Overflowing with vintage Texas charm, The Victoria House is a three-bedroom home in the heart of historic Galveston. Located across from Adoue Park, you can sit on the front porch with a glass of sweet tea and watch the world go by. You’ll be within walking distance of a delicious local bakery and UTMB, while also being a quick drive away from the sandy beach. There’s also a fenced-in backyard and a barbeque grill for those nights you want to stay in for dinner.

Location: Downtown Historic District of Galveston, Texas– 1 mile to the Galveston Strand and 0.3 miles from UTMB.

Beach access: This home is a half-mile from Stewart Beach, Porretto Beach, and the hustle and bustle of the Seawall. We recommend driving over walking to the beach.

Community Amenities: The Victoria House overlooks Adoue Park. The park has a large, open grass area and playground— perfect for your pets and kids! We also recommend walking the three blocks to Mosquito Cafe and Patty Cakes Bakery for a coffee break, breakfast, lunch, or dinner— so delicious!

Rent BeachBox: Looking for beach gear for your Galveston getaway? We have you covered! Beach chairs and tents can be ready at the house upon your arrival. Message us for details and rates.

WIFI: Free high-speed WIFI is available throughout the home.

Cable: We provide Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own Amazon Prime, Netflix, or other streaming service apps as well.

Pet policy: Up to 2 pets are welcome in our home with a $25 fee per pet. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren't left alone inside the home unless in a crate or kennel. Please message us if you’re planning on bringing your furry friend!

Parking: The street parking in front of the home is free on Saturdays and Sundays. Guests staying during the week will receive two free parking passes.

Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book.

The grand front entrance is surrounded by sidelights and transoms. A generous front hallway has gleaming hardwood floors. In the living room, sleek and modern furnishings blend seamlessly with the renovated interior— while still maintaining the historic charm. Large, light-filled windows, tray ceilings, and wide baseboards have all been lovingly restored to their original glory.

In the spacious kitchen, elegant cherry wood cabinets are topped with gleaming marble countertops. The chef in your group will love the gas range, and your whole crew will gather comfortably here in the mornings while the coffee brews. Just off the kitchen is a convenient laundry room, and the formal dining room is just around the corner.

Up the staircase, the master bedroom has a king-size bed set against an upholstered headboard. This light and airy room is beautifully trimmed in dark, gleaming wood and accentuated with a soaring tray ceiling. The master bathroom includes a step-in shower, separate tub, and a sliding window to access the second level balcony.

The second bedroom is a camp-like bunk room, with two twin-over-full-size bunks. Kids of all ages will love the cozy decor, flatscreen television, and comfy bunks. In the third bedroom, a queen-size bed sits in a brushed gold four-poster frame. This bedroom also has a full-size day bed with a twin trundle, and a built-in storage cupboard.

This home also has an additional full bathroom and a powder room. The full bathroom has a unique step-in shower with a glass door, a double vanity with vintage mirrors, and is accessible from both the bunk room and the queen bedroom on the second floor. The powder room is located on the main floor.

For a memorable trip to the heart of downtown Galveston, the location of The Victoria House is hard to beat. Although you’ll be steps away from the energy and excitement of the city, you’ll also experience the privacy and peace of a grand home near the park. When you want to explore the city, do some shopping, or grab a quick lunch, it’s all just a few short blocks away from your front door. And when you want to hit the beach, the sandy shore is only a short drive away. The Victoria House is a luxurious home at the very center of charming downtown Galveston— perfect for families and group getaways to the historic city.

- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 8+ would need to be approved. We love hosting church groups, family reunions, etc., but do not allow parties.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- We provide two parking passes which are located in the mail holder just inside the front door. Please make sure to return them when you checkout to avoid an additional charge of $250 per pass. For any additional cars, there is free two hour parking during the week and free parking on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.

Perfect location for us
We really enjoyed our stay prior to our cruise. The house is really nice and the location was perfect. We enjoyed the Pier, Mario's, Sunflower Cafe, etc. All of which were very close. Great place to stay and will book again with on the island.

Beautiful house perfect for family!
My family of 7 loved this house! It is so pretty and plenty of room for us all to relax and get a good night’s sleep. Our kids (teens) enjoyed the park across the street; adults relaxed with a glass of wine on the front porch keeping an eye on them. We had fun playing cards together in the evening. The big dining room table was great for that.
