This is a beautiful, gracious home in New Paltz with stunning views of the Shawangunk Mountains from almost every room. Designed by an architect, there are 5 beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, office, living room/dining room, laundry and even a fitness room. Very limited availability, with weekend rentals only November through January.

Perfect stay in stunning location!

My family and I had an incredible stay here! The property is gorgeous (you can't beat waking up to the views of Mohonk!) and the house itself is cozy and charming with everything we'd need for the weekend (including a gym and jacuzzi - definitely a favorite for my family.) The host was very responsive and easy to work with. I've already recommended this place to many of my friends - if you're in the area I highly recommend it!!

Gorgeous, spacious, and cozy

Beautiful property with lots of nature to explore. I loved how the house felt both super spacious (large living/eating areas and lots of beds) and also totally cozy (nice woodsy touches and working fireplaces). Check in process was smooth and host was super nice and helpful/communicative.

A gracious and cozy architectural gem!

This home is stately, gracious and impeccable yet cozy at the same time. The panoramic views are breathtaking and with the guest house, the ample layout easily accommodated my entire family. With scores of great local fare, antiquing and wellness destinations in the area, we couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful home away from home. Thanks for your home & hospitality!

A perfect getaway

I have a large family, and it is only rarely that we are in the same place at the same time. So it was an incredible opportunity for us to be able to spend the day together at this beautiful property. There were 10 of us and we never felt crowded. Beds Were super comfortable. The dining room table is perfect for a large group and we loved sitting by the fireplace and watching TV together. The master bedroom is super luxurious, and this home would be a lovely retreat for a couple looking for a weekend retreat. Everything is provided for your comfort and we look forward to coming back again when we are in the area. We highly recommend this rental property.

Amazing property

I stayed at this home with some family and friends and had an amazing experience. The property is massive. It was a perfect getaway from NYC and felt like the perfect spot to recharge in nature. There is a ton of space and rooms so my family and several friends were able to stay comfortably and have their privacy throughout. There's an amazing pool and jacuzzi that overlook the mountains and would be amazing to see in fall (when we'll definitely be returning)! The main house was super cozy with a fireplace and and large indoor main space that has a rustic feel. The kitchen is amazing so we cooked some large meals there. The location is also great. There are some cool bars/breweries and shops nearby and also some amazing hikes. It's right by Mohonk which also has some super nice hikes. Overall amazing experience, would highly recommend!

Fascinating, heavenly and comfortable

This was my favorite VRBO experience ever. The house is so interesting, with beautiful furniture, a WONDERFUL kitchen, glorious fireplace-warmed living room, and scenery that can not be beat. My partner and I enjoyed the quiet serenity, we slept like babies (the master bedroom is exceptional - with its own fireplace and jacuzzi tub), and then we enjoyed making fabulous meals in the well-designed kitchen that had all the amenities. The hot tub was wonderful - I can only imagine what the pool on the back porch with the incredible views are like, too! Communications with the owner were fantastic. We didn't need to do much because things were just perfect. We found the place, got settled in really easily. The nearby town has lovely restaurants and shopping - for extra fun get a tarot reading at the little shop in town. So fun! I would recommend this place without reservation.
