Where Friends Feel at Home | 8 ppl | IC102

Up to ten guests can stay in the great vacation home at Put-in-Bay. There are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Guests can park their vehicles in the driveway, with space for up to two vehicles. At the rear of the home is the main entrance, which has a convenient coded door lock. Instead of hassling with keys, each of your guests can enter and exit as they please. Once inside, the eat-in kitchen is very welcoming with its full size appliances and dining area. All of the items you'll need to prepare a meal are provided; just bring the food and an appetite. The living room is next with a television with satellite service. Two sliding glass doors provide ample natural light to the home, as well as an exit to the outdoor deck. A propane grill and seating areas complete this space.The Island Club at Put-in-Bay is your choice of lodging on the island. Stay together in one home, instead of a bunch of hotel rooms. This home is a great choice for your next trip to the gem of the Lake Erie Islands, South Bass Island.
The weekends at Put in Bay Ohio are popular for the nightlife and getting away from the daily work grind without going too far from home. During the week, you can relax and enjoy Put-In-Bay's slower pace in a family friendly atmosphere. With Island Club Rentals, you can visit Put-in-Bay and enjoy your own home and you can even rent a golf cart onsite to get around. Poorly maintained

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: To be candid, the lodging is poorly maintained and there are several things that need be fixed prior to the next stay. This includes: unpainted patch work on the walls, broken door hinges, removed trim on the doorway entrance and in the living room, broken drawer in the kitchen, broken vegetable tray in the fridge, dirty kitchen ware. My guests and I very surprised as the it did not seem to accurately reflect the photos and reviews online. It was overall low value considering the overall cost and the additional fees (damage waiver, linens, taxi, golf cart fees). I will unfortunately be unable to recommend this stay and would not consider returning. On a positive note, the site was quiet, good location, and staff communication was good. Unfortunately it does not make up for the underlying property issues.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The island experienced very rainy, stormy weather the days of our visit and we had to go home a day early. The cabin kept us safe and dry and served its purpose. The furniture was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was functional but can use some repair (large hole in counter by sink)(drawers stuck, or unable to close all the way). Looks like other updates (drywall repairs) are in process throughout the unit and just waiting on completion and paint. The unit needs a cleaning brush and cooking utensils for the grill. Overall, the cabin was in a great location and did everything we needed.

102 Not Up to Normal Standards

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been staying at the put in bay island club homes for probably 10 years now as they are super convenient and accommodate my family well. However, this year we stayed in unit number 102. It was definitely not up to your normal standards. There were holes in the walls, mold, and the kitchen was not well equipped. There was a newer grill but no grilling utensils.

Needs updates

The place we stayed needed updated badly. The drawers in the kitchen barely opened. There was a nice size hole behind the sink in the kitchen as well. The couch leg was broken, and we reported it on arrive and they said “okay”. They didn’t fix while we were there. The place was just overall needing updated especially for the money we paid! The rooms were constantly getting way too hot even with the air on. We however made the best of it and enjoyed our time. Check in was easy and so was check out. I will look for a different rental next time.

Put in Bay trip

Overall it was a nice stay and I had a great. However, the toilets were old and it flushed very slow. Also the hot water nozzle for the one shower wasn't working and we had to get it fixed when we got there. Internet was spotty and I had to use another house for proper Wi-Fi connection. Other than that I had a blast.

Perfect for our island visit

Perfect for our island visit, we would definitely stay here again. It is located on the south end of the island very near the Miller Carferry. It is in a little resort, which is very cute and in the country. Our golf cart which we rented from the same resort was waiting in front of our house when we got there. There were three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room with two couches, one chair. The kitchen had a table that seated six, a large refrigerator, a stove, microwave, and a regular coffee maker. There were pots and pans, coffee cups, drink glasses, and an assortment of plates and bowls. There was not a dishwasher. This house was perfect for what we needed it for it is a little rundown and there are probably things they could do to spit up a little but it served a purpose just fine

There were 5 people in our rental and it was very comfortable and spacious enough for everyone. We had a couple issues. We made a phone call and our issues were resolved immediately. I have been visiting PIB for years but this was the first time I stayed on the island. The rental made our time on PIB so enjoyable.

Perfect location. Private with woods in back off the deck.

With the traffic at Put n Bay, I imagine that all properties are in need of a little repair. The property management was immediate with any requests.
