Luxurious Mediterranean Villa with Infinity Swimmingpool and Maximum Privacy

It’s a pity that Mr. Stamateus choose the review in trying to blackmail us once again in demanding a reduction of the price he paid for having a great vacation in our beautiful villa. As owners we always try to do our utmost to make our guest feel at home in a comfortable and luxurious environment. In our answer to the letter of Mr. Stamateus a few weeks ago, where he demanded a for a partly payback of the rental amount and blackmailing us with a threat to give us a negative review, we answered this on his remarks: Dear Mr. Stamateas, In answer to your writing, we unfortunately expected this kind of letter from you as we were warned before by our housekeeping staff and our housemaster. To inform you we as honest people, we’ve never will give in to blackmail. So let us share our experience, which we’ve never got before with other guests renting our Villa and giving answers to your remarks. Our staff told us, that by your arrival they heard only complaints and not one positive word about the villa even not about the magnificent sea view. In their opinion the guest searched and tried to find only negative things. Our staff told us directly: “Doesn’t matter, what we are going to do, these guests will stay unsatisfied to demand a reduction on the end of their stay”. Never mind that our housemaster called you almost every day to ask if you need something and if everything is OK. Cleanness of the villa Our staff cleaned next day the few things which you pointed out and repaired or replaced the things which you mentioned (See the pictures). All our clients see the products and herbs, left by previous guests in the kitchen as advantage. Our staff controls the condition of these products, to avoid products that could spoil. And for sure you didn’t spend three days arranging improvement, we did it ourselves. Usability of the Garden We never promised our clients a green lawn as garden. The garden was freshly mowed and in clean condition as it is shown on the pictures on the website. 4000 m2 with olive and other trees are meant for walking, relaxation and enjoying the view and not for playing football. One rusty shelf in the one bathroom The shelves in the bathrooms are changed every second year, so it will be next year. As Greek you know as nobody else the quality of Greek water and the influence of the salty seawater and air. It's a pity that you didn’t notice the excellent maintenance of house. Freshly painted, new trampoline and a great infinity swimming pool. Pricing As you wrote the daily price of house is 475 euro, but it is not for two persons, but for ten. It has five rooms, so the price for room is 91 euro, what is not so bad for all rooms with sea view, luxurious interior, own garden, terrace, and infinity swimming pool and absolutely no neighbors. Living in Nature Living in nature brings a lot of advantages and some minor disadvantages like thirsty honeybees drinking the super clean water from our swimming pool. They are not as you wrote wasp’s; we don’t have them around our villa. The honeybees will not hurt anyone as you don’t try to hurt them, they will drink and leave. Hole in the Ceiling Like you indicated we do have a maintenance hole in the ceiling above the stairs. It looks like that you were really searching to find something and to mention this as a negative experience. As you wrote is sounds like a very big hole in the rooms but that’s not true. In fact, it’s a small square hole in the ceiling of the upper stairs necessary for maintenance of electricity and the hot water system. There is no reasons that this could spoil in anyway the feeling of spoiling your vacation After you left the Villa Upon your leaving you left kitchen full of dirty dishes. The ants came directly, so the personnel had have not only to clean the kitchen, but also make the disinfection of the whole house. We had therefore extra costs for cleaning that we had planned. And that is while in the short-term rental agreement is indicated, that: Quote “We would like to think the holidaymaker and party would treat the property as they would their own home and at the end of the holiday the property is left in a clean and tidy condition. The property owner retains the right to make an additional charge for cleaning should the property not be left in a similar condition to the way it was found at the start of the holiday. There is no daily cleaning service available.” Quote end. Concluding It for us the first time to have this blackmailing comments from a guest. We would never recommend to any one to rent their private property to Mr Stamateus and party. Fortunately we had and have a lot of guests who really valued our villa in the right way. Cher Julien Olivier, Merci pour la belle critique et la très bonne note de notre Villa Livadia. Je comprends votre commentaire sur les abeilles, mais cela n’a rien à voir avec des ruches près de la villa. Ils ne sont pas là. En été, toutes les piscines en Grèce sont visitées par des abeilles. Ils parcourent même 7 kilomètres à la recherche d'eau. Habituellement concentré autour d'un coin de la piscine. Les abeilles ne viennent que pour boire de l'eau. Si vous ne les touchez pas, ils ne vous dérangeront pas non plus. Les abeilles ne sont heureusement pas des guêpes et donc pas agressives. Ils appartiennent à la nature dans laquelle se trouve notre villa. Sachez qu'aucune abeille ne signifie aucune olive ni aucun fruit qui fait la renommée de la Grèce. Thank you for your review. Its a pity that the water supply from government was disrupted for 2 days for cleaning purposes on their behave. We have a 15 000 liter spare water tank for this purposes, but was empty by over usage. So we ordered a truck with 15.000 liters of fresh water to solve the problem. Indeed the light of the pool don't work for the moment. The specialist was not available for holiday en will repair this the second week of September. But never the less its is a great swimming pool and a joy to use it. The Jacuzzi works normal as tested by our housemaster. We will make an instruction leaflet for the future guests. The home trainers didn't work for reason that previous guest had taken away the power supply unit. We added a new power supply and everything works fine now. Any way it was good to hear that you really enjoyed your stay and holiday in our Villa Livadia.

Thank You Thierry. We took care of the Garden. its being taken care of before new guest are arriving. The dead Palms where affected by the Palm bug, that was responsible for killing 80% of all palms the Peleponessos. They are removed and replanted with another kind of Palm Trees. We will take in to consideration to ad a shadow place on the backside terrace in future.
