Holmes Beach Cottage Steps to the Beach with Heated Pool!

Welcome to the Starfish Shack located just a few houses from the Gulf beaches of Anna Maria Island. The Starfish Shack is a ground level half duplex with 2 bedrooms, 1 and a half baths, and its own private full sun patio surrounded by tropical landscaping where you can enjoy the heated pool, outdoor shower and Weber grill. During the day enjoy the beach with the provided beach wagon, chairs and umbrella located in the garage. Inside you will find an open living area and kitchen which is great for easy entertaining. In the evening, retreat to the master suite where you will enjoy the comfortable bed complete with 600 thread count prima cotton wrinkle free sheets. This home includes a fully equipped kitchen, linens, towels and beach towels.

Lizzie Lu's Island Retreat is a full-service property manager on Anna Maria Island to ensure our guests enjoy some of the nicest, well stocked homes on the island. For an additional charge, we offer GEM cars among other services. Rest assured we are here to assist as needed in the most efficient manner possible.
While vacationing on Anna Maria Island, please adhere to our local rules and regulations for our residential community which are included in our homes as well as our arrival information.

City ordinance requires us to inform you that you are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.

Starfish Shack is a gem

This duplex with wonderful private pool and outdoor shower is a gem! Very clean, very tastefully decorated, and close to the. Beach. We loved our stay here and are coming back, yay!

Excellent stay!

We really enjoyed this home. It was the perfect size for our family of 3, nicely updated and super clean.It felt very much like a home away from home. We had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, nice sheets and towels and a kitchen stocked with most essentials. Located well in a residential area, which I really liked, but right around the corner from the beautiful beach.Management was very attentive and responded right away to answer any questions. We really enjoyed our Gem cart, which was in the garage upon arrival. It was fun to explore the island. I was very impressed with how Lizzy Lu’s does business! You can tell they really care about their properties and the guest experience. Pool and patio area was very tropical and cozy.

Week of relaxation

This property was absolutely perfect! The host was more than helpful. The small touches everywhere made our stay comfortable. Loved the private pool with the tranquil backyard setting. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and save on eating out. Will definitely book with this host again.

Girls getaway!!

This our 2nd year in a row doing a girls getaway at AMI and we loved our stay because our house was so fantastic!! From the moment we arrived until we left we just had a wonderful relaxing escape. I can’t recommend this place more!

Everything Needed for an Awesome Vacation

The property was exactly as advertised and the priority managers have thought of everything needed for a vacation. The property was very clean and well maintained. It was also nice to see a kitchen appointed with decent utensils and equipment and not cheap flimsy stuff. I highly recommend the $50 for the beach cabana package! We will return!

Paradise! Would love to stay here again!

We loved our stay on Anna Maria Island and this house was perfect. Property was in a great location – couple minutes to walk to the beach and had a fantastic private pool and fenced in yard. The house had everything you would need including small appliances in the kitchen and a garage filled with all beach gear you might need. Lizzie Lou’s was very professional throughout the whole process.

Beautiful, well maintained and clean!

The Starfish Shack was perfect! It was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool, the walk to the beach was easy and short, and we were in a nice neighborhood. The house had everything we needed and the beach supplies were great! We've stayed in other nice houses but the beach equipment was cheap or broken. The wagon was newer and the beach chairs were very nice! We would stay here again in the future for sure! The house is small but it didn't feel cramped. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 small children. I highly recommend this property!

Amazing location !

Großartige Umgebung zu entspannen. Tolle, brandneue Duplexeinheit mit eigenem Pool und Garage. Super Ausstattung. Praktisch alles vorhanden, auch Badehandhandtücher! Nach 38 Jahren Erfahrungen mit Florida Urlauben war es das schönste Fleckchen Erde in Florida was wir kennen gelernt haben.
