We moved back to Southern California from Hawaii. This property was perfectly situated to help us ease back into So-Cal. Ken was extraordinaryly accommodating. Our two kitties were welcomed. I highly recommend this studio.

Perfect location, hospitable host!

I booked Ken’s place for a few weeks and enjoyed my stay immensely. Appreciated the garage parking, close proximity to the beach, and the space itself was a good size for me and lil pup! Ken was a great host and answered all my texts/questions within minutes. Highly recommend staying here if you’re planning on visiting Huntington Beach!

Location location location!

Ken was a great host and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Whenever we had a question he was very quick to respond and help out. We stayed for 1 week and had a great stay. We really liked the location. The neighbourhood is safe and it was cool just to see all the different houses. It was close to everything and we enjoyed exploring Huntington Beach! The place is well put together and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! We would definitely come back again! It was overall a great experience.

Loved it!

We will be back to rent from Ken again next time we are in Huntington Beach. It was just perfect for our needs and Ken was very helpful and available for anything! I suggest this studio for 1 or 2 people. It is small but has everything you need. It was great to be able to use the garage and washer and dryer. We travelled with a small service dog and he also did well in the space!

Wonderful little spot with very gracious hosts!

I visited Huntington Beach for two weeks to observe schools in the area. Ken's studio in the back of his house was a perfect fit. It was clean, spacious for one, and in a quiet neighborhood. It even had a garage! I was also able to bring my small dog which got me out and around the very safe and friendly neighborhood. (Hungtington is also one of the most dog friendly places I have ever been.) It is a short drive to main street and other interesting shops and restaurants. There was a shopping complex three minutes from the house that had a grocery store, wine bar, a number of places to get food and as well as a yoga studio. I also enjoyed driving down the PCH, easy drive to Laguna Beach, Newport and Long Beach. Ken was available for any questions / needs I had, very gracious. I would definitely stay again.

Ken, a gracious host very accommodating and helpful!!! Our Vrbo experience is wonderful clean accommodations for two with nice kitchen area and comfortable quiet location. Close to the beach and several nice restaurants. Thank You Ken for such a wonderful stay. Highly recommend trying it out.

I was in transition buying a home in HB and needed a place to stay, Ken’s studio was just the ticket

I also had a small dog and was perfectly comfortable, safe, ease of communication Ken and in a great neighborhood. The studio was in great condition and had anything I needed. My dog had room outside and felt my car was safe as well.

Construction Getaway

There are 2 units on this property and they are both nice but small. The unit I stayed in is good for 2 people but I don't recommend more than that. I stayed there as a place to getaway from the remodel of my condo but it is about a mile from the beach and the local shopping is good so it is a vacation spot too. The owner, Ken is a good guy and very helpful.

Perfect location

The location is great! I was here to assist family and it was a great place to stay! The apartment had all I needed and was in a quiet neighborhood. Ken was super helpful and friendly and always responded immediately.

A memorable stay at Ken’s, Huntington Beach

We were absolutely thrilled with our accommodations at Ken’s. Impeccably clean, comfortable and five minutes away from almost everything. He was very accommodating and easy to reach with immediate response to any questions we asked. We would absolutely stay here again❤️

I love staying at Ken's!

This is my second stay and everything was again perfect. Ken is always available to help with any mishap, and he is diligent if something needs taking care of. The house is within walking distance to the beach and the Pier, the neighborhood is safe and quiet. A wonderful stay, even with the inclement weather as a backdrop.

Great Location

The location of the property is within walking distance of Starbucks and a shopping center with a few restaurants. It’s a lovely neighborhood and very safe for walking around. Ken is very accommodating and ran off to the store to buy things that I needed. I had to ask for drinking glasses which I would have thought would be standard in rental unit. The kitchen has a regular size fridge with freezer which is nice. What I didn’t like was entering through the garage and the unit is quite dark inside. I came to HB to escape the heat of Phoenix, so I wanted to be outside in the glorious weather but there was no seating set up outside for guests to relax. Noises from above and beside the unit made sleep difficult. A small coffee table or end table next to the loveseat would be helpful to hold a drink in the evening. The dog potty area is up half a dozen steps to the owners backyard. There is no railing. The strong scent of fabric softener on the sheets and pillowcases gave me a headache. Fortunately I brought my own pillow but the scent was still strong. There’s no screen on the backdoor but curiously there is a pet gate, so for ventilation I left the door open and the gate kept my puppy in. However that left room for insects to crawl or fly in. I didn’t enjoy my stay, but maybe the above wouldn’t bother someone else.

Great host, and great location

Ken and May are wonderful hosts, kind and helpful. Their property is a short walking distance to the beach, the pier, and the downtown area, and in a safe and pleasant neighborhood. I was fortunate to be able to book with them as they are always full and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quiet place to put up your feet after a day adventuring.

Perfect location

Huntington Beach has many things going on and this unit is close to all of them. The unit is very clean and cozy and it's private entrance makes it private. The owners bend over backwards to help you with anything. Even leaves a space in the garage for you while he and his family all park outside.
