A true standout in a community known for its architectural innovation, this custom Sea Ranch home brings contemporary beauty right to the bluffs' edge. You'll find peace and privacy here on the oceanfront, with gorgeous indoor/outdoor living spaces, little luxuries such as a sheltered hot tub in the courtyard, and spectacular views of the wild Sonoma Coast.

This single-story home sits at the northern tip of Sea Ranch, just a few hundred feet from Gualala Point Regional Park and one of the best spots for whale-watching and sunset-viewing in the community. It's only a matter of steps to the Bluff Trail, the incredible oceanfront path that traces over 10 miles of the Sea Ranch coast. The closest of the three recreation centers - Del Mar, with its heated pool, tennis courts, and saunas - is less than two miles down the road.

The house is full of architectural interest and thoughtful design, from the green and sustainable materials to the hedgerow-protected setting with passive solar benefits. A light-filled solarium runs through the center of the house, with the bedrooms to one side, the living spaces to the other, and patios at both ends. All throughout, accordion glass doors frame views of the ocean bluffs and create a true open-air environment.

Highlights of the interior include a gourmet kitchen with cast stone countertops, bamboo cabinetry, and top-of-the-line appliances (including a restaurant-grade Viking range). The living room's remote-controlled smart TV rises up from the console on the back wall. And the two bedrooms are calm and serene, each attached to a spa-like bathroom. The primary suite sits on the oceanfront, with a gas fireplace, desk workspace where you can log onto the high-speed WiFi, and direct access to the oceanfront patio and the hot tub in the courtyard. Radiant floor heat adds a layer of comfort during your stay.

Streaming services are available with guests' own account credentials.
This vacation rental is not well suited for children under 12 due to the works of art, proximity to the bluff, and the in-ground spa.
Check-in time: 4:00 PM.
Check-out time: 10:00 AM.
All guests shall abide by Vacasa's good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Unforeseen, ongoing roof repair in the corridor does not affect any of the living spaces. A guest might see some small leaks in the corridor during active rainstorms.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Disappointing
I was disappointed that the leaks in the corridor ceiling weren’t more clearly disclosed in the listing. We stayed in the house during a stormy weekend and it was a bummer to see brown water dripping into buckets and bowls (that we had to put out) while we were trying to enjoy a nice dinner. The living space is affected since you’re not able to close the doors from the corridor to the living room. Additionally vacasa had to tarp the roof during the storm to prevent more damage. The sound of the tarp blowing in the wind woke us up several times. While this is a beautiful house with lovely decor, I don’t believe it should be rented out in its current state. This appears to be a longstanding problem with the house. The customer service rep told me I should’ve read the listing fine print more clearly, however, had the photos more obviously shown the damage to ceiling I would not have rented this house.

Awesome Everything
The house is situated perfectly to enjoy the coastal beauty and deer right off the back porch. Everything worked including the spa, and was well appointed to accommodate any needs. Clean, sleek and cozy all at once!

A Dream Date Night
We were fortunate enough to stay here for our honeymoon, and it was as magical and private as we had hoped. The location couldn't be better - located minutes from the town of Gualala which has 2 grocery stores, and a few shops and restaurants. This made running into town much easier than other Sea Ranch homes located at the southern end of the Sea Ranch community. Walking in, the house itself feels as though you stepped into Architectural Digest - everything is thoughtfully chosen and elegantly decorated in a modern style. The large TV in the living room is concealed within a sideboard, but pops up when you are ready to watch. The kitchen is a dream – fully equipped for cooking and entertaining. Beds and linens are top of the line quality. Stepping out onto the back porch, you can see the Pacific Ocean and are steps away from the gorgeous coastal walking trails that go for miles down the coast. Don’t miss the hot tub experience, located in a courtyard and completely private. The hosts have thoughtfully compiled a book with all the information a guest needs – restaurants, stores, how to use the appliances and help with every part of your stay. You will love your visit here – we can’t wait to go back for our anniversary!

Beautiful home in a stunning location
Magazine-worthy architecture and interior, perfect location. Fall asleep and wake up to the soothing wave sounds. Step out the back porch right onto the coastal trail. Enjoy watching the sunset from the kitchen, living room, bedroom or backyard.
