Summer Vacay

Everything was perfect! Condo was beautiful! Beds were very comfortable! Condo complex was great, such a short walk to the beach from the unit. All the extras were so appreciated from the beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach to large new TVs in the unit. Bathrooms were immaculate! Will definitely be back!

The condo was attractive, clean, and comfortable; the Sanibel Moorings staff were *extremely* attentive and helpful; and the location was perfect for our family. I can recommend this place without any hesitation!The Sanibel Moorings grounds are beautiful; the beach is just a step across the property; and wildlife refuge was just a short drive. When the summer afternoon got too hot, the condo was a welcoming place to relax. A perfect trip for us!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was our first time back since the storm so we were a little taken back by everything but amazed on how they are working hard everyday to get it back to what it was. My only complaint (which no one has control over and we warned before coming) are the sand flees/noseeums. They are ruthless from the minute the sun begins to set till the sun fully rises which makes it difficult unless you’re fully clothed to watch the sunsets and sunrises. Again no ones fault.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sanibel Moorings was a fantastic experience. The condo was clean and redone. The grounds were magnificent and the beach was beautiful. Location from restaurants and shops were convenient as well. The only complaint I had was that beach chairs and umbrellas were gone early in the morning. If you didn't get to the beach by 8, all the chairs and umbrellas were gone. I wish the units would provide their own beach chairs and umbrellas to use. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was very clean upon arrival. We needed extra towels they provided it right away. Cons: biggest issue was pathway to the beach needs to be built up. Ankle high water sat for days and was pretty gross to go through. Beach chairs provided were very nice. Overall great time. This was our first time back to the island since Ian.

Sanibel Moorings is our Florida Paradise!

Reviewer Comments: Happy to return to Sanibel Moorings Resort on May 25-June 1 2024, almost 2 years since our last visit and when Ian destroyed so much on the island. We were very pleased that Bill helped us to book our reservation and provided all information prior to our return. The Moorings staff have done a fantastic job with getting the resort back up and running again. We stayed at the same unit we have used many times over 44 years. It is exactly like the photo. It is very clean & welcoming. The kitchen has been updated and is beautiful. It includes a sit down island accommodating 6 people easily. They also have 3 ready to use gas grills making preparing dinners easy. The pool was perfect and refreshing for the adults and grandchildren. Though there was only 1 access to the beach, verses 3 prior to Ian, the walk to the beach was not a problem. Walking to the beautiful beach and Gulf water is always refreshing. Shelling was also fantastic. There are repairs and work still underway, since Ian, but this resort is the best around and we would recommend it to everyone. It is beautiful, friendly and very accommodating. Thank you Kari and Bill and all of the Moorings staff for you work and love of this resort to getting it ready for us to return.We also visited the Mucky Duck restaurant, our favorite for sunsets and meals, the Salmon en Croûte was unbelievably delicious.Consider getting a LilyPad from Finnimore's Bike & Beach Rentals. We had a blast using it on the ocean.

Enjoyed our stay at Sanibel Moorings. Grounds were well kept and the beach was so close. The construction and renovations going on around us were almost unnoticeable. Can’t wait to come back.

The hospitality and cleanliness is amazing along with the staff and amenities. You will be very well taken care of staying on the premises.
