FABULOUS CENTRAL LOCATION! This condo is newly remodeled and is walking distance to the Kailua pier, beaches, restaurants and we are right next to a grocery store. This unit is located one block from the best coffee shop in town. This older Hawaii complex has a wonderful well kept pool, bbq and coin operated laundry facilities on site.

**The condo directly above us is doing a renovation. They may be working anytime between 8am and 6pm Monday through Saturday. You may hear potential noise from the condo above during these hours. This will not affect most as they will be out and enjoying Hawaii during the day. If this will be a potential problem for you. Please do not book.**

A screened-in lanai with beautiful ocean views, new modern decor, and access to the community outdoor pool and bbq area. We are one block from Kona Coast Shopping Center and Lanihau Center and Kailua pier all within easy walking distance!

Sony Smart TV (sign in with your google account), ceiling fan, natural light, screened-in lanai with outdoor seating.

--BEDROOM--
Queen Bed, ceiling fan, window AC, iron and ironing board.

--KITCHEN--
Well-equipped, full size refrigerator, full size oven and gas stove, microwave, toaster, crock pot, pots and pans, dishware/flatware, coffee maker and table for 2. AC window unit.

--LANAI--
Screened in lanai with table for 2. Good ocean views.

--AMENITIES--
Free WiFi, complimentary toiletries, cleaning essentials, towels/linens, iron & ironing board, on-site coin operated laundry, pool with umbrella tables and chairs and bbq.

We provide complimentary starter essentials including paper towels, starter packs of coffee, toilet paper, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent, hand soap, and trash bags.

--THINGS TO KNOW--
We are a bottom floor condo. You will hear footsteps from above condo if someone is there and moving about.
Window ACs (two) in both kitchen living area and bedroom.
Building is an older 1960's Hawaiian complex that is well kept.
Quiet hours (9:00 PM - 8:00 AM)
We have a Ring video camera outside at the the front door and in no way does it infringe upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in this public area of the property. View is only of exterior only.
Designated parking spot for 1 vehicle.
We do not have cable for our TV. Please log into your own apps on our Sony Bravia 55" smart TV.
Mail: Our condo cannot accept mail or packages. Please consult with the local UPS store if you need packages sent to you during your stay.

- Even though we do have monthly pest control. This is a tropical destination and guests may encounter our local geckos and insects.
- The property features an exterior security camera by the front door facing out. The camera does not look into any interior spaces.

--Hawaii County Restrictions--
- Quiet hours shall be from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM, during which time the noise from the rental shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors
- Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area
- Guest vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area
- The STVR (short term vacation rental) shall not be used for commercial purposes

Great Stay in Kailua-Kona, December 2024

By way of context, we travel to the Big Island relatively frequently, so have a sense of where we like to stay; though we usually stay up the mountain, this spot was very close to many of our favorite haunts, and so we gave it a try. It turned out to be a great choice. The condo has recently been renovated, and was immaculate. It was also very thoughtfully appointed; it's not huge, but everything was perfectly organized and outfitted, and just as it needed to be. (The kitchen, in particular, is very well-done. Small kitchens are tough to pull off, but the appliances are excellent, the sink is huge (and cleverly set up so that part of the space doubles as prep area), and one never feels cramped. Some folks don't really use the kitchen at their rentals, but if you do, this one is absolutely solid. Note that the condo is also next door to the local KTA, so you can easily walk over and get groceries if you like.) We had a reserved parking spot (which was easy to access), and it's generally easy to get in/out (and onto the belt road). The ocean can be seen from the lanai, which is screened in. The property also has washing/drying facilities and a pool close at hand. Overall, we found everything to be ship-shape. The location is private, but Kym was obviously available by email if we needed anything. (We were even left Xmas stockings, which was a very thoughtful touch.) Great host, great condo, great location. Would rent again!

Simply wonderful!

We stayed here for the Ironman World championship in which my husband participated in. It was a perfect location, no worries about traffic, parking, noise, or driving to get to restaurants or the Ironman village. Everything within easy walking distance. Kym was a fantastic host. She even had a surprise bike pump ready in the condo, along with some snacks set out for us. Coffee, beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash were all supplied! The bed was very comfortable too. Pool on the property was nice. Perfect spot for the 2 of us!

Excellent condo in very convenient location

We had a lovely stay at Kym's place in Kailua Kona! This condo is located in an amazing location - less than 10 minute walk to multiple cafes, restaurants, breweries, and grocery stores. The condo itself is newly updated with every amenity you would need for your vacation - including a well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, living room with Smart TV, and comfortable patio seating on the lanai. Kym was a very responsive and thoughtful host - we were grateful for her accommodating an early check-in, and for leaving us some fun snacks to try. Her thoughtfulness is apparent in every room of the house - from multiple luggage racks in the bedroom, to having beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella and a beach bag available for guests to use! Thank you Kym!

Great place to stay

This property is absolutely perfect! It’s both close to the action and far enough away that you don’t get the noise from Alii’ drive. Fabulous place to stay. Loved every minute.

Great stay!

Condo was perfect. The host was excellent and the condo had everything we were looking for. Didn’t really need a car rental; everything you needed was within walking distance and if it wasn’t the shuttles were free. Had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Perfectly Located Home Away from Home

Kym was a phenomenal hostess! Her attention to detail within her condo makes this spot a perfect getaway for couples or a girls trip! Her condo is well located to grocery stores, coffee shops and restaurants within 5-15 minutes walking distance. The bed is comfy, the towels are full sized, the kitchen is well equipped and she’s got you set up with beach gear. We stayed for ten days and would highly recommend this condo to other vacationers. Kym goes above and beyond to make her guests stay extra special. I won’t spill the beans on all of the magic, but she really puts in the extra effort! Thank you again for an amazing vacation getaway Kym and for all you did to make our Christmas stay extra special.

This condo is an old Hawaiian complex that is right in the middle of town. Most people that live this complex are full time working Hawaii residents. We have the best coffee shop in town on the next block above us and a grocery store . You can walk to everything in town. Most parking for restaurants in Kona is now paid parking and at a steep price. You can just walk everywhere and not even worry about that part. We love the location.
