The Space:

Casa Chillville is a three-bedroom, three-bathroom villa with direct water access in the Water Villas Bonaire resort.



The villa features two bedrooms with king-size beds and one bedroom with a queen-size bed. The open-plan kitchen flows into the bright living room and includes a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, and kettle. Outside you have a private garden, a covered veranda, a terrace, and a generous pool deck.

Good to know:

- No dryer: on Bonaire that is barely an issue, as the sun and constant trade winds dry laundry outside within a few hours.

- Animal visitors: a curious lizard or colorful bird may wander into the garden from time to time, a typical Bonairean experience.

- No TV: Casa Chillville has no television, but fast Wi-Fi means streaming on your own device works just fine.



Guest Access:

As a guest of Casa Chillville, you have full use of the entire villa: all three bedrooms, all three bathrooms, the open-plan kitchen, the living room, and all outdoor spaces, including the private garden, the covered veranda, the terrace, the pool deck, and the private pool. Direct access to the Laguna Marina is also at your disposal. Parking is free on the property. To give you a warm welcome and share everything you need to know about the villa and the island, all arrivals are organized personally. The Sunwise hosts of Casa Chillville will coordinate your arrival time with you in advance.



The Neighborhood:

Casa Chillville is located in the Laguna Marina, a man-made lagoon situated between Kralendijk and the airport, connected to the Caribbean Sea via channels. The lagoon water is sheltered and calm, making it an ideal base for kayaking, paddleboarding, and relaxed water-based living, while the direct connection to open water also gives you easy access to the famous dive sites along Bonaire's west coast. Around the lagoon you will find villas, small-scale resorts, and hotels such as Ocean Breeze, Plaza Beach Resort, and Water Villas Bonaire, many with their own mooring. It is a peaceful, water-rich neighborhood that is still just a few minutes' drive from the buzz of Kralendijk.



Casa Chillville is approximately 2.4 kilometers from Van den Tweel supermarket, 750 meters from Dive Friends Port Bonaire dive center, 2.1 kilometers from Chachacha Beach, 2.4 kilometers from the center of Kralendijk and 2 kilometers from Sebastian’s Restaurant.



Sunwise insider tip: One excursion you really don't want to miss is Klein Bonaire. This uninhabited little island sits just a fifteen-minute boat ride from the shore and has been part of the Bonaire National Marine Park since 2001, making it an officially protected nature reserve. Surrounding Klein Bonaire you will find dozens of dive and snorkel sites with crystal-clear water and an incredible abundance of colorful coral reefs and tropical fish. On the island itself there is a narrow sandy beach where you can kick back and relax. Renting a small boat through the marina is easy to arrange and absolutely worth it. Casa Chillville's direct water access makes heading out even easier.



Getting Around:

Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Casa Chillville. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.



Other Things to Note:

Check-in to Casa Chillville is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations.
