The Whaler is a premier oceanfront resort situated in the heart of world famous Kaanapali Beach, adjacent to Whaler's Village, for convenient upscale shopping and dining.

Suite #301 is an outstanding direct oceanfront condominium at The Whaler. Our beautifully furnished and well-maintained condominium includes a fully equipped kitchen, Cal-King bed, premium bedding and linens, two bathrooms with showers and an in-unit washer/dryer. The corner location and spacious wrap-a-round lanai, offer sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, the islands of Lanai and Molokai, the famous lava flow outcrop of Black Rock and spectacular Maui sunsets. From our desirable inner courtyard location, enjoy wonderful views of the lush tropical landscaping, koi pond and the West Maui mountains. Oceanfront #301 is ideally situated on the third floor for easy access via the stairs to the beach, boardwalk, pool, barbeques and lower level fitness center.

The Whaler is a non-smoking property.

Complimentary Mid Week housekeeping is included for stays over 9 nights. A Check-Out Cleaning Fee of $300 is added to each reservation. A daily resort amenity fee is payable on checkout. Additional fee for authorized late check out. Rates/fees are subject to Hawaii taxes.

The Whaler 301 - THE BEST!

I came to Maui the first time in 1975 and haven’t missed many years. THIS IS THE BEST PLACE WE’VE EVER STAYED!! It’s like a small Hawaiian art museum. And this is REAL art! The kitchen: everything a good chef needs. And if coffee is your thing there is an amazing coffee maker. The bathrooms are awesome. The bed is so comfortable. Even the pillows (must be goose down) are so so nice. The cleaning service is the best. WOW!! And Linda (owner) is so nice and attentive and responsive. I need to reserve another two weeks ASAP!!

Quality, luxury, and relaxation with spectacular views!

We have stayed at many VRBO properties over the past years and have never experienced the quality and luxury of accommodations that this unit provides. It just may be a one of a kind! All descriptions and pictures are spot on, however, it is difficult to describe the quality of the unit. Views, comfort, convenience, and everything defined is as accurate as experienced. Best condo at The Whaler

This condo is the best we have stayed in at The Whaler. 3rd floor walkup is so convenient to the beach. Furnishings are superb and owner has thought of everything to make your stay a convenience. Love this unit!!!

Best Oceanfront unit at the Whaler

Great Place!! Great host. Very accommodating and the place had everything that you could need. We have stayed at many different units at the Whaler and this one was by far the best.

Beautiful Place and Location

This was our second time renting this location. We love the place and enjoy the ease of the access to the beach, Whalers Village and the restaurants. Will definitely come back!

Awesome luxury condo and awesome location on the beach!

What a great condo and location - top of the line everything! Direct view on Kaanapali Beach and just three floors up and quick access to the beach and Whaler pool. Walk to Whaler's Village shopping and restaurants, or go the other way and find more beaches and great lunch and dinner spots. You can't miss renting this unit for your next Maui vacation!

Better than expected!

Our stay at the Whaler #301 was beyond expectations. The unit is direct oceanfront with a wrap around lanai - great for watching people stroll the beach path, splash in the pool below us, and of course the world famous Maui sunsets were spectacular! Inside the unit is very upscale - beautiful art work, high-end furnishings, and luxury carpet . The kitchen was also high-end as were both bathrooms. We will be back!

Fabulous as usual

We arrived on the 13th of March, and everything was so great. Ocean front is the best way to go at the Whaler Kaanapali. Things started to close down because of the coronavirus but we relaxed in the condo during the week. Highly recommend this unit.

Never leave the beach

Being able to walk out on Kaanapali beach so easily and at times simply look out over the ocean is a pure pleasure and this apartment is ideal for that. The owner was a great help and everything was as advertised. We had a wonderful vacation there.

Firstly, if you are looking for quality of view, location, furnishings, and all that you need, plus, with good weather, to sweeten the pot...….look no further !...….this Unit#301...….provides it all.....and more...and secondly...…..we will be back !

Excellent Property at The Whaler

301 is absolutely perfect!!! This is our 3rd time staying at the Whaler and 301 was absolutely perfect. The views are incredible from this property and the inside is immaculate. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay at the Whaler. Can't wait to rent this one again.

Excellent Oceanfront Condo

This is a first class accommodation the minute you step in the door. The view from the inside and the wrap around balcony is spectacular. The pictures on the VRBO website accurately depict the condo. Exceptional Location & Furnishings!

In our view 301 is as close to heaven as we can find in our price range. It is located near the beach with beautiful ocean front views at Kaanapali Beach. We can sit on the balcony and watch the whales all day. Having a corner unit is nice as we can sit in the sun or shade at any time of the day on the balcony. The unit is beautifully furnished and well maintained. It feels very much like a home. We highly recommend 301 to anyone. The Whaler is also a beautiful complex that is well maintained with a nice fitness room and on-site tennis courts.

A Very Special Home

We have been coming to the Whalers off and on for the past 25 years and simply never found a unit comparable to this. It has been beautifully updated, fabulously well equipped kitchen, beautiful art, comfortable bed, top quality linens, etc. etc. The owner has foreseen and provided for every possible need. We feel privileged to have been here! Of course, Kaanapali speaks for itself as far as location is concerned, the best on the island!

A Luxurious Paradise...Home Away From Home

The home is just stunning... The views of Kaanapali were incredible. The location is the best! The gorgeous original art was a delightful surprise. I felt so honored that the owner welcomed us into her beautiful home. You could tell that this was not a rental unit but a cherished home...the finishings were all high end. The owner was very friendly and easy to work with. The cleaning staff was also very accommodating and helpful. The place was impeccably cleaned. There were beach chairs which we did not end up using since we loved being in this wonderful home...spent many hours on the lanai... I particularly enjoyed watching the sunsets. The bed was so comfortable that we still want to ask the owner what the brand is to buy a new one for our own home. We hope to return often...
