Newly decorated home on natural canal with large dock. Fish cleaning station downstairs along with outdoor shower and lounging area underneath house as well as upstairs deck and private upper porch off loft. Tv's in every room. A quick walk to the ocean, restaurants and shopping. Double Kayak available. This 3 bedroom house has the living area down the center with private hallway for 2 bedrooms and another bath off the master bedroom. Fully equiped kitchen will more than serve your needs and a dining table for 8. A spacious loft has 2 twin beds and private porch for beautiful sunsets.

Enjoy the calm seas of Ocean Isle beach at this wonderful location. Plenty of parking for boat trailor and cars under the house.

Smoke free emvironment and no pets please.

Felt like a home

We loved the location and house it was perfect for our kids and the house was so well stocked. I took pictures of the mattress because I slept so well! We will back and we are bringing bikes because the location is so awesome!

Beautiful Cottage

This house will enhance your OIB vacation. The kitchen is well equipped, the furnishings are gorgeous and the neighbors on this quiet street are great.

Location was great! We have been visiting OIB for decades and like to change up where we stay. The canal was great for fishing and floating. You could see the beach access from in front of the house, getting there took 3 minutes! Loved the master bedroom and the other two rooms were a great setup for our daughter and her family. Thanks for having us!

We had a wonderful stay!! The house was laid out beautifully which allowed plenty of room for our group of 8. The bedrooms were also a great size, allowing us to not feel cramped. We enjoyed the outside space so much and the walk to the beach was very accessible. We would very happily book this house again! Betsy, thank you!

Good location

Our family enjoyed our stay at the beach cottage. It is in a great location to walk to the pier and eating places. It had a short walk to beach access. The cottage had a nice living area for the family to relax or play board games. The view and the seating arrangements at the canal were very nice. We would love to return another time as a family.

Perfect getaway

The property was awesome, as was the location. The listing was accurate and Betsy the property manager could not have been more helpful.The whole experience was very enjoyable and I would 10/10 recommend this property to any family who is looking to enjoy all OIB has to offer.

Family Trip

The location was great! Loved being on the canal and close to a beach access. The TV's didn't work great and kept buffering. It didn't bother me but the kids were annoyed with this in the evening.

Home Away from Home

Our visit at Betsy's home was fantastic again! It was just what our family needed. The property is the perfect location for families to enjoy the beach and relax away from the hustle and Betsy has included everything you'll need for a week away. We will rent again for sure.

Family Beach Week with grown children

Great house for our group of 6 adults. Wonderful location in a great neighborhood near beach and shops. Betsy was very responsive. Beautifully decorated with lots of “ little spaces” where we could all get away when we wanted. Back porch views of sunset stunning. Well stocked kitchen. We used the kayak daily. Would rent again for sure!

Comfy home away from home

The property was comfy and worked well for our family (kids age 9, 12, 15). Little extras like the soft throw blankets in lots of spots around the house was very nice. The outdoor space — decks, dock and under the house — was lovely and useable throughout the day. We appreciated the large dining table; it allowed us to gather for meals with extended family that was also at OIB that week. Walk to the beach was easy and area around the beach access was never crowded. Betsy responded promptly to messages and provided helpful info.

Perfect location and outdoor space!

We so enjoyed our week here! The location couldn't be more perfect being a short walk from the beach and sitting right on the canal. The outdoor space was perfect for our large family, lots of seating for everyone. The only downside was the cleanliness of the property. The rugs in bathrooms and rooms were dirty and the house needed some overall cleaning once we arrived. Other than that the house worked very well for all 8 of us! Thanks for the great week!

We loved our stay!

Wonderful location, only a few minutes to walk to the beach, great place for families with small children to play. We loved fishing and paddling off the dock.

Great "Home away fro Home"

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. Betsy was very accommodating and there to answer any questions we had. The outside of the home was also very beautiful with multiple sitting areas, and the outdoor shower was amazing. This home appeared to be better maintained than many of the others we saw on our canal. It was so convenient to be able to dock our boat at the house. If looking for a nice, spacious vacation home that feels like "home away from home" I would highly recommend. We hope to be able to stay there again next year if our week is available.

Well-located and Comfortable, Would Return

This home was clean, comfortable, and convenient for our multi-generational family of 6 that stayed for a week. It can easily accommodate a group of 8 just as comfortably. There is easy beach access at the end of Concord St. (about block and a half away). Since we travelled with limited gear, we were glad to find a well-supplied kitchen and were grateful to have use of a few beach chairs and a beach cruiser (bike). For family trips like this I always travel with night lights, but I was pleased to find there were night lights already in place. The house is well designed with space for everyone to spread out both inside and out. There are several outdoor seating areas, and we enjoyed many of our meals on the deck off the kitchen -- looking onto the picturesque canal and facing west toward the sunsets. The loft room is charming and includes its own small deck, but it's worth noting that the stairs to the loft are steep and the head clearance low. The homeowner was friendly and helpful. She promptly answered all my inquiries before and during the trip, and she arranged for our linen rentals, which was a big help.

Beautiful home away from home

We really enjoyed our first stay here. The outside living areas were wonderful and there were so many places for folks to relax without being on top of each other, which was important to our college aged kids. The dock is excellent and very well maintained, which made it so much easier for the "older" folks to access, especially at low tide. We also enjoyed the close walk to the beach and the outside shower for rinsing off sand. The house itself has plenty of room: the 3 bedrooms are tastefully furnished and the kitchen has everything you'd need to cook if you desire while you visit. Our kids and their friends enjoyed this visit very much and we hope to come again!
