Rolando and Family, So glad you enjoyed our little slice of Heaven, Sand Dancer! It is a peaceful and wonderful island and we like to think our house fits right it with that as well. Being so close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants is our “Fun Thing” when we are there. Or a combination of the 2 and being able to walk down the beach to the restaurants that are right on the beach to watch the spectacular sunsets!! Please do come back and visit soon!

Walking along the beaches to go to dinner after watching sunset is one of our favorite things to do on the island so we hope you got to experience it as well. Sooo many good restaurants on the island and withing walking distance or as you mentioned a very short trolley ride and it's free!

Mary, Thank you for taking the time to review Sand Dancer, I’m happy your family enjoyed staying there for the Holidays. We also love our home’s proximity to the beach and several great dining choices including Slim’s Place (their bacon wrapped meatloaf is a must). Our newly remodeled home has an open concept perfect for preparing meals and rehashing the day’s events with the family. Our home is well insulated from outside noise plus that part of the Island becomes quiet very early. I’m sure that Ellie, Suzanne and Bob would love to hear back from you when planning your trip back to the Island!

We try to furnish items to make our guests’ beach vacation an outstanding one. When we visit we love that we do not have to cross any streets with the kiddo’s to get to our gorgeous beaches and watch the fabulous sunsets! Dale and Family, Thanks for taking the time to review Sand Dancer! We know your time is valuable and do appreciate your efforts. We do feel the remodel of the home is wonderful and we are thankful to our contract Mark Kimball for doing such a fantastic job. It sounds like you took full advantage of the excellent location of Sand Dancer and enjoyed everything Anna Maria has to offer from the free trolley to the great beaches and wonderful shops and restaurants. Sand Dancer is located on the corner of Oak and Gulf drive so there is some traffic during the day on Gulf Drive although there is a 25 mile per hour speed limit so it has never bothered us at all when we are in the home. At night the traffic is minimal as they “role up the streets around 10” but we have decided to put up a barrier fence along the corner area so it affords a bit more privacy when you are outside. We had hoped to do this a bit sooner but the home has been booked and we did not want to disturb our guests! Hope to see you again at the new and improved Sand Dancer!

Hi Jen, I am truly at a loss for the this review. We agree the home is very cute and well kept. We greatly apologize for what seems to be such a subpar review of the home and our our services. You had reached out on Sunday via text message on New Year's Eve regarding the lamp to which we promptly responded with a sincere apology and we would be in touch after the holiday. I went back through all our correspondence and didn't see another message from you at all. I do apologize that I personally dropped the ball and didn't check back in with you but if at any point if you would have reached out and kindly reminded us, we would have happily stopped by and addressed the lamp as well as any other concerns you had. This is the first I am hearing about any of the other concerns you listed. It appears the linens may have gotten mixed up and our cleaning crews are excellent and would have happily addressed any needs you had. We will look to remove the extra throw rugs from the home and follow up with maintenance regarding checking the toaster (we would have gladly brought you a new one as we keep them in stock) and look at the hot and cold for washing machine as that is again a new reported issue for us. We apologize you felt our service was non-existent but during your stay we responded on a holiday within an hour to your only text message to us, we also did leave upon your arrival a bottle of champagne and new year's eve goodies to ring in the new year and during your stay we sent an an email to you regarding information for the incoming inclement weather we were forecasted to have. All of which are services very few other companies on the island provide. I apologize sincerely we forgot to reach back out about the lamp. We wish you would have given us a better opportunity to assist and serve you. Thank you.
