It was a great house in a beautiful location. One down side was the lack of internet access for streaming tv, especially during the World Cup. The hotspot just can’t handle live streaming. I understand getting cable internet/TV service is difficult in that area, but there are services such as Starlink that may work.Another issue was the lack of A/C during what will likely be the warmest time of the year (over July 4th). Air conditioning is not listed in the propriety details, but a note specifying this would be helpful especially for those not from the northern Michigan area.

Thank you for the five-star review. We're glad Western Star Ahwatukee was a great house in a beautiful location. I’m sorry the internet couldn’t support live streaming during the World Cup — thank you for the Starlink suggestion; we’ll evaluate options to improve streaming capability. We also appreciate the note about A/C and will update the listing to clearly state the lack of central air so future guests aren’t surprised. We’d be happy to host you again.

Great location and more!

The location was great - less than a mile to highways and everything we needed (grocery, restaurants, etc) The property was well kept and the property owner/manager was very responsive both before and during the trip.

I'm so happy to hear you liked our home enough to return. We apologize the pool umbrella was broken, there was a big storm right before you got here and we didn't learn of it being broken until you checked in. I'm sorry we couldn't get a new one in time for you to enjoy, but we have since gotten it replaced! We'd love to have you back!

Thank you for your insightful comments. We checked and did not indicate this home has a heated pool. Is there something we are missing as to why your expectations were not met? Elite Vacation Rentals. Could not agree more, the trail system is awesome as is the home.

Great house, great location

This was the perfect house for our weekend visiting family. We enjoyed the pool and the house. We especially enjoyed exploring the desert wilderness that is right “next door.” We even saw coyotes, rabbits, and javelinas, all from the comfort of the back patio. We would stay here again.

Great stay!

We had a great stay here in Phoenix! Beds were comfortable, house was clean and well maintained. Pool was great in the evening after the sun warmed the water. We took full advatage of the weather and spent a lot of time in the covered backyard. Watching the bikers and hikers on south mountains in the backyard was a plua too! Great location to so many things and still quiet. Will definitely be staying here when we visit again.
