PERMIT #218742 Welcome to “The Rosemary House” located in the beautiful La Quinta cove. Our house is just minutes to the Coachella festival grounds and world class golf / tennis resorts. Covered parking with large driveway for extra cars. Great room with bar and entertainment area. Full kitchen, laundry, and 2 full bathrooms. Private back yard with covered patio, BBQ and pool! 1 block to old town La Quinta, restaurants, and shopping. 30 minutes to Palm Springs International Airport. Enjoy!
This house was built in the 1950s, so we`ve made sure to preserve all of the original structures and flooring. 3 full bedrooms with queen beds, 2 full bathrooms, kitchen, large bonus room for entertaining. Private backyard, BBQ, and private SALT WATER pool + jacuzzi. Pickle ball court close by. Great for IG! Surrounded by beautiful mountain views.
You have access to the entire place. It’s totally private to you.

We kept the original floors from when the house was built in the 1950s, so naturally there will be some imperfections. We promise they’re perfectly clean, they just have a lot of history and charm!
Pool/Jacuzzi: To help cover the cost of gas, there is a $150 per day fee for pool & jacuzzi heating. If you`d like just the jacuzzi heated it is $65 per day. The pool takes time to heat up so we MUST know in advance. The jacuzzi will not be on when you arrive unless you explicitly request it. Otherwise you can turn it on when you arrive and it will take about 45 minutes to fully heat up. DO NOT TOUCH THE POOL EQUIPMENT AND TRY TO HEAT THE POOL YOURSELF. There is a $1000 penalty fee.
In order to maintain the cleanliness of the pool and yard we have cleaning scheduled every week at any time between 11am-3pm. It will only take an hour or less.
You must book for the exact amount of people who will be entering the house. We have a max capacity of 8 guests, no exceptions. Keep in mind there is a $35 fee per guest per night after the 4th guest.
Please follow all of the house rules. DO NOT touch or remove my personal items or artwork. During your stay you may notice gardeners, cleaning, or maintenance crew that take care of the property.
The cleaning fee only covers standard cleaning. Anything excessive will incur an additional fee.
When you check out, be sure to collect ALL of your trash and put it in the trash bins outside, wash your dishes, and return the keys to the lockbox. **ATTENTION PLEASE READ ALL RULES**
1) You MUST book for the exact amount of people that will walk through the door of the house. We don’t allow more than 8 people total and we don`t allow visitors. If you`re found to have snuck extra guests in your reservation will be canceled immediately with no refund. Keep in mind there is a $35 fee per guest per night after the 4th guest.
2) Heating fee: SPA/jacuzzi is $65 per day, pool/spa combo is $150 per day. Let us know if you would like to use it and we can charge you through Airbnb. For pool heating, we must know at least 24 hours in advance as the pool will take multiple hours to warm up. Please note that we will not turn on the jacuzzi before you arrive unless you provide us with an ETA. Otherwise you can turn it on after checking in and it will take about 45 minutes to heat up.
3) DO NOT tape or nail things to the walls! It destroys our wallpaper and paint. Also do not remove, rearrange, or alter any artwork, decorations, or furniture. DO NOT use towels as rags. Any stained towels or linens will be charged accordingly.
4) Please respect the quiet neighborhood and keep voices down when outside, quiet hours start at 10pm. NO wild parties.
5) NO AMPLIFIED MUSIC OR BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS OUTSIDE (the city has a new ordinance about noise and I can lose my rental license if a noise complaint is made.)
6) NO SMOKING of any kind (tobacco and/or weed) There is $250 smoking penalty fee. You can smoke outside, but do not throw your butts on the ground and make sure the windows and doors are closed so the smell does not get inside the house.
7) Dogs are welcome! NO DOGS IN THE POOL. Pet hair destroys filters. No cats. There is a one time pet fee of $75 per dog, 2 dogs max. Please don`t allow your dogs to go into the bedrooms or to be on any furniture.
8) DO NOT leave doors open when it is hot outside. It will suck the cool air out and make the house extremely hot. It will cause strain on the AC and eventually break it.
9) Please do not leave the spa running all day, turn it OFF after using it.
10) Remember to put keys back in lockbox when you check out. There is a $35 fee for lost keys.
11) The cleaning fee only covers standard cleaning. Anything excessive will incur an additional fee.
12) When you check out, be sure to collect ALL of your trash and put it in the large trash can outside, wash your dishes, and return the keys to the lockbox.
13) DO NOT move, cover, or unplug the security cameras. Since the pool is not fenced, the camera is there for liability reasons in the event that someone gets hurt or drowns while using the pool. We do not watch the cameras unless something were to happen.
14) If you get locked out, please do not attempt to rip our screens off the windows. Many guests have done this and we have to charge them. Screens and windows are expensive.
15) We have outdoor security cameras in the front and back yard for safety issues which we fully disclose. The cameras are only looked at for emergency purposes.
16) The property is maintained regularly, you may see gardeners and/or a pool guy during your stay. They are there very briefly (30 minutes or less) and only maintain the outdoor areas of the property, not inside the house.
*Violation of these rules will be result in fines and immediate termination of the reservation with no refund.

Property was very kid and pet friendly. No oven was a surprise, short enough visit that we adjusted. No dishwasher, small fridge and freezer was a surprise, but again workable since short visit. Owner/mngt. company were very accommodating!

Cozy, fun and funky!
We spent New Years in La Quinta and enjoyed our stay. The house is well appointed and the furnishings and fun and funky! The house has a good living room area and the pool is a great size with an attached hot tub.There is no dishwasher but we had no problem washing our dishes by hand. The host is SO nice and helpful and so quick to respond to any questions.
