Best vacation ever!

Great Stay

We loved looking out and seeing the beach. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of essentials to cook a meal. Pool was clean and had plenty of chairs. The location was great to walk to the boardwalk (about 2 miles). Definitely will return!

Great spot, would stay again, but…

Clean, quiet, great location. Good communication with host. Would stay there again. A couple of negatives though. The queen mattress was horrible. Old. Woke up with my back hurting every morning. Could feel the wood and springs. The full size bed my son/fiancé slept in also had an old mattress, but at least there was a topper that helped a little. My college age son slept on the pull out sofa bed. He compared it to his bed at school.

Great place

Very happy with our experience. Great room, absolutely gorgeous view. Accommodations were perfect, plenty of room. Would gladly stay again sometime.

Everything was clean which is unusual for shore properties! All beds very very comfortable!

Great location! Right on beach! Front view of the ocean! Owner is very receptive. Answers emails immediately and credited security on departure date. Kitchen is well supplied. Full sized fridge. Glad I brought my hair dryer (not sure why this is not included in private condo properties). Very good cafe downstairs. Nice people, nice environment. Would definitely stay again. Space for 4 people was perfect.

Great condo!!

This condo was perfect for our family. We loved walking out of our room onto the sun deck that overlooked the pool and beach. There is a restaurant on the premises that was perfect for breakfast or lunch. Jeanette was easy to get in touch with for any questions or concerns. I would definitely stay at this condo again!!

Great ocean and beach

Went with 2 daughters and granddaughters great place for kids always someone to play with. Our particular condo was great neat and clean everything worked. Some other people had c/o .We stayed at the heated pool during the day and down to beach later after some grilled H&H. The one c/o we and others had was they wanted to close the pool at seven which since it was so warm and light out until 9 didn't make sense and they agreed to keep it open until 9 ( at least for the rest of the week). I never vacationed anywhere that they closed the pool at 7. The first night we were there had rowdy party there but they were gone the next day and the rest of the week nice clientele. Usually go to Cape Cod but the girls want to come back next year.

Can't Wait To Return!

Love this property, the staff, the residents and the other vacationers like me. I knew this apartment would be great because I've rented other apartments from Jeannette in the past. This place is great!

Affordable, convenient, scenic vacation spot!

Was featured on HGTV's Bargain Beachfront Properties TV show the weekend we were there! Great price! Neat and clean! Very positive experience, overlooking the beach - watched the sunrise from the comfort of our living room or right outside our door in the Adirondack chairs! Very few people in October so we almost had our own private deck! Comfortable beds. Front room could use an upholstered chair in addition to the dining table and chairs and day bed - maybe rearrange furniture to maximize use of space. Missing remotes for DVD players as well as instructions - would be helpful for future use. Owner accessible for questions. In addition to reminding folks to bring along own linens and towels, also need to bring dishcloth/towel/soap, paper products, garbage bags, and plastic wrap/foil/ziploc bags. Thanks for the great get-away weekend!

A great view. Clean.

Neighbors a bit loud/rowdy over weekend, but friendly and pleasant. Once inside unit, very quiet. Felt very safe. Mattresses comfortable, but better bedframes will improve comfort.

Perfect Location

We had an amazing week at this condo. I could not have asked for anything more. The two things I was worried about beforehand were someone always in my parking spot and it being loud outside of the room with the umbrella tables right there. Neither were a problem in the slightest. The condo is pretty well insulated sound wise as well. You will not get anywhere closer to the beach and the beach here was much nicer than the beach near the boardwalk which was quite frankly gross. The heated pool was a bonus and I liked being away from the hustle and bustle. The room itself fit the four of us nicely and was larger than I anticipated. The beds were comfortable and the unit was quite clean. We also enjoyed using the grills available to the condo. I felt quite safe staying here alone with my three children. If our dance competition is here again I will book this room again with no hesitation as soon as the dates are announced.

Perfect Ocean Front View

Thank You Jeannette for making our vacation so fantastic. What a wonderful view of the ocean and the sunrise. Clean, clean rooms. Very comfortable beds. The neighbors and other owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The skies were overcast most of this week but the heated pool was clean, warm and inviting. We had a group of six and the space was tight, but the huge patio right out the front door allowed for us to utilize the outside space as well as inside to play cards, board games, eat, have an evening drink and morning coffee. This unit is a great place to stay for the family and great owner to deal with. We hope to return again. Thank you, The Milligans

Another wonderful vacation stay at The Madrid!

This was our second year staying at the Madrid and we could not be happier. The place just has one of the best locations in Wildwood Crest, ocean view, right on the beach, by the pool, close to parks and the boardwalk is a short ride away. Hope to come back year after year to keep making unforgettable memories with our kids. Thank you Jeannette for allowing us to stay at your little beach place, 'til next season!

our weekend

the condo was very nice. we were a little crowded,but there was 6 of us,but we only stayed 2 nights. It suited us for our purpose. Four people would be a better fit. The location was great! The beach was right there and a nice pool and deck to eat outside.. I would go back again!

Awesome summer getaway!

We loved this place! We rented two units for our family vacation and were very pleased to find the apt to be very comfortable, clean and very nicely decorated. This unit in particular has a great location in the building, right off a patio on the second floor. The views here are amazing! and you cant beat the location, right on the beach! pool area is great, building is very well kept and everything is very clean. Kids had such a great time here! Owner is nice and accommodating, as well as all the staff working onsite. Our family enjoyed the stay here, we loved everything about the place and plan on coming back again! thank you!!!

Great bargain

Directly on ocean. Very nice condo. The motel it is in is a little run-down, but you can't beat the price for ocean-front. Outdoor pool area very nice. Laundry facility and game room on same level. Took our 2 and 4-yr-old for a family vacation and place was perfect. A little small for 4 adults. I would recommend for 2 people or 4 if you don't mind close proximity.

I just love this place. There is a nice sized patio to sit outside, look at the water, or eat a meal. The view of the ocean is amazing especially since this place is right on the beach. There is also a nice little restaurant on the first floor with good food and really friendly owners. I have stayed here a few times with one to four other people at times and there was always enough room for everyone to sleep and move around. Every time I have stayed here it has always been clean like you are the first people to stay there. Also there is always something fun to do whether it be going to the boardwalk or biking through town. This is a favorite place of mine and I am definitely going to stay here again :)

Beautiful Weekend

Our stay was an amazing one to say the least. I was so happy to see that on arrival the space was absolutely spotless. We were rained out at first but were happy to see the whether clear up by the second and third day. What was great was the proximity to the beach as in t the ocean is right outside your door. An Added bonus was that there is a great restaurant on the first floor that served up fresh food and was all homemade. The pool was nice as the ocean was way to cold, the pool was nice and warm. You could tell that Jeannette (the owner) really cared about your stay and was easy to deal with. Everything seemed brand new and would definitely go back again. 5 STARS!!!
