We deeply appreciate you sharing your feedback about your recent stay with us. We're truly sorry to hear about the concerning incident involving your grandson. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we take this matter very seriously. We sincerely apologize for any distress this situation may have caused. Your suggestion to add locks on doors higher up to prevent such incidents is greatly appreciated, and we'll certainly consider implementing this for the safety of our guests, especially children. We're relieved that a kind stranger was able to help and that your grandson was safely returned to you. Your experience serves as an important reminder for us to continuously improve our accommodations to provide a secure and worry-free environment. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, and we're grateful that the situation didn't result in a worse outcome. We hope you'll consider staying with us again in the future, where we'll strive to make your experience a much more positive one.

Hi Cathy, We appreciate the feedback. We certainly wish you would have called the office during your stay so we could have brought additional kitchen items. We are always here to help with any needs and are only a call away.

Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so glad to hear you had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful lake views, the well-maintained pool, and the convenience of our overnight golf cart rentals. We appreciate your understanding regarding the seasonal mayflies. They are a natural part of life along Lake Erie for a short period each June, and fortunately they're only around for a brief time each year. Visiting in July or August is a great option if you'd prefer to avoid them. Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back to Put-in-Bay for another relaxing getaway in the future!
