complaining about the issues. (And btw, I've never been in a building as unlevel as this one.) The best thing about this condo was the balcony because it was first floor and so close to the beach.

South Shores II

We've stayed at South Shores II at Surfside Beach the last 3 years and our experiences have been fantastic! The first year we brought our whole family - kids, their spouses and grandkids - and stayed in unit 302. Plenty of room for the twelve of us! My husband and I and our son returned each of the next 2 years and stayed in unit 102 both times. Both units are very nice. Online photos accurately represent the condo units. Check-in and checkout are easy and convenient. Mandy communicates via email and text leading up to and during your stay. You are close to Murrells Inlet and Garden City. We've enjoyed a dolphin cruise and a river plantation cruise during our stays. Our favorite activity is relaxing on the beach which is conveniently just steps away! It's easy to rent a beach umbrella and chairs for the week too!

Another great family vacation at South Shores 102 in Surfside Beach S.C. everything was fine with our condo no complaints. Was able to get in our condo a little after 3 which was better than last year at 4 o'clock. Mandy the office personnel at the itrip Myrtle Beach South is always very helpful and Randy the maintenance person is very prompt getting any problems we had during the week done.

As advertised!

Unit was nicely appointed and well stocked. Although it was ā€˜tidyā€™ I wouldnā€™t call it clean. Gritty surfaces in kitchen & bathrooms. Dust bunnies under tables & chairs. Master bedroom did not work. Called on check in day. They sent a tech and checked it when we were out. Said it worked fine. The only problem was they checked the second bedroom, not the Master. Called on Monday and they brought a new tv & hooked it up for us. Over all a terrific place with million dollar views.

Our own private beach

The beds were clean and comfortable. Master bedroom is oceanfront. Soothing sound of the waves made for blissful sleep. We love staying at South Shores ll. Feels like we have our own private pool, and beach.

April refresh

April was a perfect time to visit. Swim suits some days, sweaters other days. And none of the stifling humidity of August. The condo was clean and so comfortable -- we loved our stay.
