Large seating areas, spacious counter centric chef's kitchen, coffee/espresso bar, second floor entertainment kitchen with multi temperature wine fridge, projection screen TV, hot tub, in-ground pool, 60'x120' tennis court w basketball and pickle ball courts, outdoor fire pit, gazebo and two 'frog prince' ponds. Neighborhood turkeys and wildlife will come for a visit and fawn will grace you with their presence. This will be a truly memorable stay!

Our home has four floors of interest:
The main floor offers generous dimensions in our fully stocked kitchen-stainless appliances and anything you'll need to prepare delicious meals. The great room and dining space offer ample seating and the right ambience for enjoying your meals and your company.
The primary bedroom with a king size bed has an en suite bathroom and views of the gardens and pond in the back. The cozy guest bedroom has a queen bed and the main bathroom offers a fully tiled wet room shower. The outdoor deck leads to fresh air seating and our 6 person hot tub and will lead you on a path to the in-ground pool, tennis court and outdoor gazebo.

The second floor has a large tiled TV/gathering space for comfortable lounging, endless movie streaming on our projector/screen TV and plenty of seating for instruction or even workshops. A wet bar with wine fridge and refrigerator are also within this same space. A few steps down brings you to the loft seating area with counter/desk, bar stools, a sleeping sofa and a charging station for all your conveniences. A full tiled bathroom with lots of storage is available on this floor. There is an outside entrance from this level that will take you to the 2nd floor wrap around deck and outdoor seating area. View the pool, tennis court and gardens from this vantage point.

A second interior staircase brings you to the third floor which has an open loft, overlooking the floor below and a full wall of picture windows with a broad view of the gardens on the property. There is a desk with it's own charging station and seating on a couch sleeper. On this floor there are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed...they are private and cozy, with generous closet storage space. There is a couch sleeper in one of these bedrooms.

The lower floor is accessed from a set of stairs off the kitchen and also has outside access thru a downstairs door. There is another bedroom with two full/double beds, and a big screen TV, perfect for the children. Playstation and large HD television will capture the little one's attention. The laundry room is available on the lower level, with a high efficiency washer and dryer and a generous folding station and storage area for your personal belongings. The garage under the house is accessed from this bedroom and is available for storage of luggage and ski equipment during your stay.

Central air conditioning and heat, mini split units and free-standing A/C units are available for comfortable temperature control throughout the house, any time of year.

Our home is situated on just over 2 acres of developed spaces, and provides something for everyone. Do you play tennis, basketball or pickle ball? Do you want to read a book in a chaise lounge chair poolside? Have a relaxing soak in the hot tub, grill a delicious meal for the family, or just take in the sights and sounds of nature...birdsong...or the ever present sound of silence. And it is just perfect as a home base for film and production crew who need to relax and unwind at the end of the day.

We have recently rented the property for a Masterclass shoot, featuring author Neil Gaiman discussing how Tolkien had been a powerful influence on his work. The property lends itself to photography and can be the perfect setting for such creative work.

Mature Pawpaw trees on our property provide shade and an end of season harvest...they are delicious. They are exotic-tasting fruit, across between banana, mango and a hint of tangy passion fruit, though native to North America, they are unusual to see in such size. We hope you'll enjoy them!

We are a short walk and even shorter drive into the village of Woodstock. Visit the local Hannaford grocery store, the closest health food store with local produce and delicious prepared foods is Sunflower Market. Adam's Fairacre Farms is in Kingston and is a must to shop for meats, seafood, cheeses, local produce, baked goods and so many already prepared foods. Also, one of our favorites is Mother Earth Storehouse in Kingston...such a healthy salad bar and prepared lunch and dinner options, you'll certainly want to stock up for your stay. Our House Manual will have many good recommendations for you, this is just a short list to get you started.

Night life in Woodstock will be memorable with live music and theatrical productions. Don't miss Levon Helm Studios, the Colony Ballroom, Maverick Concerts, Station Bar & Curio, and Bearsville Theatre. With so many great restaurants and things to do in the area, you'll be planning your whole month in advance! Whether it's spring, summer, fall or winter...there is so much to experience in the Hudson Valley. Belleayre, Hunter and Windham Mountains are all within a 30 min drive from the house so plan a winter visit for lots of skiing too! If you're in the mood for golf, we are fortunate to be very close to the Woodstock Golf Course. This historic property has a 'jewel' of a course, streamside dining and a professional pro shop. They offer an opportunity to play their course for only an out of town driver's license and a receipt from a local vacation rental or hotel booking. Please check that out!
