BOOKING NOW FOR SUMMER/FALL 2026!

Welcome to "Coral Escape"! We are located in the wonderful beach town of Avon on Hatteras Island, NC. Coral Escape has amazing ocean views and is steps from the beach! Boardwalk is literally 4 houses down.

We have completely renovated our home with all new flooring, appliances, furniture, luxury hotel mattresses and more. Coral Escape features "Vintage Coastal Charm" throughout the house. In colors of Sea Glass and Coral throughout, Coral Escape is definitely a place to relax. With it's gorgeous ocean views from the multi level wrap arounds NEW decks, to down time in the hammocks there is nothing not to love about our home. Relax with a glass of wine in our 8 person hot tub while the kids play a round of Pirate Mini Golf located in the backyard. For more fun, enjoy the pool table on the upstairs covered deck or play a game of basketball. There's a new sea themed hopscotch and tic-tac-toe in the carport area. Enjoy the close proximity to everything, including within .25 miles, a Food Lion, Duck Donuts, Arcade, Pizza Place and not to forget the islands best hamburger "Bros Sandwich Shack". We are less than 1 mile from the Avon Fishing Pier. There is a spacious double outside shower and the beach access is 3 houses down, less than a 2 minute walk to our sandy beach.

Each guest will enjoy a complimentary Welcome Bag filled with an assortment of local goodies, i.e. wine, snacks, beach items and other beach necessities.

Amazing Experience

Great location with a short beach walk. Hot tub on rainy days, plenty of shopping, close to Equine adventures horseback riding, only 50 minutes to Nags head golf links. Could spend weeks!

Great experience! The home is beautifully decorated, clean, and the kitchen is well-stocked. Beach access is just a couple of houses down. Great views from the porch. Victoria was wonderful and very responsive! I would absolutely stay again!

Nice house, Avon is a good spot on the OBX. Traveled up to Nags Head and down to Hatteras a couple times. Beach is a very short walk. Pool table, mini golf, and hot tub were big hits at the house. Property manager was very nice and helpful.

Great Location!

House was accurately described and pictured. Location is walking distance to Dollar Tree and Food Lion which was super convenient for us. Very comfortable for a week of sun, sand, surf, pool, and catching up with great friends!

Fabulous beach vacation!

My family had an amazing time at this beach house! We loved the decor, porches, hammocks, hot tub, and super comfortable beds. We really appreciated how close the grocery store and restaurants were (within walking distance!). The beach was also very easy to get to, and we felt comfortable leaving our beach tent unattended there. Victoria, the owner, went above and beyond to provide helpful suggestions and extra touches, and she is extremely responsive. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone and look forward to staying here again!

Great family vacation

The eleven of us had a great time. Veronica (the owner) was wonderful - responded immediately to any questions or concerns we had. The community pool is great, and just a hop, skip, and a jump from the house. Close to restaurants and grocery stores The boardwalk to the beach is ony two or three houses down.

Check in and check out we’re seamless, and Victoria was a courteous and responsive host!The spaces were very clean, with great activities for rainy days. The two ground floor showers, and the additional entrances to each bedroom from the second floor made beach returns a breeze.The third floor’s open plan made plenty of space for cooking, dining, and entertaining with ocean views. Big plus to have the third floor deck that offered moonlit view of the water, plus the additional dining place and screened-in pool table.

Amazing beach house

We had a great week at Victoria’s house. The house is located on a very calm and quiet cul-de-sac, behind the house there is a Food Lion and others stores which saved time driving to get groceries. The beach access is a few houses down. The house was very clean, plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 kids. Well stocked kitchen, lots of games and activities inside and outside the house. We will definitely plan to come back!

Nice House and Location

This house was everything it said it would be. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. Nine of us stayed in the house with plenty of room. The walk to the beach was an easy walk. The decks had plenty of seating. The kids loved the pool table. It was very clean, and we would stay there again.

Family Vacation 2024

Property was clean and well set up. Plenty of kitchen stuff, bedding and towels. Kids enjoyed the putt putt and the walk to the beach was close and very convenient. Communication with the property owner was very easy and the response was immediate. Would definitely recommend.

Family vacation

Great house with many amenities. The owner communicated very well and was quick to answer questions and also provided suggestions for local services. I highly recommend staying here. The beach access is close and the grocery store and some very good restaurants are within walking or biking distance. We enjoyed playing mini golf and pool at the house with the added bonus of reading in the hammocks! The house is beautiful.

Family Vacay

Victoria was a great communicator. Easy check in, immaculate home, short walk to beach, great weather. Our family included 3 generations - there was plenty of room for ALL of us. We loved the hammocks on the deck. The pool table and hot tub were a hit - nice to come back after a full day at the beach. Kitchen is well stocked - anything you need was provided. Ice cream truck came by several nights- kids loved that. House is close to a Food Lion and restaurants. House looked just like photos.

Victoria- the homeowner- is a very lovely person and easy to work with.Her property is wonderful! Easy access to the beach. Front side of house faces the ocean. You have views of the ocean between the other homes across the street. The spaces between the other homes are relatively large so it is easy to see the ocean. She has a wonderful setup with pretty much anything you could think of to do at her house, for both children and adults miniature golf, horseshoes, cornhole......Unfortunately for my family we only got to stay for two days before we had to evacuate because of Hurricane Erin.We look forward to going back next year.

10 days at Coral Escape

We really enjoyed out time at this home. The location is great. The boardwalk to the dunes and steps over the dune are not excessive, my late 70's parents were able to manage it. The property is well maintained, and comfortable. The communication with the homeowner is awesome, and there are a lot of fun things to do and small businesses to visit in Avon and the other towns on Hatteras. From the nearby pier we saw large stingrays and a sea turtle, a highlight of the trip. Make sure you check out the Tuesday Farmers Market through the summer. We will definitely be back

Excellent View for Ocean Block

We loved the decks and the layout of the house. The location of the hot tub was set perfectly and the added screened in porch was so much fun with the pool table. The top floor with kitchen and family room was airy, bright and beach. While there isn’t an open basement floor for kids to play, the decks and flat grassy back yard gave that outlet for the kids. You get what you see!

Absolutely Amazing!

The house is stunning and Vickie was a pleasure! We had such a great time. The walk to the beach was quick and easy, Food Lion and the dollar tree is right around the corner, and the house came stocked with games and DVD's. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, we came for Thanksgiving so that made a world of a difference! The view is just beautiful and we watched the sun rise over the ocean every morning. We have already started talking about planning our next trip 😊

Perfect spot!

Location was exactly as described, decor was perfect, kitchen was well-appointed. Beds were super comfy, living room was perfect for lounging. Plenty of outdoor seating for relaxing and eating. Pool table was great, hot tub was perfect. Some small issues during check-in, no one at fault, owner was incredibly helpful and accessible. She went out of her way to make sure that everything was as promised and we had everything we needed for a perfect week. Will definitely return next year.

Very relaxing getaway in the outer banks

The owners are doing a really nice job with this home. It was very comfortable and stylishly decorated with everything a family would need. :) The location is perfect on a nice quiet street but still close to everything.

Much needed time away!

Overall, the house was great! Vickie was very responsive and an excellent host. Two sets of grandparents, my husband and I, and our two young boys had a great week here. They did virtual school with no Internet issues and we were able to run back and forth to the lovely beach during all their breaks because it was so close!

It is absolutely gorgeous from the inside all the way outside to our new Pirate Putt Putt for the kids to enjoy! We can't wait to share it with you!
