If you are looking to spend your vacation on the beach, then this is your rental! Check the location - you won't get closer than this. My large Maine 'cottage' was renovated over the winter of 2013 with new wrap porch, expanded kitchen, laundry, and first floor bathroom. It was renovated again in 2020 with two new bathrooms on second floor.

There are unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean and only a few steps away from the white sands of Gooch's Beach in Kennebunk, Maine. Ride the waves, explore the tide pools, enjoy miles of ocean front biking, surfing, walk to the playground, sign up for a whale watching trip or just relax on the beach. The property is a short pleasant walk to the well known Kennebunkport Dock Square and Lower Village areas, where there are plenty of shops, boutiques and wonderful restaurants to enjoy.

The house has a open deck for dining and sunning, as well as a large closed porch for chillier nights. The dining room, kitchen and living room on the first floor provide vacationers with plenty of space and ocean views from all rooms. Wake to the sound (and the view!) of the waves from any of the 4 second floor bedrooms. The master bedroom with queen bed has a in suite half bath and connects to a second bedroom which has a king bed and full bath. The third bedroom has a double and a twin (ideal or family with young children) and the fourth has two single beds. There is a shared bath with tub on the second floor. The attic space is available and has beds for overflow guests or adventurous types.

We had a fabulous vacation in July at this amazing house. The location is perfect to stay in this area for hanging at Goochs beach and shopping and dining in Kennebunkport (walking distance). The house was fully stocked with everything you need for a great stay which was very convenient for us traveling up from Georgia. We would definitely rebook if we are ever bank in the area.

Perfection

Beautiful home and incredible location. We loved being able to wake up and smell the ocean and hear the waves. Gooch’s beach is perfect for little kids! We all slept like a baby (even the babies!) thank you Pam!

Amazing stay!

The Clubhouse is a true gem, nestled just off Gooch’s beach you couldn’t ask for a better location. It’s spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and only a few feet from the beach. Pamela was wonderful and fast to respond to our questions. Check in and out were seamless - just an overall exceptional experience. We can’t wait to return!

Awesome location!!

The home has a great unobstructed view of the ocean, sitting on front porch and deck was so lovely! It has been re-done but has kept the beach charm. Spacious and very comfortable, nice big kitchen, plenty of storage. Would definitely return

Perfect home for a family to be at the beach all the time they want…and only a stroll into town. We loved the different spaces to play games and connect with family.

Great stay in a perfect location

We had a wonderful vacation at Pam's beach house. The location right at Gooch's Beach is absolutely perfect. It was so nice with two little kids to just be able to just bop back and forth between the beach and the house so easily. Not knowing the area, we felt so lucky to wind up where we did. Gooch's is both beautiful and so convenient to anything you'd want to do in the area. We rented bikes and it's only a 5 minute ride into town or over to Mother's Beach which has a great playground and fun rocks and tide pools to explore. The house itself is great. It's got a nice, open kitchen, a lovely front porch and sun room for enjoying the beach view, and a comfy living room and bedrooms. The house also has beach chairs, towels, and toys, all the linens you'd need, and a well stocked kitchen. And Pam was so helpful and easy to communicate with. We'd absolutely stay here again!

Great trip, great location

Firstly I cannot speak highly enough of the owner, Pam, and the communications. It was excellent. The property was also perfect. A great location, very close to the beach, and also a short drive to town. There is not one thing I would change about the trip and we will return next year.

Truly Memorable

My family and I had a truly memorable stay at the clubhouse. The ocean view and location was absolutely gorgeous. If i could throw well, I could hit the ocean with a stone's throw from the great outside deck, where I spent most of my time. The upstairs was a little dated and full of New England character. The kitchen was big and spacious and well equipped. We lucked out with a week of fabulous weather. I would highly recommend !

Always a good time!

My family and I have been renting the clubhouse for years. The house is the perfect size for a large or small family everyone has their own space. The beach is literally right across the street makes your day back and forth very convenient. There’s nothing like waking up and enjoying a cup of coffee on the front deck with the views of the water! House is always clean and the new washer dryer is a big plus!!Pam has been nothing but great to deal with very accommodating and understanding! You won’t be disappointed here!

wonderful family reunion

We came to Maine to be together and remember the many years we had spent here with Mom/Nana. Between this house and the other one we used we had plenty of space to spend together. There was lots of flexible space, including a bedroom on the 3rd floor. Pros: incredible location. We have long enjoyed Gooch's beach and were delighted with how close it is to this house. The views of the beach from the deck and the porch as well as from two upstairs bedrooms are lovely. the eating space -- in the dining room as well as the porch & deck in the sunnier weather accommodated our family beautifully. It was very nice to have the small children outside so we did not worry about food spills on the dining room flooring. Living room space -- we gathered as a family morning and evening, and the space in the house was wonderful for the whole group. At other times we were able to take advantage of cozy smaller spots. The kitchen is well equipped. Downsides/suggestions: The bathrooms are unusual -- one en suite bathroom with a shower but no sink; another ensuite bathroom with no shower. The downstairs bathroom, as the owner noted, is having a problem with water seeping under the wood floor. This necessitates special attention when using that shower. Locks: (or the fact that there are none) I think locks on the bathroom doors as well as the bedroom doors would be helpful in having the small children not walk in unexpectedly. We made the decision to have the newlywed couple over at the other house. Expectation on clean up: Somehow we didn't see or didn't realize that we were expected to wash, dry, fold, and put away all the linens and towels we used. With all the work of packing up in time for a 10:00 am checkout, that was difficult to do. We finally thought of asking, and the owner told us we could leave the last load in the dryer -- getting as much done as possible. We LOVE having the linens provided -- makes packing incredibly much easier, especially for those who are trying to fit everything into a carry-on -- but needing to wash everything on leaving day is tricky. We all enjoyed the time immensely. Thank you!!

Couldn’t be a more perfect beach house!

The clubhouse was the most perfect place for a family weekend on the beach. The only thing wrong was that we all wished it had been a week. The location is ideal and the home is cozy, fresh, well equipped, and truly wonderful in all ways.

Fantastic location and views!

We spent two fantastic weeks here. There was a great feeling of space in the Clubhouse - we were 4 for most of the holiday with an additional 4 for a long weekend - and with a dining room, sitting room and a porch we felt very comfortable. Our children (5&3) loved the proximity to the beach (really a two minute walk) so we could come home to eat and relax and go back later in the day again. The kitchen had everything that we needed so we didn't feel the need to eat out often. We loved it so much we are coming back again in 2014!

My husband and I purchased this property in 2011 although I have been coming to the Kennebunkport area since I was a child. We love this area for all that it has to offer for activities - most especially for the pristine ocean and clean Maine air. We also love this house and are very excited to make it a comfortable spot for our family members and renters to enjoy.
