We loved the property! So many things to do and the Sassy Bass Restaurant was excellent!!

Near the Beach!

We loved the location of the condo, able to walk down to the beach! Loved crabbing every night and great that condo provided net, buckets, beach chairs & umbrella!!

Wonderful time!

Loved the condo! Able to see the ocean from the balcony, beautiful weather, pools were great! Wish the arcade was still available but over all had a great time and look forward to staying here again!

Beach access was great. Quiet. Beds very cozy. Nice having a kitchen with all the amenities. Parking was easy although sometimes frustrating waiting in the single line through security gate. Sassy Bass had great food/drinks.

Awesome Host and Property

We had a great stay on this property. The description matched exactly what we experienced when we got there. Great location and great amenities! We had an issue with one of our showers, but Jackie was awesome on working to get it fixed. Great communication and follow thru. I would definitely stay at one of the properties she manages again in the future. Looking forward to another visit soon!

Absolutely loved this place!!! Not only was in clean and quiet it was right at the beach! Clean pool area! Sassy bass was so good and quick on the food! Jackie was amazing to work with and emails back super fast!! Will be back!

Recommend

Rented from owner before this time and will do so again. Only thing is master bedroom bed linens had 2 stains and the ac had problems but was fixed with in hours of reporting it. Great stay great place to stay would recommend renting from Jackie battles.

Family Vacation w/ Older Teens

I was pleasantly surprised as the view from the balcony was better than pictured. I would even say the rental was cuter and more cozy than pictured. When they say starter supplies they really mean it. You will definitely need to bring toilet paper and maybe paper towels and trash bags if you’re staying more than a couple of days.

We are so glad you had a great stay and loved our home away from home! There is one roll of toilet tissue per bath and one roll of paper towels. The trash cans have a liner in them and one extra bag in the can. Thanks for staying with us and please come back soon when the beach is calling :)!

Great stay

The condo was clean, safe, and plenty of space for the 4 of us! The kitchen supplies were great! The towel supply was not but we had to wash several times during our stay and would have preferred washer/dryer in condo but that was not a deal breaker. Overall, great stay and the landlord was easy to contact through the email/app! Quick response time which I appreciated!

Perfect weather!

Property very clean and manicured.Disappointed that I had to pay for parking. Makes no sense.Sheets in room were pilly, felt like sand.Pillows in both bedrooms were flat and comforters were too big for the bed.

Cozy and enjoyable stay

This was our first trip to Alabama. We wanted a property that was a bit more secluded but still had plenty of amenities. While the unit was pretty small, it met our needs for our busy, active family. The host left plenty of instructions and made check-in easy. My only complaint would be that you were instructed to not use the bedspreads, or risk a cleaning fee for soiling. I have never been asked to do this anywhere I’ve stayed. Thankfully, we came prepared with our own blankets. Outside of that oddity, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again! Thank you for a memorable vacation!

We are pleased you had a great stay and enjoyed your time at the beach! Sometimes the bedspreads are stained with children playing with paints, etc. That is why we leave that note. There are blankets in the condo also Please come back again soon!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found the agent, JB, to be difficult to work with. She has poor communication and customer service skills. She showed a low regard for her customers/guests safety, security and privacy. Her customers were not treated fairly or equitably.

Not ADA Compliant

The property is fine for people who are not disabled but I was under the impression that this condo was ADA-compliant for my disabled husband who can walk a few steps with help but is otherwise in a wheelchair. He could not navigate the bathroom very well and we fell when trying to get out of the shower. He could not move around very well in the unit, getting onto the balcony was impossible from the bedroom and a challenge from the living room. Otherwise, the unit was clean and the location was perfect.

We appreicate you staying with us! The VRBO website does not indicate the unit is wheel chair or ADA accessible so I am sorry you did not notice that. We are always available by phone if a potential renter needs to confirm thiings of this nature before bookings.

The condo did have a great view.

Upon arriving at 4:30 pm the condo wasn't ready until 6pm. when I asked about a discount on it being two hours late they said that the agreement said it could be but a delay of hours but I read and reread my agreement and it didn't state that at all. Also, upon entering the condo the shower stall was molded and instead of calling to let them know I went to wal-mart and got some tilex to clean it myself since they had just finished cleaning it and didn't do a good job. The bath rug was under the vanity and looked like it had been used for a month without being changed out. The condo itself was a good size and the view was great. Beds were comfy too. I was informed that when they charged me both times for the rent that they had made a mistake of 9. 18 and it will be deducted from the deposit refund. I think that it was their fault of the mistake and poor customer service to take it from the deposit. I normally don't write a review but this time I feel like this has been very poor customer service with a bad attitude from them. I will not book from them again nor do I plan to stay at The Plantation again.

It is rare we have anyone who is not pleased with our customer services since our goal is for everyone to have a great vacation and enjoy their time at the beach in a clean well kept property with lots of amenities to enjoy. I regret we did not meet your expectations. Thank you for staying with us!

Nice Stay just down the road from Gulf Shores

The property was nice enough, but the beach was quite a bit more crowded than we were expecting.

We are pleased you enjoyed your stay. The Fort Morgan area of Gulf Shores is about 15 miles from what is considered downtown Gulf Shores. This area is less crowed than downtown Gulf Shores but still busy during mid July. Thanks for staying with us and please come back again soon!
