Smell the water! Fully renovated, three-bedroom, two-bathroom Nantucket style home. Walk to private beach on a dead-end street. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets from your large back deck with peeks of Nantucket Sound. Relax after the beach with an outdoor shower and barbecue.
This Non-Smoking home boasts a fully equipped kitchen and living room. Master bedroom (Queen) with its own bathroom and two other bedrooms with twin beds. Living room with whitewashed walls, and hardwood floors; all professionally decorated. Second bathroom with full-size washer and dryer.
Guests can bring their own linens or rent from linen service.
Enjoy your Cape vacation with the best of both worlds. Privacy at the beach and convenience to town (four miles) and everything Chatham has to offer.

Probably the best place we have stayed at the cape you could tell they recently updated it and did good job Location was nice to relax, great deck do eating out and the walk to beach was nice

Perfect Vacation House

The cottage was absolutely lovely, perfect size and everything we needed. Super quiet neighbourhood and Kids loved the beach and searching for new washed up treasures every morning.

Lovely Summer Cottage!

This is our second year staying at Maggie's - and it was even more lovely. The updated bathrooms and landscaping this year are modern, yet keeping with the beach house vibe. And the kids loved being close to the beach and going down every morning to look for horseshoe crabs and other sea treasures! Highly recommended.

Great place, perfect location

We stayed for a week with our family of four (kids ages 9 and 13). We had plenty of space to hang out, play games and just relax. The house has recently been updated and it looks better than the photos! A short walk to the beach and close proximity to town makes it a perfect place. This was our third time staying here and will definitely be back. Maggie, the owner, couldn’t have been nicer. You’ll love it here!

Beautiful home!!

We had a great stay at Maggie and Bill's beautiful home! Plenty of space for the 4 of us (including our 8 and 4 year old very active boys). Yard was perfect for small games of baseball, short walk to beach (although a lot of sea weed) and neighborhood was nice and quiet and perfect for bike rides. Short 10-15 minute drive to Harwich or Chatham towns for dinner and stores!

Great Cottage for Family Vacation

The cottage was even better than the pictures. The space was big enough for a family of 4 to spread out, yet small enough to give us time together. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. The bathrooms were recently renovated and nicely done. Having central air as an option was helpful on nights when it rained. The location was excellent. A short walk to a quiet beach and a short car ride to key Cape locations made it a perfect home base. I would absolutely book this cottage again.

Excellent

This is our second time staying at this property. It was very nice and comfortable . The owner was very accommodating. My only complaint would be the water pressure for both bathrooms showers, was very low. It could be a little stronger, Other than that no complaints, we had a wonderful time.

Just Right

If this cottage had a name, I would submit Goldilocks because everything was “just right.” The cottage was very clean and recently updated. Appliances were new and provided all the conveniences. Wi-Fi was good. It was just enough space for us and our 2 teenagers. The location was beautiful. The beach was a 3 min walk and easy to get to. The owners were very responsive and helpful. Chatham is beautiful and interesting to explore. We look forward to going back! Thank you for a great week.

Terrific property within walking distance of the beach

We stayed here so that my kids could go to Shark Camp at the AWSC in Chatham. It was important to me to be close to camp and also be within walking distance of the beach since I figured parking would be full by the time they got out of camp in the afternoon. This house was perfect! It's spacious, beautiful and has everything you need for your stay. We loved the outdoor shower so the kids didn't drag sand into the house. The neighborhood is very quiet and pretty, lots of flowers in people's yards. The public beach within walking distance is Pleasant St. Beach, which is very small and flanked on both sides by private property, but it worked for us. There was a lot of seaweed which I think is common on that side of the Cape, but the kids didn't mind. Forest Beach is bigger and has a bigger parking lot, but is not within easy walking distance. The property provided beach chairs and an umbrella. We rented linens from LinenDrops and that went well. There's a grocery store nearby that sells everything you need. The host was very helpful and responsive with questions. We had no issues finding or accessing the house. Wifi, AC, appliances all worked great. The washer and dryer were the small stackable kind, so be prepared to do smaller loads more often. Highly recommend this property!

Comfortable charming cottage stay with family

We stayed at this cute, charming cottage in August. It was very clean and comfortable. The photos in the listing do not do the place justice! The kitchen and some of the living room furniture had recently been updated. Overall, we had a very nice stay and would recommend to others. PROS: clean, renovated kitchen, quiet neighborhood, close proximity to private beach, sizable deck and outdoor dining area CONS: mattress in master not as comfortable as we expected it to be (losing firmness and may need to be replaced), private beach has a lot of seaweed

Perfect Vacation Property

The property is in an ideal location on a private road with access to a private beach. Floor plan is great. Love the decoration and art of the walls. Deck is large an ideally suited for outdoor gatherings and meals. One of my favs is the outdoor shower. (I never showered indoors). Owner was responsive and a delight to work with. We will stay again.

Fantastic

Fantastic and charming cottage. Perfect location just few minutes walk to a private beach on the sound. Pictures from the time of our booking are seemingly before remodeling and do not do this place justice. Communication with Maggie was seamless. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful Cottage by the Beach

We had an amazing stay in South Chatham. The cottage we recently renovated and you can tell! Everything was clean and we loved the new deck and outdoor shower. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood with a short walk to a beautiful beach at the end of the street. Checked all the boxes for a great family vacation. Hosts were super responsive and really nice to deal with through the whole process.

Great house, and great location to Beach

When we arrived for our one week stay, my husband and I were extremely impressed with all the updates to the house. We had a lovely stay, but too short. We wish we had booked for two weeks. Wonderful cottage

We had a wonderful stay in Chatham. The house was perfect for our family of four. The place was clean when we arrived and to our surprise there had been several upgrades to kitchen and living room. The place was even better than the pictures let on. Maggie was very accommodating to our family with young children. We would love to come back and stay sometime soon!

Cozy cottage in Chatham

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this cottage in Chatham. The house was a good size for our family of four. The neighborhood is really nice and very quiet. We have visited Chatham before but this was our first time staying here. We had a great time and there were lots of restaurants and shops to check out. We went to Mom & Pops Burgers several times, delicious chicken sandwiches! We loved the short walk down to the beach from the house. Our kids are 10 and 6 and enjoyed looking at all the horseshoe crab shells. The private beach was nice but had a lot of shells and seaweed so we didn't do much swimming there. We took a short drive to Hardings Beach a couple times and really enjoyed that. One small critique would be that the kitchen and bathrooms could be a little cleaner. Otherwise the house is very charming and well organized. Maggie was really great with communications and any questions we had. We were very happy with our vacation here and would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Quaint cottage near the beach

When we arrived at the cottage, it was open for us and check in was a breeze! The small living space and three bedrooms was enough for our family of 6. There were two full bathrooms and an outdoor shower which made it easy for everyone to have access to what was needed... And we never ran out of hot water! The deck was lovely and had enough seating at the table for all of us. The grill was a bit old and the grates were rusty, but we used foil and were able to cook fresh seafood meals! The sliding glass door needed a bit of WD-40 which we found in the shed. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed!! We were so excited to discover that the walk to the beach was only 3 min and the beach was private and quite pretty!!! The neighborhood was lovely and safe! This was our first visit to the Cape and we were not disappointed!!! We are already thinking about the next time we can visit! Thank you Maggie for sharing your sweet cottage with us! There were so many treasures to admire!

Lovely vacay at Sea Mist!

My husband and two teens thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. So nice and quiet and plenty of room for us all. Very close to all that Chatham has to offer. The beach at the end of the street was nice to walk down to in the evenings. Bring water shoes if you want to swim because it is a little rocky. Overall I would highly recommend a stay at this very comfortable cottage! Wish our stay could have been longer!

Cozy beach cottage for Cape getaway

Our family of four (including kids 8 and 10) stayed here for a Cape getaway. It is a very cute and cozy beach cottage, perfect for our use. It was really nice having the 2 bedrooms for the kids so that each could sleep in their own room, and the room air conditioners worked great. We liked being able to walk to the beach and also appreciated the beach chairs. The puzzles and games were great too! My one small critique is that the cleaning could be taken up just a notch (hair and dirt on the shower walls) and the listing indicated that linens were included but these are now required to be provided. We were able to order without hassle from the local company suggested by the owner, but please just keep in mind it will incur a bit of additional cost - $160 - if you're not able to bring your own (we weren't as we were flying). That said we certainly would not hesitate to recommend this cottage and really enjoyed our stay. The owner was fantastic with communication and it is perfectly located as a home base for exploring other towns on the Cape.
