It was amazing. House was nice and in a place where we could hang out and be a family. Accommodations in the house were great. Enjoyed pool,hot tub and beach. Nice beds very comfortable and relaxing. We had a great stay.

The house clean, big, and even closer to the beach than what we thought. When we had questions we messaged the host and they got right back to us. Would definitely stay again!

4th of July annual vacay

We would definitely stay here again. The short walk to the beach was perfect. The only issue we had was the deck needed some attention. One the the boards kept falling off leaving exposed nails and it was a bit splintery. But the house was cozy, nice beachy decor, air conditioning kicked butt! We loved it, highly recommend.

I'd like to give 4.5 stars! My family and I had a great time at this large home in an excellent location. Family loved the pool and hot tub, and all of the provided beach gear was so helpful! The host was responsive and kind. Sofa bed was not able to be used due to its condition, so we had to reconfigure some sleeping arrangements and the dryer may need a heating element as it wouldn't dry our clothes, but overall, we had a great stay and made memories we won't forget!

Perfect getaway for the family!

We loved our stay in Rodanthe! Great location- quiet neighborhood, close walk to the beach, yet not too far from restaurants and activities! We spent a lot of time in the pool- kids loved it- and at the beach- there was hardly anyone else at the beach where we were! Loved that too! House was clean, and had plenty of space for our family group of 9! Kitchen was well-stocked and we were able to cook multiple meals over the week for dinner without any issues! Great communication before and during the trip. Thanks for sharing your home with us- hope to be back in the future!

Close to beach, great for a family get-away

Well, it never happened! After months of anticipation, Hurricane Erin decided to change our plans. We didn’t go and are glad we stayed away given the evacuation order that would have sent us packing the day after we were to arrive. But Julie our host stayed in contact not just for our trip but to let us know she was okay as well. She also realized our disappointment and made us a generous offer which we will take her up on during the off season. But we also know that Mad Hatteras would have been great for our family gathering and look forward to trying again next year, minus the hurricane.

Good house

The house itself is a little on the older side and the cleaning company could do a better job but the location of the house is perfect for short walks to the beach and the pool and hot tub were perfect for our family! Overall it was a great stay with a great host!

Great vacation

The house is comfortable with all the amenities needed for a great outer banks stay. Bonnie is wonderful to work with. The pool and hot tub were a great plus. Short walk to beach and pier. Quiet beaches. 5 bedrooms with plenty of space for all, amazing amount of decks to view ocean and sound. On a quiet cul-de-sac. Staying here is a great idea.

If asked for constructive criticism, we would have to say that the couches were uncomfortable and there was not enough couch space for the number of people that would be staying in this house. Other than that, we loved the place!

Girls Trip

There were 7 of us and we were very comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was great for cooking meals and the big dining table was a great place to gather. The pool and hot tub were phenomal features. The outside shower was also great! The beach is a very short walk from the house. Self check in was a bit of a challenge but the host was very attentive and helpful with any issues. We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend highly!

Excellent Property

The home was absolutely wonderful. Communication with the homeowner was great, and it was a very easy check in and check out process. There was plenty of room for everyone, everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided and the house was very clean. The location to the beach was amazing, it was awesome to be able to sit on the decks and hear the waves. Our intention was to be able to have a get away without having to be out in public too much, and we were definitely able to do that. This was my family's first time in Outer Banks and we will definitely be back.

This was a great property. When we first checked in, we noticed that the house didn’t appear to have been cleaned from previous guests. We called the property manager and she was super responsive and the cleaners were there within minutes. We spent a little time on the beach while they cleaned the house. I was very impressed with their responsiveness and the quality of the cleaning. It had been a misunderstanding in their schedule, and I know these things happen. This property was in a great location, just enough away from the main road so there is no traffic noise. It’s not directly on the beach, but sitting on the porch you can see the beach and definitely hear the waves crashing. But, it’s also close enough to walk to the main road where there’s a couple of good restaurants, kitty hawk kites, an ice cream store. There was plenty to do without having to go anywhere. I’d recommend stopping in at the grocery store in Nags Head before coming down. Not a lot of options on groceries close by, but Waves Market and Deli has most things you probably need, including some great deli items. The house has a nice little wagon in the outdoor storage, which was great for taking stuff to the beach. The hot tub was nice and relaxing at the end of the day, especially being out on the beach all day every day. We almost didn’t use the pool at all, the beach is just so great.

We have enjoyed visiting the Outer Banks for the past 15 years. We have stayed far North and far South on the island. When we decided to purchase our own beach house, we knew Rodanthe was where we wanted to be. We hope you fall in love with Rodanthe just like we did.

We chose this spot because of the special location. It is in a non-commercial area and never crowded even in the highest season. We love that you can sit on the widows walk and see the ocean and the sound. Almost every room in the house has a water view.

You can easily walk to dinner or to the beach.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The neighbors are great. The views are amazing. Easy walk to the beach and lots of space where you can relax, even with a full house, you will NEVER feel crowded. There is a generous grassy back and front yard in which to play. If the ocean's not kid friendly one day, the pool and hot tub are the perfect solution!
