You will be located in a friendly neighborhood and just a 5 minute walk down the street to Windansea beach in la Jolla. Our address,La Jolla Rushville st. 92037. It is great for swimming , surfing and fishing or just enjoying the sunset.
The 3 bedroom currently has very comfortable beds, fans and 2 HD tvs with Direct TV .
The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a BBQ and a choice of eating outside.
Our Street is very quiet. East is located the tennis court which is free and the next block the swimming pool on Fay Ave. Both belong to La Jolla High school. On Draper Ave, 5 blocks North is located La Jolla Library and Recreation Center. South- bike trail.
We do have fans, but no A/C because we live 3 blocks away from the beach and a white roof, so it stays cool.
The grocery store is located between Girard Ave and Pear St.
Shopping centers and restaurants - Prospect Street.
Because we are living in La Jolla you will have an opportunity to choose different beaches for different activities like tide pooling, easy waves , sun set, snorkeling, swimming and running ,all of those are in la Jolla.

We had a fantastic week in La Jolla. The home is cute with everything you need for your stay. The owner was extremely helpful and easy to reach at any time. Perfect for families and especially with kids. Walking distance to food, coffee shops, and the beach. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay again.

Great getaway

Immaculately clean and comfortable home with fun activities in the yard (ping pong, basketball hoop) and beautiful plantings. Well-equipped kitchen with drip coffee maker, large toaster, dishwasher, etc. Nice looking area with an easy (less than 1 mile) walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. In driveway parking. Great value. Would highly recommend this rental!!

Family stay

The owners are kind and easy to work with. The house is close to all that is happening in La Jolla. It is also a nice place to hang in between outings. Kids loved the putting green and ping pong.

Wonderful Stay

Fantastic stay in La Jolla!! Maritza was very gracious host! The house was spotless. We had fun walking to the beach and to many of the restaurants! Couldn't have asked for a better spot!! We will definitely return!

Great place/location

We would definitely be back. The house was very clean, the property manager was readily available and accommodating. Lovely backyard space, great little putting green and ping pong table. Lots of great nearby restaurants, wonderful beach, etc

Wish we could stay longer!

Lovely home with a beautiful yard. Surrounded by flowers! We had a little problem getting the key code and WiFi password, but had a wonderful stay! Ping pong and mini golf in the yard! Hope we get a chance to come back!

Quiet and Convenient

This was an awesome property for our family of four. It is in a central location to all of La Jolla. We walked to coffee and a beach nearly every morning, and to the Sunday farmers market. The house has many great beach toys and activities. Highly recommended.

Grandma and Grandpa take 3 Grandchildren

Had a wonderful experience. Everything was clean and comfortable. Kids loved the yard playing basketball, ping pong, and putting. Great communication with our host. Both TVs worked great! Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

My wife and I went to visit our 2 kids who are university students in San Diego

The house is clean and comfortable with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is about a 10 minute walk from the beach. There is a small putting green and ping pong table outside which made for good entertainment.

San Diego Vacation

The property was as advertised. The house was clean.3 bedrooms perfect for our family of 6. Maritza the host was gracious. The ping- pong table and basketball court were a big hit with my Grandkids. The beach was beautiful and just a short 10min walk. Stores and restaurant's were close by. We will be back. Great time.

Great place, friendly owner

We really enjoyed our days here, where we got together with another family. It is perfect for 4-7 people and has great accommodations for kids. The nearby, easily walkable beach is beautiful -- don't miss going there for sunset! Convenient base for visiting Legoland and Seaworld as well. The owner is friendly, laid back, flexible, and helpful. Overall, it felt more like house-sitting for a friend than renting a place. We even had a chance to let our kids meet and play together. We hope to return!

This was a perfect home away from home.

18 minutes walk to the beach (with 3 little kids). Awesome backyard with ping pong table, basketball and outdoor seating for dinner, including a kid table. The only thing I wish is that the owner would have advertised the surfboards and wetsuits they have available. We dragged our huge board, than we felt like we did not have to.

Location Stay

Overall comfort and location of the home was good. Please be careful of the deck in the back yard. Wood is old and we had several individuals fall through the deck when sitting on chairs, falling through and hurting themselves. Also, had nails that were protruding that cut the bottom of our 13-year-old foot.

Great experience

Awesome property, great neighborhood, host was communicative and very kind. We had a mess (kids) happen after check out on the way to the airport, and they were kind enough to let us come back and clean up after checkout before getting on the plane even though they had already started cleaning. Much appreciated. Details: -Backyard was great for kids: shade, ping pong, putting green, basketball hoop -Garage had some beach toys, chairs, towels -Street is quiet and one way -Kitchen was stocked with the essentials (coffee maker, pots and pans, etc) -Everything worked (TV, shower, bath, fans, appliances, etc) -Could have used a couple more towels (and more toilet paper) but there was a washer/dryer -Very religious decor (wasn't a problem, just mention because it's not obvious from the photos) -10 minute walk to the beach, not the easiest beach for kids, probably best to drive somewhere less rocky Overall such a great stay and a great host. Would recommend to families or anyone else!

La Jolla Getaway

It was a nice house with wonderful amenities like a putt putt, bball hoop, and ping pong. One issue was that I was unaware that it was a personal space with family photos and religious paraphernalia. This was not problematic but the fact that the first night when we wanted to use the barbecue there was no propane and we were asked to fill it. Another issue was that the remote for the television had dead batteries in it. Needless to say it would have been nice to go and enjoy instead of be asked to fill a propane tank. Future advice would be that they check the gas and the batteries so that their guests are not having to do anything other then enjoy their vacation. It is so close to the village and the beach that in the end none of these issues mattered because it was just so perfectly situated and peaceful.

Excellent Family Rental in La Jolla

We had a great rental experience! The property is well maintained and conveniently located. The property owners are very responsive. We would definitely stay here again while in La Jolla!
