We had a great time with family and friends celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday. Great setup, everything we needed was there. We brought our Key West boat, perfect for the canal, easy to navigate to the intercoastal. The little plunge pool was enjoyed by all! Kelly was a great hostess. Great weekend!

Family Vacation

Spent week with daughters and grand kids. Everyone enjoyed the stay. The pool was a hit for late afternoon and evening swims. Location was perfect. Would definitely stay again.

Close to the beach, it had everything we needed for our stay. Well furnished and comfortable. Great deck and pool. The owners were super responsive and checked in often to make sure we were having a good experience.

Wonderful vacation

My family and I stayed for a week. We make a trip annually to OIB and we really enjoyed the decks and pool. The location was very quiet and close enough to walk or drive easily to the beach! Thanks for sharing your house w/ us! We had a wonderful time!

Excellent stay!

The house was even better than pictures and descriptions. Everything we could think of needing was there. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Covered pool was perfect for rainy days. Would recommend this property and would love to come back!

Cozy Beach Cottage

We were incredibly pleased with our stay at this beach cottage! It was well-appointed (fabulous saltwater pool, corn hole, bikes, beach toys, laundry, linens, etc.) and communal in supplies. The hosts were incredibly communicative and friendly, the neighbors on the street were friendly…would book again. 😄❤️

Just okay

I contacted the owner host to let her know there were no washcloths or dish towels. She said go buy some and I will pay you back- she never mentioned that again. I bought 12 washcloths and 3 dish towels and left them there. The description clearly states beach umbrella was available - not- rented one for the week250. Then the house went on the market- we were asked to allow 2 showings- which we did. Then the utility company showed up for non- payment of the

Upon check-in, the home was in "okay condition," but there were many things wrong. The house needed a good cleaning, the grass was almost knee high, the pool was very dirty, dog poop on the walkway to the dock, all the outdoor furniture was rusted and stained. We were told by the owner that towels would be provided, and they were... just in the washer and dryer; we had to finish doing laundry to use them. There was a pile of laundry on the floor that we were told the cleaning lady accidentally left behind. The central air conditioning in the house must not have been working, so there are units in the windows of every room. It stayed warm in the house, with temperatures around 78 throughout the day, even with the units on. ALL window units had black mold on the vents. The pool area is where we spent most of our time. We tried to use the grill, but only two out of the three burners worked, making grilling difficult. There were roaches in the grill. Bugs were everywhere as well. We contacted the host several times about the issues, and she addressed some of them, such as the grass. A man came to weed-eat the grass, which was not cut with the lawnmower, and threw the clippings everywhere. The pool was cleaned by a company the next day. For the amount we paid, we expected a little better of a place. On a positive note, the beach is close with access across the street from the road. The dock was nice to hop on the boat with friends. And we spent most of the time in the pool area.

Pink Paradise

This house is more beautiful than the pictures show! To the home decor is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a multi generational family. The split floor plan would be great for a multi family rental. There are TVs in every room… The views from every level are just absolutely amazing! The homeowners leave you everything you need to have an amazing time at the beach, on the intercoastal waterway, or for just hanging at home by the pool! The fridge is stocked with essentials needed to get you started. The cupboards had everything you could possibly need to cook a meal or prepare some light snacks. The beach access is about a 7 to 10 minute walk down the road but it’s very easy to manage for all ages. If you’ve never been to a Ocean Isle check ahead for the golf cart rental situation. We didn’t know about this and they were all sold out but it would definitely be a good opportunity and a fun way to get around! There are multiple golf cart, rental locations in the area that will deliver straight to the house. The homeowners had great communication and got in contact with us immediately with any questions we asked. They checked in with us regarding our stay. Overall this was an amazing trip! I am definitely a diamond in Ocean Isle, if you have the chance to rent! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
