Really enjoyed the stay at the property. Unfortunately, the weather was cold, which meant the pool was not welcoming, but didn’t keep me from trying a swim. Charlotte was very responsive and helpful was a host. Lighting in the garage was a challenge. Hot water was also an issue and showers. Took forever to warm up and never really got much more than lukewarm. Highly recommended would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was pretty good. The house is a nice proximity to the beaches. The pool in the back was definitely a hit for our 8 year-old! The neighborhood seemed quiet, though I couldn’t decide if it was just an older neighborhood, or bordering something I wouldn’t want to be walking the streets through at night. A couple small issues I had were: 1) the listing wasn’t exactly what we got. It was advertised there would be accommodations for 6 people to include 2 queen beds and 2 twin size futons. The larger of the futons pictured was no longer there, and the 1 futon available was big enough to accommodate maybe a 7 year old. Had we been traveling with our whole family of 6 (as opposed to 5 of us), I wouldn’t have been happy. To be fair, we found a double-sized blow up mattress in the closet, which our teenager slept on. 2) I felt like the amenities provided were pretty minimal in comparison to what we’ve experienced at other properties. We were left with 1-1/4 rolls of toilet paper in 1 bathroom (1-1/2 in the other). Also, a lot of the patio equipment was pretty janky, missing cushions, broken and/or falling apart. Overall, we made it work. We were happy to have a garage for our rental, and…the pool! (the selling point for us)

My family and I enjoyed our stay and the home was nice and clean. The location is very convenient to nearby museums, movie theaters, and lots of great places to eat. The home is equipt with everything that you need and roomy enough for your pet. If I could change one thing, it would be having the pool heated. We could not use it because it was too cold - I would of considered paying an additional fee. Thank you to the host!

We enjoyed the property, it was clean, comfortable and had all the essential. The house is very pretty and the location was excellent. The check-in process was smooth. We will definitely stay here again. Kudos to the host!!!

Probably won’t repeat our stay

Communication was very fast at all times. When we arrived, we found out the house had been double booked by another online company and VRBO. The other party was very gracious and left so that we could have the house. The host offered to extend our stay one night for free, but we already had flights arranged so we did not take her up in the offer. It seemed as if every renter had the same door code (the host informed us how to change it, and we changed it back before we left). As mentioned by another reviewer, the floors were quite dirty. The grass was tall when we arrived but was mowed the next day. Could have used a bottle opener in the kitchen. The lanai screens were torn and let in bugs, and there broken tiles around the pool border. The string lights in the pool area were plugged into a power strip laying on the ground outside, and when it rained hard the lights flickered. The mattresses felt like they needed to be upgraded (I felt like I was rolling into my husband). Location was very convenient.

Family stay

We had a very nice stay at this property. It fit 4 adults and 2 children nicely, was centrally located. We had a couple issues with a shower knob and the pool but the manager was very responsive. Would recommend this location!

Disappointed and disrespected

I had a very disappointing experience at this property. The real estate agent involved was extremely disrespectful and made unfair accusations about the condition of the home after our stay. She claimed the house was “trashed” because of a few hairs in the shower and some toys that were unintentionally left behind—something that can easily happen, especially when traveling with kids. We always leave our VRBOs clean and follow house rules, and we’ve never had complaints at any other rental. What made the situation worse was that the realtor then followed me to the next VRBO I had booked, which felt invasive and completely inappropriate. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this rental based on how we were treated.

Sarasota stay

House was very clean and as described. The location to destinations in Sarasota was convenient. The only downfall was that the neighborhood was noisy. We were woken up often due to traffic sounds and cars with loud music.

Awesome

The house was great, clean comfortable and close to Ed Smith Stadium (spring training home of the Baltimore Orioles). The pool was an added bonus and we enjoyed sitting outside by the pool at night. The host was very responsive to questions we had. Thank you for your hospitality!

Nicely done by a kind host

Cute cottage in a quiet neighborhood. Clean, updated and nicely decorated. Just a few miles from downtown and beaches.
